Went to this store a few times because it's close to where I live. Anything said online that it's available in store was not available. Ordered a pick up twice and had to wait 45 minutes for the curbside pick up and 30 mins for the in store pick up. It's totally unorganised and was simply a mess. This place is terrible. Lines are too long and slow and not sure anyone cared. I came to try they key machine and buy something only they carried. Will never go back to buy anything, regardless of how much i can save and will look for another brand of anything bs go back. Now the key machine was pretty cool and convenient. Each key i made worked perfectly, which is more than i can say for the last set of key i had made by a human. Price was fair, although the locksmith charged about the same for one key if you can believe it. If you need more than one, the key machine does give good discounts for multiple keys. The locksmith charged $3 per key and since I needed 2, was a total of $6. Not bad, except I had to go back because the keys didn't work the first time. The locksmith did some sanding and then they worked fine. This key machine charged $3 for basic brass and $4 for designer (flag, Raiders, colors, etc) keys. If you needed more than 1, the 3rd key was free. I really only needed two, but 3rd was free so bonus. The machine will then offer another special for a discounted fourth key, which I didn't take the first time because it was like 1/2 price and I already had more than I needed with three. The second time, the offer was $.50 for a basic brass key (normally $3) so I had to take it. I really didn't need 4 keys, but two extra for $.50 total seems like a good way to have extras on the cheap. Pro tip. Find a discount code or have one emailed to you from the machine. Horrible experience today (12.14.2022) at this Walmart's Customer Service booth. I was trying to return a $10 item and I was helped by a young Latina (or for the woke crowd, LatinX) by the name of VERONICA. Poor customer service skills, straight up lies to my face and doesn't have the logic skills to make a proper argument. On top of that, she doesn't look like she wants to be there. Basically I was trying to return something that was $10 with a picture of my receipt, because in the digital age, who the hell carries around a paper receipt right lol. First she tells me that they can't take a photo receipt for a return. I asked her, what's the difference? You can either scan the bar code or type in the receipt number and it'll show up on your POS, and she's like no, we can't. Okayyyy... it's not like I'm trying to scam them for a $10 return and I didn't want to be that Karen and argue, so I told her that I'll just take a gift card. She's like we need a receipt. LOL HAHAHA... Right behind this DB there's a sign that CLEARLY says "Walmart will take your return with or without a receipt." So I pointed that out to her and here comes reason denial number 3.... She pretends to scan the item and tells me "Walmart doesn't carry this item" (My eyes roll...) I tell her, ummmm this is a Walmart receipt and I brought it here. I can pull up the app, type in the item, and it'll tell me what aisle it's at. Then she's like let me get a manager to help you... I'm like ok, so I told her, while I'm waiting for the manager, I'll just scan the receipt in my Walmart app and we can just do the return that way. ALL OF A SUDDEN... she's able to do the refund. Wasted 5 minutes of time of what could've been a quick 1 minute transaction. Maybe she was having a bad morning, or she just wants to make people's lives miserable or... wait for it... This walmart just be hiring anybody. Very few of the staff are okay, the majority of them are just teenagers who don't know what they're doing, seriously do they not train these kids? The demeanors of the adult staff are very unwelcoming and just plain rude, they can't at least fake a smile or put on their "customer service voice". We all tired of our jobs, get over it. Speaking of customer service, the customer service section is very slow, there's always either one person working there or...... one person working there.... and the other is just on their phone doing absolutely nothing while everyone is impatiently waiting their turn. I went to the self checkout this morning, the machine broke and didn't give me all my change, I called for assistance and again, they were slow. I was already grumpy from lack of sleep but what kinda ticked me off was that when the person was helping me refresh the checkout machine, a pop up asked to rate my experience from 1-5 stars and they put 5 stars, lmao. I get that it's also your job to do what's good for business but have you ever thought about also being a little more competent for your customers... Another thing with the staff, they have absolutely no idea where their items are at, I had to ask multiple employees where I could find this specific thing I was looking for before actually finding it. What I found odd was that all their answers were completely different aisle numbers. It's really a shame this is the only Walmart available near me. read more

This review is for curb-side pickup. We've been here about 6 times during the start of the pandemic and never had an issue. If they ran out of something they tell us online and replace it with something similar or we have the option of not including it in our order. Whoever picks up our order does a really thorough job in picking up produce that doesn't have much blemishes on them. Bonus points for our super smooth and ding-free apples! They usually know when we are in the parking lot and come out less than 10 mins to deliver our order. All we have to do is pop our trunk and they safely place all our groceries in the back. There are plenty of pickup slots to drive up to. This is the BEST service during the height of the pandemic. Everyone had their masks on and there is zero contact. For those with immunocompromised systems or work with the public this is a safe and convenient way to do your shopping. Shoutout to Christian for delivering our order and even exchanging a broken distilled water (even though we didn't tell him to or know about it). Honesty and kindness goes far these days. We even offered him a tip but he didn't want it! :(. Oh well...He said he enjoys helping people out. If you see this field director/bossman/manager...give him a promotion!!! read more

Went here for a few essentials and most of the clothing departments were on clearance! I also didn't realize that this Walmart sold some manga and anime items! Found a My Hero Academia backpack! they didn't have a wipe warmer (what we went there for) but they did have other items we needed that weren't readily available in other stores near me. read more

THE BEST WALMART IN SOCAL . Unfortunately there aren't many great Walmart stores in SoCal but this one is probably the one you want to go to. Here are some highlights: * This store is huge! They have almost everything * They have a large home and garden section in a separate building from their main store. * The store is very clean, can't say much about the other Walmart's but this one is very well upkept. * Staff at the store is very multicultural and helpful. Horrible. One of the was rude, careless, and overall a horrible degenerate. I tried buying the campbells mushroom soup to make pasta. I coincidentally saw that it was on sale so I bought 10 instead the the planned 5. When I went to check out, the cashier informed me that it was a dollar. I didn't buy it and just stuck with the other items in the cart. After getting in my car I realized I forgot to buy sprite. I went in and coincidentally saw another employee and inquired about the cost. They confirmed that it was meant to be fifty cents and that the cashier had made a mistake. They also told me to take a picture of the stand to price check in case the cashiers didn't realize. After going to check out, a different woman was my cashier. When I simply said excuse me, she responded in a very demeaning manner. I showed her the picture but she claimed it was only for one can and was very impatient and dismissive. I wanted to buy a mop and walked around the home section. I asked an employee where I can find mops and she knew exactly where it was and told me the aisle number. FYI It is on the same side as groceries but more toward the back of the store in the cleaning/detergent area. The aisles are marked for traffic flow but unfortunately some people don't follow it. It also doesn't help that people walk with different speeds. All the employees that I have encountered were helpful. The employee at the self checkout directed traffic and was friendly. The pick up area for online orders at the other building in the back was confusing since I was looking for an entrance, but it is a closed gate (confusing), but I guess makes sense. I didn't have the walmart app so I wanted to pick up in person. Sometimes other shoppers intimidate me at this walmart, but the employees are doing well. read more

Barbasol Shaving cream at $1.54 is LOCKED UP behind a case at this Walmart, the worst Walmart I have ever been to...and you must purchase it at a special cashier counter in that section which is staffed by one person. This one employee is also responsible for unlocking all the cases which store basic items like face wash along with higher prices one that must be prone to theft like condoms and pregnancy tests. She is also tasked as acting as a security/bouncer because no carts are allowed in despite there being no sign saying no carts. So every few minutes someone tries to roll in with a cart. Why put up a sign if you can make his/her busy job even busier. Gotta make sure he/she is earning that minimum wage. So if you don't mind waiting ten minutes to get the case unlocked and then another 15 in a line to purchase the shaving cream, you will save about $1 buying it here. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THE MANAGER "JOE" I purchased a gift card for my cousin no more than 5 hours from the time of purchase. Gave it to him to register online with a zip code so he's able to use it wherever he goes (per instructions on the website). He notices that there is one number scratched off from the 16 digit(s) on the card and as well as the 3 digit security code on the back of the card. I went back around 8:30pm to see if there is something that can be done about it. I told him I couldn't register it bcus they need the entire CC number and security code.. he then asks me if I have registered it after I just told him I couldn't register it. That already tells me he isn't listening. At one point he tried to look at the numbers and tried to decipher what they could be. I'm not sure if there is a scam going on with these gift cards but it has also happened to my cousin at Target but she was able to get another gift card swapped out after the Target staff checked and discovered that there were a bunch of other gift cards at their kiosk where the barcode was masked with a piece of paper taped to it that had an identical barcode printed on it. So tell me, how is Target able to swap out the gift card for another one but Walmart isn't able to do that and didn't even try. Joe didn't even bother to go and check that kiosk to see if there were possibly other cards that this is being done to. Not sure how Joe was ever promoted to manager, his customer skills and listening skills suck ass. $125 was stolen from me and I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. CHECK YOUR GIFT CARDS before you leave even then, Walmart would still not even be able to help you. Ask for another manager other than Joe. read more

Seems like a lot of bad reviews are regarding online orders and in-store pickup and packed lines. I went to this Walmart for the first time in a LONG TIME last week (last time I came was probably 10 years ago) and thought it was great -- Walmart Supercenter locations tend to carry way more stuff than your average Walmart. This location also had a nice Spanish-style design on the outside...very nice. I was able to go in and get the stuff I needed. I noticed some sections like the juice and coffee fridge kinda empty but it appears workers were restocking inventory. This Supercenter also has self-checkout (which it didn't back in 2014, which is when some of the bad reviews about lines were posted), which is great and can alleviate line buildup. It's much faster when you ring yourself up as opposed to having another person do it (at least to me). Parking was packed and I had to park further near the back of the lot, but otherwise, I was able to in, get what I needed, browse a bit, and get out in one piece. I can't speak for customer service as I didn't interact with anyone while here, but I know from experience that it can vary greatly by location. This location is next to the Panda Express corporate office off the 60 and pretty hidden near the stretch of warehouses and office parks. read more

I had really bad experience with the past two visits (went there for two straight days). I wanted to buy a Disney Scooter at Walmart but didn't want to pay for shipping (it's less than $35). When I see that this Disney scooter was in stock at this Walmart, I went & wanted to get it directly from there. I couldn't find it on the shelves. The customer representative told me they probably don't have one anymore. While I was waiting to talk to the customer representatives, people were definitely not practicing social distances. These people were so closed to each other and there were no social distance labels on the floor unless you're at the very front of the line. I got cut off because I was practicing my social distance. Anyways, the real reason I gave them a 1-star review is because when I picked up my package, there were tape taped all over the box. When I finally took a closer look at the box, I noticed they have reduced the price by $5 cheaper on the day I ordered it. Anyways, that wasn't the biggest issue. When I finally opened the box, I can see the wheels of the scooter being super dirty - an evidence that someone has bought & used this scooter, then returned it for whatever reason. I had to return this item as a result, which made me wait in the customer care line again where people do not practice social distances. I am definitely not coming back to this Walmart, at least not until we're done with COVID-19. read more

I've been using Walmart online delivery (Rosemead store) for several years and things keep getting worse. I usually have one or two missing items and contact the customer service for refund but today was the last straw. Half my order was missing. I tried to talk to the driver but he didn't speak English. I did get a refund but having to deal with missing items most of the time is ridiculous. I cancelled my membership and wrote a n email to the CEO, not that I'm expecting any response or change in service. This is a review for Sunday afternoon. The parking lot is huge so there is no parking problem. It's very hot outside. Thank God everyone in line is allowed into the store. I think this is a Walmart superstore. It has MCD inside. It also sells groceries. If you are thirsty, there are soda machines by the entrance. $0.50 for a can of soda. Nice. The store is definately crowded. No one is concern. The bathrooms are not that clean. Don't come here if you are a germ freak. Minus 2 stars. Not everything is cheap. Some items have very reasonable price. The Easter candies are 75% off today. Nice. Lots of staff stocking the empty shelves. However, I saw some of the employees are working with mask not on their face. It must be hard to wear mask while working. Is wearing a mask optional for Walmart employees? Minus 2 stars. read more

This place is usually a hit, but my last visit was a miss. Before the social distancing or lockdown, I always ordered items from Walmart. I would then pick up the order at this store. The Walmart app allows you to check in before you arrive the store, so that you could eliminate having to check in at the pick up location. During my last visit, I checked in using my app. I walked into the pouch up location and no one was there. I asked the Walmart employee that was checking the receipts as customers excited the store, if he could please have an employee help me. After at least 15 minutes, there was no employee. By then, 2 customers walked away from the pick up location. I then asked for a manager on duty, as I was speaking to the manager an employee showed up. It's amazing that an employee shows up when the manager is around. Lately I have been ordering items on Walmart 's app or site, and on the date in which the item is suppose to be delivered it is cancelled. This happened before the coronavirus pandemic. My point is that if Walmart does not have the items available, they should not have them on their app or their website. I now shop at another site that also offers pick up and delivery options. Their competitor is further, but at least I don't receive a last minute cancellation. read more

Today i had a very bad experience shopping there. I went there to get about 200 avocados for my business. i packed them all in produce bags, 20 in each 10 bags total. when i went to the self check out the employee stopped me and wanted to count each avocado individually and opened every bag. i tell the girl that there were 20 in each bag and there were 10 bags because i didn't want to package them again. but she insisted to open every bag and count them individually which took a long time. i told her to pack them the way i packed them after she finished counting because avocados can't have too many cramped together in a bag. but she didn't do what i told her to do, after i had to pack them by myself all over again. also, i told her there were 200 avocados but she counted 192 i believe they counted it wrong. though they counted wrong and let me got 8 free avocados but im still very upset. i feel that they profiled me. after i left and at the exit i saw the girl pointing and talking to the other coworkers about me. read more
