Today i had a very bad experience shopping there. I went there to get about 200 avocados for my business. i packed them all in produce bags, 20 in each 10 bags total. when i went to the self check out the employee stopped me and wanted to count each avocado individually and opened every bag. i tell the girl that there were 20 in each bag and there were 10 bags because i didn't want to package them again. but she insisted to open every bag and count them individually which took a long time. i told her to pack them the way i packed them after she finished counting because avocados can't have too many cramped together in a bag. but she didn't do what i told her to do, after i had to pack them by myself all over again. also, i told her there were 200 avocados but she counted 192 i believe they counted it wrong. though they counted wrong and let me got 8 free avocados but im still very upset. i feel that they profiled me. after i left and at the exit i saw the girl pointing and talking to the other coworkers about me. read more

This Walmart has the worst parking lot and lines. Good luck finding parking in peak hours like 6pm. Lines are super long and they don't open a lot of registers. They try to make people use the scan and go machines, but some of the items like produce you can't really use scan and go. Do not use the parking lot pickup option. Everyone waited for an hour before the staff came out with their items. They do not have the labor to fulfill this function at this store. As you all, my fellow Yelpers, know... I am obsessed with Walmart! I come to Walmart for every little necessity! Even when I don't actually need anything, I'll still roam around. I was closer to this location than my usual in Duarte, and I needed to grab something last minute. It was fairly late and I arrived with my bestie. This place is an absolute mess! No matter the time, at the Duarte location, everything is still neat and pleasing to look through! I also tried multiple times to look for employees to assist me, but to no avail, I could not locate a single employee! I ended up looking through each aisle and could not find the product for my brother. He ended going to the Duarte location and sent me a photo of the product he needed. I can't believe they didn't have organza bags at this location! The customers at this location are also not as kind, respectful, and courteous as the Duarte location. I try to avoid the crowds here, but when I came this year, I was pleasantly surprised. I went the week before Xmas, but early in the morning. I needed to get some pillows to fit into some pillow cases I purchased elsewhere. There was plenty of parking, and shopping carts inside to grab. I like all the Xmas stuff, gifts that can be given to young children. It was fun to do self check-out, only because I got a few items. I bought 6 onn TV, a walmart brand. 3 of them isn't working within 90days. I brought them back and they said the box's sn wasn't matching and refused the return. The more I come here, it seems that the store is slowly becoming less organized. I've noticed merchandise are always moved around to different locations. I guess I've become a creature of habit where I like to go in and come out as quickly as I can from the store. That's why it's vital for me at least to be able to remember where everything is located to save time. Oh well. Anyhow, that's beyond my control. This Walmart is usually well stocked. But I must say that it is annoying to see a banana, or something perishable left on the shelf at another department. Yes, I know it's not the employees fault... but rather the customers who are careless. Most of the time the employees are good at helping you find things. They're patient and are knowledgeable to a point where they know the product since they work in that department. Those are the good employees who keeps their stuff within their department organized. On the other hand, there are also employees who talks way more than they should with their co-workers instead of working. At least throw away the banana, or clean the shelf. I come to this Walmart because it's close to home. There's usually ample amount of parking if you park further since the parking lot is huge. The prices here are usually a bit less expensive than the Targets. But not really a huge difference if you don't have time to shop elsewhere. Yep, they have a market food section, a McDonalds in the front, an optometry department, and a huge daily merchandise area for your general needs. A clean, big, bright store where people in our little town could afford to buy decent things. Used to love shopping at Walmart out of convenience as it was close to my house in Bradbury but started noticing the stores were poorly run. The associates care moe to mingle with eachother than to help customers. If you ask for an item they simply point you to the direction and say if you don't see it mostly likely we are out. Gotta love Wally world. Thankfully, they are far and few cause I try and avoid at all cost. Stock: Vendors don't come in till morning so in the a.m. when you're expecting a fully stocked store, WRONG! They walk I with you at 8 a.m. from a back door and are probably in a personal call talking about family drama Bathrooms: I'm the first one in the bathroom and I guess 8 hours to clean the store isn't enough. Not one customer has been in the restroom but already there's toilet paper on the floor. Parking: came at 7 am to wait for 8 am opening. Parking lot was inundated with Moemployee cars. Mostly saw employees arriving early and waiting for shift to start so all the prime parking is already snatched for the entirety of their shift. Too bad management hasn't thought far ahead enough to designate a further back side section further away to alleviate congestion and to help the security patrol employees cars mich easier. As it is now, everytime I come midday I already have to park close to Rosemead, I can imagine how much smoother my shopping would be enhanced if there were less stationary cars for a quick run to the store. read more

On May 28, 2024 I was checking out with over $200 of groceries, mostly small items. Mrs. Chen, the cashier, was tops in competence, speed and courtesy. I mean the type of service one receives on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. I have had great service at this Rosemead Walmart before but this was superlative. Being 83 years of age I sometimes need help handling the bags and filling them. She took care of everything. I come to Walmart for high quality and low prices and still found 5 star service. read more

I really dislike Walmart for a number of reasons, but this is the most convenient stop for me. This superstore is always busy, so I make it a point to do my shopping as early as possible. If you arrive before 9, you can get in and out pretty quickly. They have your basic items, the quality of customer service is truly dependent on the individual, not consistent across the board. I don't even bother waiting for the traditional check out lines, it takes too long and I can't be bothered with chatting with employs, no I just opt for self checkout. Ok, this is my second visit and I already hate this fucking place. Ok, the first time I drove by was trying to take a shortcut up to the 60 from the 10. These mean streets of San Gabriel Valley is my backyard. However, I have not been up this street since my Uncle was the Vice President of SCE. I was expecting to see this big ass sign for Panda Express Corporate Headquarters. They were up here at one point. Then I glance over to the right and saw this big ass Wal-Mart sign. The first visit I made here was to purchase a fishing license for my recent trip to Mammoth Lakes, CA. I purchase this at the sports department counter. Fill out the paper work and pay the man. Then I'm on my way out the door. Mission accomplished. Wasn't that bad in here so I got in and then got the hell out. Ok, so figured I need to look for a few more things for another trip coming up. So this place is like the next Chinatown or something because everyone and their mothers, brothers, and others were up in here. I grabbed a few items and was ready to head out. Man these lines are so freaking long, I was not able to cross each line without excusing myself each time. Some made room, some made it hard or I went around. Trying not to be confrontational, just getting through to see what other things were like. Got over to the supermarket portion of this place to check out the steak or meat section. So glancing at this place, expensive prices and more aged steaks in the fresh meat areas. Not what I really wanted so it's time to get out of dodge. I left the items I came in for and got the hell out. I'm not waiting in lines that are worse than Costco. I may have to go back to the other locations that has the system down. read more

Sadly, many Mrs. Fields cookie shops near my house have closed out. But luckily, I have found a replacement! The Marketside Ultimate Chocolate Chunk Cookies from Walmart are the best. If Mrs. Fields cookies get an A, then these cookies from Walmart would get an A- or B+. I strongly recommend those who love Mrs. Fields cookies try the ones from Walmart. Curbside pick up here is a joke. I've been waiting for 50 mins and still haven't received my order. I was waiting in the pick up area where there is numbers for 30 mins just to be told my order is on the other side. I am now on the other side and called them and 20 mins later still nothing. To start off how am I suppose to know which side my order is on? My options for parking was numbers. If one side has numbers and the other side has letters. On the app it doesn't give letter option parking spaces. The wait is ridiculous i might as well had gone in and got the stuff myself if I knew it was going to take this long. read more

As any other store, this Walmart can get pretty crowded on the weekend, so I usually go on Monday. Walmart has big parking lot which make it easier to park my wheels. On the inside, McDonald's could help fill your tummy or tax preparer service could help you on tax season. The set up of products are easy to find. The food definitely in front of us when we enter, so that is a great sell point. The pharmacy is on the other entrance, so people could easily fill their prescription. Their salad are my diet choice since the size is perfect for lunch or dinner, with so many options that I could choose. Kids definitely love going there since they put so many cute toys and knickknacks. One thing that I like is "Go green" part. If you need plastic bag, you have to purchase. read more

I wish there was a lower rating I could give Walmart Online. The laptop that was sent to me was defective and should have been tested at the factory before sending it out for sale. The return process was a nightmare! I had to call for weeks and deal with rude and incompetent customer service workers, including managers, and file a dispute with my credit card company, before I was finally refunded.
