Stopped by Mingle Mochi and Croffle and tried the taro dessert bowl along with the mango purple rice croffle. If you like desserts that are lighter and not overly sweet, this place is worth checking out. The taro dessert bowl had mochi, taro, purple rice, and grass jelly, which gave it a lot of different textures in every bite. Make sure to get a little bit of everything together because that was the best way to eat it. It had a nice balance and wasn't too sweet. The mango purple rice croffle reminded me of mango sticky rice in croffle form. The flavors worked really well together and it felt lighter than a heavier dessert option, making it easy to finish. Good spot if you're craving Asian-style desserts and want something sweet without feeling overloaded with sugar.

Cute spot with some delicious desserts. I had the milk mochi with mango, purple rice, and coconut milk. I added strawberries to mine. The milk mochi is nice and chewy, not sweet at all. You need the sweetness from the fruit to really give it flavor. My wife got the croffle. It was freshly made, warm, savory and just sweet enough with the cream. Service was good. I did have a few questions and was able to get them answered even though I was using the self serve kiosk.

Stopped by and tried the Strawberry Mango Milk Mochi Bowl (boba was also a topping that was included) and the Cookies & Cream Croffle. I liked that the desserts weren't overly sweet, which made them feel a little lighter than most dessert spots. The mochi was fresh and had a great chewy and a bit of bouncy texture, though I didn't find it particularly different from other mochi desserts, especially given the higher price point. The Cookies & Cream Croffle was tasty as well: crispy, warm, and satisfying without being too rich. There's also a parking lot in the back if street parking is in front is full. I'd come back again if I was craving a croffle.

Tried out this new dessert place the other day! This place sells soft mochi bowls with toppings and croffles. The croffle was amazing! Definitely one of the best places to get croffles. Most places don't get the texture right and usually the cream is too sweet but this place does it perfectly. Also nice that they precut the croffle so it's not hard to eat. It's also made fresh to order, comes out warm and crispy. Haven't tried the mochi yet but saw a lot of people ordering it. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

OMG, this "mochi waffle" here is crazy yummy! Period!!! I will not say too much. Ah, they have a 20% OFF code for their soft opening!

Staff said after 5/28/2026 Soft Opening will be 20% off only. Maybe call to check

Parking in rear through Earle Ave. Something familiar with a twist. Interaction with staff was quite interesting.. I visited on a Thursday right as they were opened around 11am with one other person. I saw a sign for BOGO 50% off from 5/21-5/28/2026 and thought it was only for their Croffles because there were small drawings of croissants. Asked the staff about it and turns out the BOGO was for the entire menu. Surprised she didn't promote their Instagram to upgrade BOGO 50% off to BOGO Free. Staff did mention that the promotion after 5/28/2026 will be 20% off only for their Soft Opening. We were still looking through the kiosk menu to decided what to order. Staff came back out from the back and asked how the menu was. We smiled and said we were still deciding.. She giggled and said "ok, it's just us.. I don't know what else to say.. ha ha so awkward" Strawberry Matcha Croffle -croffle had a nice texture, crisp outside and soft inside with slight chew. They're freshly made to order. Matcha cream was extremely bitter and not much sweetness to it. Strawberry puree was quite tart as well. Overall topping didn't pair well together and seemed too wet. Banana Pudding Croffle -cream was good not too sweet and not overwhelming. Loved that there was cookie butter drizzled overtop. Paired well with banana slices. Singular Biscoff cookie on top was very stale. Mango Purple Rice Bowl -it was what I expected it to taste like. Mangos were sweet and soft. Purple rice was cooked well, good texture. Mochi Milk is smooth and not too sweet, almost like edible slime.. either you like it or you don't. Osmanthus Bowl -osmanthus jelly was good, floral but not too overwhelming.

I came here on Sunday and Monday (yes, back to back days). My wife loves mochi so I wanted to surprise her with the Milk Mochi that has been going viral. Unfortunately, they had sold out so instead I ordered 2 of their Croffles instead. The croffles were exceptional. They were soft and crispy and a tad chewy. The cream on top was airy and slightly sweet. Honestly, it blew my expectations. The negative was that it took about 40 minutes to get our order so my kid was getting impatient. The next day we came back earlier and got their Milk Mochi bowl. Bowl came with mango, strawberries, boba and their milk mochi. To my disappointment, the mochi was more of a pudding or custard. It was no chewiness or bounciness. Honestly, would not get again. But would come back from the croffle if I did not have to wait that long.

Tried two desserts at Mingle Mochi Croffle. The Osmanthus Bowl had all the ingredients I like in one bowl -- milk mochi, osmanthus jelly, taro paste, and grass jelly. The sweetness level was just right and not overpowering at all. I only wish it could've been served warm since I think it would make the mochi even more comforting. The Banana Pudding Croffle was freshly made and the croffle itself had a nice texture. The banana whipped cream, cookie butter, and biscoff combo worked really well together. The only downside for me was that the cold cream cooled down the croffle pretty quickly. Flavor-wise though, it was still really good. Cute dessert spot if you like Asian-inspired sweets that aren't overly sweet.

I passed by this dessert shop late at night cause I saw that the yotea got replaced. The seating area looks the same with plenty of large seats, chargers, and large tables. This place also has a couple of drinks on the menu and they have wifi as well so a great little cozy spot to study and grab dessert at night. The croffle was great. It wasnt overly sweet or anything and for 11 each its not too bad. Service is great you order on a kiosk and it comes in boxes.

Stopped by for a late night sweet treat and ordered the banana pudding croffle. It wasn't too sweet, which was something I appreciated. The croffle was warm and delicious, but the cold cream does cool it down fast. The fresh banana and crumbled biscoff went well together. The place was spacious and clean (a lot of seating area). We parked on the street! Lastly, the service was excellent! They also have a kiosk system to order your items!

Came to their soft opening. This is the menu. I forgot to take pictures of the croffle and the two drinks that we got. The croffle we got was the mango sticky rice and it was sweet and tasty. I wish they chose the other kind of mango only because it was sour so it didnt balance well. But minus the mango, it was tasty. The price was pretty steep for what it is but worth the try. The drinks we got was the double matcha, it was well balanced. The other drink was the four season and we added mango puree, which was an interesting twist to it. The staffs were nice and helpful. They're very easy going and helpful with what to purchase. The cafe felt a but empty only because its such a huge space. Definitely worth the visit if you're adventurous and want something new.

I went in to order what I expected to be a solid mochi ball with sticky rice. What I got was a big blob of slim which taste like tofu. This is not mochi. The texture is not even considered to be mochi. What a waste of money.

Omg this place is so good! I ordered the cookies and cream croffle and the biscoff matcha latte. I'm very pleased with my food. Nice, big, clean cafe! I'll be back!

They have a regular option and a vegan option where they use oat milk. The default topping was the agar boba which I kept on my drink and enjoyed it. Flavor was really good, and though I got one of the lower sweetness percentages, it was still pretty sweet to me. The others didn't mind too much as they didn't find theirs overly sweet. Unsure if they made a batch of the same sweetness cause most of us did get half sweet, but the flavor was still really good. They have other drinks as well, which I'd love to try if I return here. I'd also love to try their signature Thai tea as well. There's seating here and the people that work here are nice as well. Our drinks came out quickly too. We chilled here for a bit to enjoy our drinks and to avoid the heat a lil, and had a blast.

Unfortunately, the Brown Sugar Boba tasted funky. Some pearls had the flavor of soap. "Gross!!" I arrived at YOTEA (Rosemead) on Monday (around 12:16PM). Parking is simple if familiar with the area. There's a rear parking garage for customers. Staff is unmemorable and awkward. When I mentioned they mixed old and new menus together which displayed incorrect prices, Staff seemed amused and let them stay mixed. Staff avoided customer interaction whenever possible. The drink took two minutes and 10 seconds. Quick time. The Pandan Milk Drink ($5.99 - 50% Sweetness - Regular Ice) with Brown Sugar Boba (additional 80 cents) tasted artificial. It had a strong "candy milk taste," and it glowed a neon green when stirred. The first sip was pleasant, but as I continued to drink, the taste became more off-putting. Next, the Brown Sugar Boba tasted inconsistent. Some tasted perfectly fine, but others had the flavor of dishwater and gloop. I was tempted to throw it into the garbage can. Concerning ambiance, YOTEA (Rosemead) has potential. Ignoring the cobweb underneath one table & the somewhat old furniture, there's utility. This location has about 10 electrical outlets. Wow! There's also customer internet with password; the internet information is taped onto the black register. There's also a customer gender neutral restroom. YOTEA (Rosemead) is also very spacious. The ceiling is very tall, and there's many spots to sit. There's about 16 tables!! If desperate for a study/work spot, this is a decent choice. There's also upbeat, smooth music. Overall, I had a disappointing experience at YOTEA (Rosemead). There's utility and potential, but this business feels old and unmaintained. Rather than clean, Staff just chattered amongst themselves. Any passion that rang within these walls dissipated a long time ago. Currently, YOTEA (Rosemead) is simply mediocre. 2.9 out of 5
