One team lead asked me for my identification so they can replace the battery (after 2 hours). When I asked him what was wrong he said they have to charge the battery and retest it. I told him that it was already tested in the other Walmart. He then stated that they were have been notified. I stated I have the report to the cashier. The bakery there at the Walmart on Walzam has always come through for us, and given us great cakes. So when I needed cupcakes to take to my daughter's school I knew where I would get them from. I called them up and ordered over the phone, we discussed that she loved foxes, but they didn't offer a fox design. In the end the associate I talked to said she would place and ice the cupcakes in a shape of a fox. However they went above and beyond that! We got the cupcakes this morning and they are adorable! I was shopping at the Electronics dept. on September 9th 2018; had a run in with Rick one employee that throws temper tantrums when an employee or a customer asks for help. I witness him yelling at the top of his voice, "WHAT"! He turned red and grind his teeth. The incident happen more than once & the employees around him tip toe around him. Elizabeth the supervisor that evening stated she would notify management. I called manager Mark Garza that was in meetings all week. A horrid store to shop at for anyone handicapped. My mother is in need of the motorized shopping cart to get about the store, and each time we go to this Wal-Mart store 70% of the time there are no such carts available. When there is, we are told that we cannot take the cart outside of the store at all, even though I have personally returned and plugged the cart for the store after each usage many times as the door greeters know me and my mother by sight as we are there shopping at least 2 to 3 times a week. There are many people I understand who will not return the carts, much less plug them up for the next customer to be able to use. But the store does have cart pushers and clerks always standing about in front of the store inside and outside who's job it is to do this. Why is Wal-Mart management at this store afraid of telling their clerks to do their job...??? read more

Basically Walmart is Walmart wherever you go. All the Walmart workers really don't have any customer service at all, and when I ask for help nobody ever seems to know where anything is. I do like the self check out that they offer at this location. At the front and there were some Boy Scouts selling little camp cards which I ended up purchasing and I've been here before and there was also soliciting as well. Once again- this store's employees seem to write the company policy in what they will do and not do. Upon entering the store today, the door-greeter (older black lady with reddish hair) wouldn't acknowledge my Hello or Goodmorning to her. Even after stating it twice to ensure she had heard me. Likewise, upon checking out at the self check-out the employee (older white lady with long white-gray hair) there refused to greet me as well... this I can only assume was due to my complaining about their fellow employees at this very store back on 12/20/21 here on Yelp and to the Wal-Mart home office upon their lack of customer service and friendliness. The ONLY two employees to greet me in whole of the store in a friendly manner were Mack (a young black man working as a door greeter as I was leaving... and Anna a young Hispanic Lady CSM [yellow vest] when I passed her way after entering the store). It's sad to see a store how upper management and the Home Office has lost control over their employees in how they are to treat their customers who support all their income. This store does not accept Coupons.com or any printed coupons. Of course they don't tell you until you have reached the the check out. There are no signs stating their policy and the policy is in effect some weeks and on other weeks it isn't. The self checkout machines accept the coupons. The manager stated that they had been "taken" for thousands of dollars and this was his policy. read more

Came to buy a toy for my son and scanned it on the Walmart app and came out to 3.50 .when I was at the register it came out to full price. I told the employee who called for someone else and she scanned it on her phone and she got the same price as I did. She called her manager and he blatantly told me he wouldn't honor the price and that it was a third party price and he just wouldn't. I said that it says it in store price and not a third party and he just yelled loud at me and told his employees that I was trying to buy it at that price so I can sell it for more online. This Walmart is a joke! It's such a bad store that they have to have Windcrest police at the door. My husband and I went there tonight for a pair of shoes. We asked for an associate to help us, and NOBODY showed up. We waited for 10 minutes. Finally, one showed up, and she was as rude and uncaring as she could be. We asked if they had other sizes in the back. She said, "Nope." Then she just walked away, and left us standing there. She acted like she couldn't care less. Last Monday I placed an online photo order for a photo book, for a wedding this Sat. It took to hours to upload and create. The order was supposed to be ready tomorrow. Yesterday, one week after the order, I get an email saying my order was canceled due to a technical issue, and nothing more. Infuriated I called customer service! I had questions! Why did no one call? Why did it take a week, when the wedding is now only 5 days away? Could it have been processed at another location? But all customer service could tell me was that it was canceled due to technical issue processing and since it was canceled, the book I created was GONE! (The gentleman was very pleasant though) I asked to speak to manager of customer service. I explained to her why I was so upset and she sympathized. But my only option now is to recreate the book and order for same day pick up (at a higher cost). Needless to say, I do not trust them to get it done in time. read more

Went there and stood waiting for motorized cart for 20 min. Did get 3 people ask if they could help me. Eye center even offered to let me sit down. One of The sackers followed someone out with one to bring it back for me. As I'm waiting for him two people ride in front of me coming from the pharmacy. First one had one little bag. 2nd one was her daughter about 18 riding one also?? She got up and walked out fine. I knew this Walmart was bad that I didn't realize it was that bad. Yesterday I simply came in to return an item that I did not need to get a refund. So the first person I saw once I got in the door and handled my return request, along with getting my information she must have had a bad day but she kind of raised her voice and said in a rude way why didn't you take it to the Kitty Hawk store? I said kind of jokingly, ..so you can have a job helping me." She came right back , "i already have a job." I held my breath and went on, but is this the kind of customer service you see right when you enter the store?? But i guess this was my mistake, because I knew of bad reviews with this store. Nothing to complain about here- got help looking for a certain item from one the staff/floor managers(?). She actually walked with me to show me where to go when she could have just given me verbal directions & let me fend for myself.
