Costco is Costco. It's everything you'd expect. Full parking lots, great deals and long lines. Fortunately I live very close so I typically go within an hour of closing and it's less busy. But on a recent visit as we were leaving, my husband asked a question about the store to the lady checking our receipt. She was a sweet Filipino lady. She did not know the answer but convincingly told us she would have the answer next time we came. She had no idea when that would be. About 5 days later we stopped in for a couple of things and there she was again at the door. My husband smiled and said, hey! And asked the question again. She got really excited she saw him and said she'd been waiting for us. She pulled a sticky note out of her pocket and had the answer for him. She didn't have to do that. She had no idea when we'd be back. She put that note in her pocket every day hoping she would see us. I just wanted to hug her. Her name is Amy and she definitely went above and beyond what she needed too. I now have a favorite employee!! read more

Several times now, I've noticed that the pharmacy technicians here struggle with customer service. Their tone can come off as abrupt or unfriendly, often rushing through face-to-face interactions and phone calls. They tend to avoid eye contact, quickly confirm medications, and rarely offer guidance unless asked directly. As a nurse, I completely understand that healthcare workers experience fatigue and burnout, and I certainly don't expect perfection. However, when approaching the counter or calling on the phone, customers just want to be acknowledged and treated with respect--not rushed or made to feel like a burden. I appreciate the vital role the pharmacy team plays, but I hope the Silverdale Costco pharmacy techs can find ways to serve customers with a bit more warmth and compassion moving forward. I enjoy shopping at Costco but not during the weekends. The crowds are just crazy. It was super busy at this location, however, we were able to check out timely at the self checkout section surprisingly. I sampled the lobster ravioli yesterday 12/12/25. It was a huge ravioli with not much lobster. It was good but not that good for me to purchase it LOL! read more

It's Costco! great products, strange customer base not sure if I'm shopping in a red state

Costco here is still busy but there's a time about 90 minutes prior to closing that is the secret to get in and get out fast. Is it just me or does everyone go with the "flow" inside here too? Start on the right side of the store, circle around to zig zag down the middle then back up the left to checkout. If you go against the flow, you may meet some resistance and a few dirty looks. Executive membership is the way to go; even just shopping for two. Cash back awards and the Costco Visa is also worth looking into when paying for gas or your next trip. My only gripe here is PLEASE bring back the scanner gun at the self checkout! Could speed things up so much and no more placing items on the scale tray. read more

This is in regard to the tire center only. I had an emergency flat tire and brought it in for repair since the tires were purchased through Costco. They kept the tire all day, at closing said they didn't have time to repair it and told me to schedule an appointment for three days from now. So now I'm stuck with a flat tire. I'd never recommend Silverdale Costco Tire Center. Go to Les Schwab, they go above and beyond. read more

Was here on 1/10/2026 at 620pm.. walked around their jewelry section looking at silver items. Both employees there were engaging in convo and didn't want to make a sale. Bought a pizza at self checkout kiosk, waited nearly 15 minutes for it. The speaker isn't very clear on number calling so I may have missed mine I went to window said excuse me 2x and was ignored.. I get it close to closing but you are still on the clock. So frustrating we just left and said screw the pizza. read more

This is a tricky one. I'm not writing a review about Costco but one about the T-Mobile kiosk inside the store. We'd decided to change from Verizon to T-Mobile and quickly found out the wireless phone kiosks inside Costco are run differently now. The Silverdale Costco is the only store in Kitsap County with T-Mobie (the only wireless company offered at that location) so that's where we went. The primary purpose of my review is to talk about Chelsea G., the T-Mobile rep who took care of everything. We would've gone with T-Mobile based on her personality and service alone. As it turned out, we were lucky she's such an amazing person because we spent a lot of time with her. A LOT of time, and it was basically my fault. On our first visit she did an excellent job explaining about all the free goodies T-Mobile had to offer and the rebates we could expect for the three lines were purchasing based on which phone model we chose. We thought everything was to be handled on that day, only to find that since Costco no longer stocks inventory for the kiosk Chelsea had to order our stuff to be delivered to our home, which meant coming back for a 2nd visit. But we were still excited because T-M was giving us a lot of stuff for FREE. All fine and dandy. Chelsea did a great job of writing down everything we were supposed to do at home regarding charging the phones and data transfers between our old and new phones. But life has a way of getting in the way and I never looked at the card she gave us. So when we returned to the kiosk Chelsea was faced with doing it all. Some parts went smoothly and a lot not so smoothly because my wife and I don't remember passwords to things and didn't have them on the old phones. Our son came to our rescue a few times but Chelsea took on the brunt of the grunt work. By the time we left the store, all systems and phones were operational but we still had MORE setup homework to do. But through it all, even when it seemed dark and hopeless (to me) Chelsea hung in there with the dogged professionalism for which she should be recognized--which is the main purpose of this review. You can bet she'll get all all 10s and superlative comments when T-M requests we fill out a survey. read more

We enjoy shopping at Costco, and this location offers most of the items we want/need - with some strange exceptions, like regular aspirin tablets (versus the low dose option). The space is also well organized. And most of the staff helpful and engaging. We recently visited to purchase our plants for the year, and we were thrilled with the selection and price. We also grabbed a turkey sandwich and a cookie on our way out. Sadly, the sandwich was not good (a very unpleasant flavor combination). But thankfully the chocolate chip cookie was warm and tasty (as always). Pro-Tip: You can buy beautiful flower bouquets at Costco for less than half what you'd pay at a florist. Such a great deal! Pro-Tip 2: If you haven't tried the croissant bread (and want a decadent addition to your next sandwich experience), I'd highly recommend giving it a try. read more

It's Costco, after all! The place feels smaller than other Costco facilities we've been to, but it's just as packed and bustling. The food court and seating area are relatively small, but the food menu is the same and people seemed eager to find a seat and enjoy their meals/snacks. The store itself has everything we needed, and we love the self-checkout for times when we have few items to purchase. Membership & returns staff were friendly and helpful. read more

This place just gets worse and worse. My partner and I recently came to this Costco, one that we visit several times a month and this time we were stopped at the door and asked loudly if we were a couple after I showed my card. We were entering the store along with several other groups but as the only same sex couple we were stopped and publicly interrogated about our relationship status. I get that Costco has become convinced that all of us members are thieves or that we secretly pay $120 a year because we enjoy being harassed and having our ID checked every 5 ft. But if you're going to stop paying members to ask if they're couples, then you should stop every group to confirm that everyone on the account, not just stop the same sex couples. That was upsetting enough, but worse was when I asked to speak with a manager to share my experience and how it felt being singled out. When I met with the manager all she did was shrug and say "I'm sure she didn't mean it like that". Haven't been back since and won't be returning. If you can't treat all of your customers the same then you've lost our business. read more

Got my first Costco card in 1983 at the store they opened on 4th Avenue in Seattle. Bought $75 worth of bulk Raisin Bran and toilet paper! Well, maybe a few more items but it is pretty funny upon reflection. Even got a polish sausage and coke at the outdoor stand for $1.50. Was a deal then, and an even better deal at the same price these 36 or so years later. I think everyone knows the quality that Costco has in terms of backing its products. Great money back return policies. I've never used it but just grateful that that is how the company operates. We also know that the quality of the food is definitely there. I think they have the best meat section of any store. Yes, our family always finds ourselves at Costco during the busiest seasons to grab the holiday deals and discounts. The Costco pumpkin pie is a big hit here. Oh, and so is the rotisserie chicken! For me though, the best thing about Costco is the company's corporate philosophy and actions of full commitment to building a better community. Costco gives in big ways to the organizations that make a difference for our fellow citizens. Great buys, awesome customer care, generosity for helping those in need, and so much more, makes me happy to have been a patron of Costco for so many years...since the grand opening in 1983. read more

There was a crazy number of people in the Silverdale Costco today, but our visit went very smoothly and pleasantly. Getting ice cream after shopping was the best part. The food court was very busy, but the workers were so fast and polite. The ordering system is done on kiosks, then you wait for your number to be called. It's so efficient, and the air-conditioning was wonderful since it was ungodly hot outside. I'm from a much less populated area, so the crowds were a little shocking to me, but the employees kept everything moving. They all did an amazing job. read more

Need 18 roses for that significant other? Guess what, this place has it! Water salesman, Vitimix salesman, super sample makers, super cashiers, super selection of meats/veggies/dairy, super return policy, super everything! Never pressured. Omar The Cashier is super awesome and everybody is nice! Even the receipt checkers at the exit make awesome art with their highlighters for the little kiddos. Note: Focus when you're in here. One mistake and that trip to just get roasted chicken and eggs could cost $400 (from all of the extras lol). Tip: Book vacations with them. This store is well stocked with pleasant employees. It's pretty busy but manages crowds all right. Entering the gas lines can be challenging and the area of entry into the car lines should be managed a bit better. A while ago I was inside when there was a brief rain storm but apparently a lot of rain came down. When I got outside my car was sitting in a lake size puddle. I had to unload etc. In this lake and spent the rest of the day running errands with cold wet feet. Costco, you can do better than this. Check your drainage in the parking lot! read more

*COSTCO TIRE CENTER REVIEW* I had a flat tire and went to Costco Tire Center today and the front desk technician, Justin was really friendly and very professional and pleasant. He was able to order me new tires and set up an appt for the tire installation all within a short time. He also told me to pull around to the back to get my air pressure and wheel lugs checked since I put on the spare by myself. I think Costco did a great job hiring him and his team for the superior professionalism shown and it made me feel very taken care of. read more

Here is all 3 comments with more detail in there entirety: 1st feedback in app... On 4/10/24 @ 1210, at the self checkout, I was in line for the next register. The ID checker was helping another customer ring up flowers. An elderly woman clearly looking for assistance wandered up from behind and went directly to her as she finished ringing up flowers at the other self checkout line and spoke with her. At the same time, the customer at the register in front of me finished and as I moved up to checkout, she walked up to me and said, "she's next in line sir, you skipped her." I responded "no" she was behind me. She replied, I need to check your ID as I was scanning it at the register. I said the machine just checked it. She immediately threatened to take my COSTCO membership card. I said, "Do it and I'll never spend another dime in this place." She walked away, checking other customers cards, while saying something like, "it's the way you did it." I said, "me??? it's you, you're the one that accused me of skipping in line," in front of all these other customers. I told a supervisor and a Manager right after the incident. I told him I was agitated because of how she publicly embarrassed me for something I didn't do. The Manager apologized & said he would speak with her (the supervisor confirmed it was Tammy). As I was speaking to the Manager another customer that saw the incident walk up behind me, corroborated my version of the events and told the Manager that she was rude to me. Not just "BAD customer service", but horrible communication skills, if they don't believe me they should watch/listen to the security video; maybe a great opportunity for customer service training dos and don'ts for their employees; especially the employee that indiscriminately accuses customers of things they didn't do. ****break**** 2nd feedback in app...... .....along with my previous statements, I am so disappointed and upset that your employee embarrassed me in front of other customers, had a lack of awareness, lacked customer service skills, and was immediately accusatory and threatening with her power to take away my costco card for her mistake. So I exercised the only real RIGHT/POWER a consumer has...I vowed to never ever shop there again. So now Costco is on my no shopping list; that includes gas too......continue to get rich off of everyone but me and I guess that's part of the problem...... read more

I called ahead of time to see if they still offered free refills of the glasses cleaning solution so I didn't take the bottle I have in. Unfortunately they don't. The young woman I didn't catch her name but I called at 11:16 2/6/23 was very helpful and made a sugestion that I took her up on when I came in later that day. Family of 4 cruising every single aisle maskless. Other genius Karens doing the same. There is a very active discussion about Silverdale Costco's zero mask enforcement on a neighboring community page. Costco is getting seriously dragged for this. We do have a state mask mandate don't we? A Costco employee recently shared that the mandate can not be enforced if a member claims they aren't able to wear a mask for medical reasons. I didn't have a member ship myself, my parents have one and we have been loyal customers for 5 + years. Some lady, whom I'm assuming is a worker, asked me if I'm 16 years old. I told her I'm not since I am OVER 16. She didn't allow me to even explain that my parents were inside the store shopping. We left the store hungry and had no where else to go. Without going into details as to why, a manager was requested by this member; soon after a very nice young lady presented herself as the assistant manager, Cheryl, or Charlotte, or something beginning with 'Ch...' The issue at hand was being discussed calmly, when out of nowhere speaks Doug Reed, store manager, who without any invitation or introduction, or involvement in the conversation, with indignant condemnation and an angry scowl on his face. Doug Reed was told to mind his own business and remove himself from the conversation; he did not until he was yelled at to go away! When Doug Reed had removed himself, the assistant manager was more than happy to revealed Doug's last name, which heretofore had been unknown. The assistant manager apologized for her superior's behavior, and she received sympathy for her position. it is this member's fervent wish Doug Reed is removed from his position and the very pleasant and professional assistance manager is promoted. This store will never be visited again by this member, or anyone who may be influenced. read more

Let me state first: the optometrists are great. With one exception , the doctors receptionists are great. I had asked if the glasses I had chosen Costco Online Optometry available,sure just show the staff what you want to see and they will pull them for you. NOT!!! I pulled a numbers tag to get in line and had asked one of three techs if they could look at my selection online. She barely looked at my list (8). Said no we don't have those , you need to buy those online. so I went looking for another set. They called my number and I wasn't ready so the next person in line took my place. Then after waiting for 45 minutes they called an advance number (5). I called out what about #2?! I was told that was an old number and I needed to pick another number. That was really the last straw. 3 techs. 2 of them talking with their 'clients' for 45 minutes each. The third one was working with 'client' who was buying contacts lenses. Does it really take 45 minutes to write an order up? Couldn't the first tech who flat out refuse to help me look for frames that at least looked like the ones online? They lost a Big sale!
