Oh look, Joseph yet again not practicing social distancing.
    James R.

Walmart implements isle direction arrow's. Joseph an employee of Walmart. While showing a customer of where a item they are looking for. Goes against Walmart direction arrows. As a concern also for maintaining 6 foot social distancing. Maybe the employees didn't get the memo or just too incompetent to understand https://corporate.walmart.com/newsroom/2020/03/31/additional-steps-were-taking-for-the-health-and-safety-of-our-associates

I've always had a pretty good experience with this Walmart. The aisles are easy to navigate.

Jackson KNOWS his store, normal inventory and the exclusive stuff. He also knows his way around the computer system and did his best, exhausting all option in the pursuit of this sweater for my daughter. Unfortunately, the item is discontinued and no longer available at other Tractor Supply Co stores, but the effort this young man put into searching makes him a stellar employee in my opinion. Tractor Supply Co is a great store and is our go-to for best prices on animal feed and products for our potbellied pig, rabbits, Guinea pigs and bantams, as well as country living knickknacks. We purchased a little stuffed chicken, as my daughters and I left we all agreed Jackson was attentive to our plight, cared about the customer experience, and his easy going nature was welcoming and warm. If more people were like him, the world would be a happier place to shop.

It's housed in an old general store that the owners fixed up for business. The atmosphere here is elegant meets shabby chic. It's one of the stores where the inventory is so cool and well displayed, it makes me want to buy something and take a little piece of the store's feeling home with me. You'll find cool plates and glasses, antiques, designer purses and other fun stuff. The owner also sells her landscape paintings here. It's worth planning the drive for some cool shopping. On one occasion I got my mom some really beautiful hand-blown juice glasses. Each one was different, but they made a lovely set. And I got about 6 glasses for something like $35. Not bad. Along with the store, there's a pretty patio and the owner sells boxed lunches. The menu is online. There's usually some sandwiches for sale, but you can also call and place a specific order by 4 p.m. the day before you want to go for lunch. I've never eaten here, I've only shopped, so I can't comment on the food either way. I can say I do love shopping in the store and will go back for gifts...be they for others or me!

When I try this at home, it looks like I'm having a yard sale in my living room. It's not really that far if you hop on the Powhite...I don't know why Richmonders think going to Midlothian is like traveling to another country. Of course, I spend a lot of time in that part of the city since I have family there. It's a great place for gifts, especially for somebody who already has everthing, because there are a lot of one-of-a-kind things to wear or home accessories. I love the colorful cowboy hats and always see dishes or glasses I would like to have, but I've put a moratorium on buying stuff like that until I can afford a big hutch or china cabinet. I haven't ever had lunch there, but there's a really cute patio area so it looks like it would be a fun place to take a break from a hard day of shopping (or hunter-gathering as I like to think of it). I wouldn't call this an inexpensive place...more mid-range or pricing like you would expect in a Carytown boutique.

The cashier,…read moreKurtrell, told me out loud so the store manager, and all of the customers could hear that he lied to me about the Dollar Tree not accepting EBT/SNAP cards because he didn't know how to process them and his customer check out line was long and he didn't want to hold it up. So I had to pay for items unnecessarily. The manager, James did not apologize. I am on Hospice with end stage heart failure so I am on disability and a limited income. The stress of the situation certainly didn't help my heart function either. But all people no matter what color should be treated with kindness, empathy, and with respect. This Dollar Tree does not hold those values. I will never shop there again and I'm sure they're glad. When you're in customer service that's your job to take care of customers and treat them with respect as long as they are respectful to you, which I was and always am. I discourage anyone from shopping there. One should promote a business who treats anyone disrespectful. Customers are their lifeline and they should treat them as such. I have called corporate several times, but have not received a phone call back. It starts at the top; if the Dollar Tree corporate doesn't care how their customers are treated, nor the Dollar Tree managers care how they customers are treated, then their associates won't care they treat customers. If I could give -5 stars, I would.

The men's department had a pretty good selection! Even though it was his shopping spree, I picked up the coziest, fluffiest coat for me and some Baublebar earrings on sale! Hey, it's almost impossible to leave Target without a treasure or two! And if you need to grab a few groceries? Yeah! They got that!! Target has just about everything! My impulse control also leaves the building, but the siren call of the Dollar Spot is too strong... This Target has some of the nicest employees I've ever encountered and that is saying something because I used to work for Disney! It's so nice to walk into such a well organized, sparkling clean store and be greeted by friendly faces. In the time of Covid, I've been trying to limit my time out and about until I can get my vaccine. Target's drive up pickup service is a god send. It is so easy to place an order and they bring it right out to your car in a matter of minutes. Magic! When I do have to go into the store, I feel pretty safe with all of the precautions in place. All employees are masked up and most customers are too. Returns are a breeze thanks to the efficient friendly front desk workers. I've also picked up online orders at the front desk when I needed to make a return. They did it all in one smooth transaction and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. With a Starbucks, a pharmacy, and all the knick knacks, gifts, and home supplies that you need, this Target has you covered.
