Many of the items are made in Japan but they are starting to see the influx of Chinese manufactured goods, to their detriment. I can go to the Levis website and order the exact pair I want in my size and they will be on my doorstep in a day or two. So why bother coming to Kohl's anymore? Amazon Returns. A few days ago, I was here for an Amazon return and they handed me a coupon for 20% off my purchase at Kohl's. So I thought I'd use it. In a nutshell, that 20% off coupon Amazon gives you is bullshit. Allow me to explain... I went to the area where all of the men's sportswear clothing used to be to discover that there wasn't much to choose from. There was a lot of Champion gear, but their track pants felt like burlap. Seriously. Burlap. Nevertheless, I found a nice pair of Under Armor joggers. Good enough. I also found a Yellowstone board game (a gift for my parents - they love the TV show - shush, don't tell'em I got'em that until after this Christmas). My wife got some bras. So three totally unrelated items: pants, bras, and board game. While checking out, however, we were informed that we wouldn't be getting 20% off of anything because the coupon wouldn't work for the things we wanted. It says it all right there, in that tiny font wording on the coupon that no naked eye can read, the giant list of everything in the store that the 20% doesn't apply to. After I took the coupon home and put it under my microscope so I could read it, I would venture to say that the 20% off coupon does not work for 95% of the stuff for sale within Kohl's. After paying a lot more than we thought we would have to pay for our stuff, we were walking out when I noticed that there was a second larger location for the rest of the men's sportswear on the other side of the registers, hidden behind all their Christmas stuff. Silly me! Why didn't I just look behind the mound of Christmas swag back where the women's clothes used to be for my men's pants?! This store sucks. Unless there are some big changes, I doubt Kohl's will be around much longer. This place continues to go downhill, year after year. I seriously doubt that putting a Sephora in the middle of the store will save them. I remember when Blockbuster Video tried to save themselves by having a Radio Shack outlet that sold a small selection of cords, batteries, adapters, etc. in some of their stores. That did not work out for either of them in the end, and I predict history repeating itself in the end with Kohl's (Sephora may survive, though). Hopefully, by the time Kohl's goes under Amazon will have a drone service available to pick up my returns in my driveway.

Personally I rarely shop here but I can't resist some of their grocery items since they have a wide variety of store brands that offer things you can't get elsewhere. For instance, I've been looking for their seasonal strawberry whipped cream at many of the stores since it's perfect for Valentine's Day, but I've struck out for weeks until going to the Round Rock location. This particular one has been around for decades and looks dated although they've remodeled the inside. The location is convenient right at I-35 and the 45 toll road, and it's just across the street from Walmart with a traffic signal between the two of you need to shop at both. While this is an old, smaller location it seems to have a fine selection like the other stores, so I like shopping there for seasonal things, although they have everything you need from clothing to groceries to toys and home goods. One last tip: use their app and they'll give you 1% back to use on future purchases. And they have free wifi!

Marshalls is my very special place where I purchase all of my soaps. Yes, there are more great…read morethings, like clothes, shoes, fragrance, makeup, hair tools, and house decor that I love to purchase here, too. But the soap is my favorite. I love the Castelbel scents! I love the Lemons, Cotton Flower, and Lavender scents, and during the holidays, they bring in the Christmas scents like Sugar Cookies and Peppermint. Today I went to two Marshalls. I just had to stock up. Plus, a lover of soap, like me, got to the first one before me and only left three bars. I didn't see my creamy Goat Milk soap. Did I mention that soap is only $3.99 a bar? It's such a great value, and the clerk told me the day the truck comes in. I really appreciate that information, thank you!

The employees all over the store were so friendly and kept asking if we needed help with anything. My girls enjoyed the Easter activities and the prizes they won. We also purchased a few items and were shocked by all the sales they had going. The clearance section didn't disappoint either. The store was also very well organized. I defy you to tell the difference between a JC Penney and a Kohl's…read more They're both laid out the same. They both have similar markup to markdown merchandise and zero help. One notable difference is that there's Kohl's cash to help ease the pain. JC doesn't even give up a Penney. And when you find a live human that could help, they avoid eye contact. If you do manage to make contact, they give nonsensical answers to straightforward questions, like "What sizes do you stock in men's suits?" and "Why do certain sizes show online as being in store?" I'm done. I love some of their products but shopping in store is not worth it.

This is my "home target" MY store. All the other targets are great, but this one? This one is my favorite- I know her, I love her. I spend all my time perusing her aisles, ogling items I don't need but will get anyway cause we're at Target and we deserve it! I love the layout of this location, everything flows so cohesively, and I know exactly where everything is. I know which route to walk when I'm with my toddler so I can avoid distractions, I know how to run in real quick when my husband is waiting in the car. I love how this locations will add new items, new shelves, or switch things up but they don't completely flip the store around. The staff is helpful, there's minimal issues with self checkout. Although sometimes the self checkout line doesn't get pretty long and backed up into the walkways it's usually pretty easy to maneuver around. The aisles and shelves are usually fairly neat sometimes the clothing aisles look a little ransacked in the juniors but other than that everything seems clean and stocked. I've only had one less than pleasant experience and that was at customer service with employee June. She was not kind of personable in the slightest. I needed to make a return, I had my receipt, tags, and everything. She must've been having a bad day cause she was nasty.

There were different staff than my last visit and they were so friendly and all carried a smile on their face. I'm sure there is a different management or different more pleasurable team working here as everything looked so organized and maintained.
