Bad service they won't help replace my daughters diapers! There is such thing as damage the merchandise & give us a new 1. What are they talking about? Once it's processed, we lost it the supermarket & they consider it a lost. Every1 always leaves stuff behind by the cash register or anywhere else & they're happily to replace it! We forget we're human beings makes mistakes. We should be forgiving & when we spent over $220 in Saugus location! Still don't get help. Hate it. One elevator up and one down, both in the same area, right at the entrance to the parking lot. Bottleneck and firetrap. Black-Friday tragedy waiting to happen. I love Walmart! Especially if they have a grocery section. I popped in to pick up photos I ordered online. There was no one at the counter. And when I went over to the electronics counter to get help, the lady was too busy talking to another employee to help me. When she finally decided to get up and give me my photos, she gave me an attitude and acted like I was bothering her. Umm.. isn't this a part of your job? To actually WORK. Among other things, I bought a discounted sub sandwich. It had a HUGE yellow discount sticker on it. I trusted the cashier would do her job correctly. I went home to realize they charged me full price on it. Not worth the gas and time to come back and get in line to get the price adjusted. The customer service at this store his HORRIBLE! I just left and I am still steaming at all how I was treated. As a manager, my advice to the Store Manager is to provide some customer service training asap. I had 5 store clerks hanging around the register where I was making my return. One of the employees, Robbie was rude to the clerk that was trying to process my return. Robbie kept leaving during the transaction when she needed his assistance. Finally as he started to help another employee while typing in my transaction I asked if he could please just finish my transaction before helping other customers, we were 20 minutes in by now. Marie who seemed to be a supervisor was condescending and rolled her eyes at me. She should not be working in customer service! This entire experience was awful. This Walmart SUCKS when it comes to customer service. Listen, the only way you will get a good experience is first check online what aisle your item is in and go in knowing where to go. Because asking any employee there .....anything at all....well you may have better luck asking another customer smh! This place is awful like awful! I never write reviews about stores but this has to be done. All I wanted was a 4 in 1 trike for my 1 year old boy. They had 4 girl ones on the shelves and I checked online and it said they had the boys ones in stock. So after 20 minutes of locating someone to help me out, I asked if the guy could look in the back for me and he said no I can't he "doesn't do that" and I need to go to customer service and they will be able to get it for me. So now we go to customer service and wait in line for another 20 minutes. Finally get up there and they guy gets all pissy that I wanted him to look something up instead of just doing a return. He comes back in a minute or 2 and scans the code and goes " yeah says we have them in the back" I said "good can I get one" he's says "no I'm to busy right now to check your going to have to get the guy in the department to do that" I'm 2 seconds away from losing it now....and the guy can see that, I said I just did that he told me to come here! So he calls the CSM ( customer service manager ) another unless person....after explaining everything she tells me to go to Electronics and find someone back they will definitely help me out. Walk back there now and find this guy named Hector after explaining myself for the third time he goes on his little handheld and goes "yeah says we have 4" I go " there's none on the shelve" he follows with " oh then that's all we have there will be none in the back" he just was to lazy to go look and they were probably back there...I just walked away I was done.....2 minutes later we saw him carrying a bunch of food and was clearly going to lunch and that's the reason he wasn't giving me the time of day....So I ended up leaving after being there for a hour, took my happy ass across rt1 to Target, they had 4 on the shelves and I was in and out in 10 minutes. I worked in retail for years I know how this stuff works....this place and its employees are untrained and unprofessional and the store is a joke....everything is crammed and tight, no wonder why everyone says this place sucks. I live 5 minutes from here and I will gladly drive right past this and go to the one on 114 cause the 2 places are night and day. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - THE WORST ! I was a BIG FAN of Walmart and ordered everything for my home online and shopped in the store. June 19th I ordered a headboard & checked out as a "guest" as I was at work and did not want to login in with Password. Never got a confirmation e-mail with a tracking number or anything, which was ODD, but after looking in my Bank Account the money was withdrawn so I assumed it ordered. *Requested to have it shipped to Saugus location. Monday the 22nd, I still didn't get anything in the mail. Called Walmart Saugus location Tuesday 23rd, asked to speak to someone for online sales, I get transferred and the phone rang, rang, rang, rang until I got bumped back to customer service center to who continued to send me to the line which infinitely rang, everyone must be REAL busy. I call Walmart Saugus again on Wednesday 24th, Same thing, asked for online sales, more ringing, ringing, ringing, get sent back to queue and I ask the woman to please physically go walk over to the online center and make someone answer the phone, as this has taken 3 days. Someone answers, they look up my information, and she says nothing is in the system yet, but that makes sense because it would not be until the order has actually shipped. I said, Well my pickup day was set to be tomorrow, so wouldn't you think it should be in the system. she said "i don't know, call back tomorrow." YEAH OK So today, the 25th, the day my order is supposed to be ready for pickup, I call general customer service for Walmart. Speak with a man, explain the issue, and same thing he cannot find me anywhere and tells me Walmart does not "allow" people to check out as guests. Well i did .. he said "Are you sure it was Walmart", forgot I was 11 years old. Yes Sir, I am sure. I offered to send a copy of my bank statement showing the withdrawal. He told me to call my bank and dispute it with them. WHY Asked for a supervisor, she was very nice, but too, couldn't find my order. She put me on hold came back and said, Well ma'am we will have your money refunded in 7 business days and the order has been canceled. I said "Wait why? I wanted the headboard?" she said "Well there was something wrong with our online ordering system last week and it was never actually processed, you could buy another one today if you would like" ARE YOU KIDDING ME ? so, had I not called Walmart everyday almost twice a day for the last 5 business days, would I have ever found out my order was "not really placed" was anybody going to reach out to me to let me know I should not be expecting a HEADBOARD to be delivered? and on top of that, I am supposed to wait another week, after had already been waiting a week for my money to be returned because WALMART is having difficulties? First visit this past Saturday morning. Was there at 7:30am to do my monthly errands for household items (paper towels, cleaning supplies, ect). I found the store very clean, very well stocked and there was no waiting for checkout. Granted, my great experience might be because of the hour of my visit, but overall, I was pleased. Your visit will start and end with security making your girlfriend uncomfortable by obviously checking them out like they're a piece of meat. If they go alone, the are not greeted with a "Welcome to Walmart", but instead get a "Damn girl!" while security stares at her butt. When you report it, be sure they are taking it serious because you will be told other people have complained about the same thing but the employee continues to work there... The store is pretty good otherwise. Big, clean (new clean), good size food section. Employees are helpful most of the time. It did take me 30 minutes to get help at jewelry once... Just wanted people to be aware they aren't alone in being harassed so don't be afraid to speak up. read more

This walmart is large and has a full grocery department. There is a limited deli selection. If this deli was to get busy they would be overwhelmed. The gentleman who to s the deli is a nice guy, chatty and accommodating. However the lady working this dept yesterday barely spoke English and it was an incredible task for us to understand each other. This isn't about her being a foreigner it's about having the ability to converse with your customers. My opinion on the matter is that if you are employed here in the US , our official language (English) should be a standard requirement. She was sloooooow which was working my nerves. I just don't think she could handle a busy environment. The rest of this Wal-Mart seems to have much less selection per department. It isn't like the other Super Wal-Mart's I've been in. Also the store is located on the second floor. Its awkward ... You can take an escalator or elevator up and down..yet to g groceries and carriage down requires this "carriage escalator". I haven't even used it because I don't know how to. They have personnel there to help you with this but I'd just as easily use the elevator. No harm no foul. I've seen the carriage escalator get stuck on two different occasions. In a bit she'll, Wal-Mart has very very good prices...this location is closest to me this making it a winner. :) read more

I really like this Walmart. The pharmacy staff is very efficient as well as friendly and helpful. Being able to do food shopping at the same time while picking up other items is advantageous, The only draw back that has been an ongoing and increasing problem is the lack of electric carts for the disabled. This Walmart is Horrible! DO NOT Buy anything online and have it shipped to store. I placed an order on November 29th. It arrived December 3rd at 10:25. I didn't get an arrival email until Thursday. So I decided to go and pick up the tablet that same day around 4pm and apparently they could not find my item. I was there for literally over 2 hours jumping back and forth between employees explaining the situation and no body was any help. I will say there was one very kind young lady named Amanda that I would forever be grateful she actually took the time to try to help. Unfortunately she had no luck finding the item, which I feel would have been found if they hired better employees not little girls that just walk around clueless. Good luck finding a shopping basket - there are about 4 in the entire store. Half the parking spots have a shopping cart parked in them because none of the lazy shoppers can walk 50 feet to return them. Great place for shopping if you live close it's convenient but if you live pretty far and it's crazy busy it's not fun at all. We late night had to get some small things late night and this is the place for that. They are the only place that closes late and has good prices so why not. This Walmart has everything deli bakery and really good selection in food. Since it was late night the overnight stocking crew was ready to start putting everything back on the shelves. Also it was fairly empty so it wasn't that bad, but you do have your occasional immature kids riding around the store with the handicap carts. The staff is super nice but only downside it that they close self check out at night and only have a few registers open for check out. Which could be very annoying do your behind the late night I need everything shopper. But that's late night shopping I guess. read more

I use this store regularly. It's not the worst Walmart I've been to by a long shot. I usually try to get there as soon as they open to avoid the crowds when grocery shopping. The only downside is that I can't park my high top van in the area of the lot that's under the building due to a 8' 2" clearance. I usually park it in the area of the lot that's outside at the side of the building. Not a big inconvenience. If any of you with high vans or RVs plan on stopping by, I recommend going either to the two sides or front lots outside the building. Don't attempt to park under the building unless you're sure you have enough overhead clearance. read more

This store was a disaster when we went there the other day. I'd blame it on the holiday craziness, but I really don't think it has anything to do with that. I'm never looking to be super impressed by Walmart, but this store was a mess. I'm really not trying to be an asshole with this review, but this experience was terrible. My husband, daughter and I went in to look at some Christmas decorations (which there were none, at least none that we could find). When we walked in, my husband and I stopped at the shopping carts to put my one year old daughter into the seat. As we were doing so, an employee pushed the train of carts into me; I turned around and he said "you need to move, I need to move these carts around!" Ok, I understand asking me to move out of the way, but you don't need to drive the damn carts into me! The Walmart "security" person who checks receipts was standing there, saw what happened, did not say anything. I just brushed it off because I didn't want to make a huge deal and we walked around the store--which was messy with stuff on the floor, employees just standing around. Despite all this, the store was pretty crowded. I stopped at the bathroom; each stall in the women's room had something in and/or around the toilet. The first stall had TP all over the floor with what looked to be throw up on it, the second had someone in it so I couldn't see its condition. The third stall also had TP all over the floor, and the inside of the toilet bowl had what looked to be period blood. I chose the fourth stall because it seemed to be the "cleanest." After that, we just left and didn't end up buying anything. Again, I'm not trying to be an asshole, it was 8pm, maybe it's different during the day. I'm never looking to be overly impressed with Walmart, but at least clean the bathrooms and keep your merchandise off the floor. read more

Driving in and out a nightmare. Entrance and exit should have been reversed to make it easier. We parked in back and the store entrance was not marked. When we did find it, it meant walking up many, many cement stairs. We think not. We did find an elevator that opened up to the produce section. The place, being new, was clean. Seemed to be many people "just looking" because one had bananas in her cart and another man a loaf of bread. Not heavy shoppers. We went to the Pharmacy section, where I bought an item that I could not find anywhere else in MA, and the prices in the Pharmacy section seemed to be what CVS-Walgreens would have on sale. This was our first visit to Walmart and most likely our last. I am sure the prices are most reasonable for large families especially for paper products, but Walmart is not for us. read more

... So I purchased a tablet at this Walmart on February 22nd 2018 and it was clearly sold to someone else an then returned and sold to me. I went back last week to try and get an exchange I was told I needed the box. (Defective item) but ok. Then I went back yesterday and they tried to tell me I was over my 15 days when it has only been 12 days. Only one associate went out of his way to help me. The customer service rep said "it's been over the 15days" which it has not. And the older electronic associates said if calling the company does not work I have to get a new tablet because THEY SOLD ME a defective tablet. Never again will I step foot in this Walmart the customer service is shit and there should honestly be some new training done since it's clearly needed. read more

Nothing good to say, and I was excited to see the store open. Cannot believe that Management allowed the layout of the retail section of the store to remain as it is. Robbing Peter to pay Paul, for the sake of having groceries was a bad move. The retail section is nothing less than a maze. I think anyone's first visit to the store would be hard pressed to find their way out if someone were to holler fire. Also, if someone was hesitant to purchase an item and attempted to return to the item after a bit, that task would probably be impossible. I gave this Walmart a second chance, and will not give it a third. Cramped, chaotic, with narrow isles, and no semblance of order. If that's what the overseer was striving for, then the overseer should receive an A plus. Little respect was given to the consumer. Many critical comments made in the elevator! So, it is safe to say that it no just my opinion. Sad to say that it looks like I will be heading to North Reading Walmart or the one on Rte.114 until someone with some respect for the consumer steps in and makes the necessary changes; especially to the traffic flow and extremely cramped isles within the retail department. In my less than humble opinion, it all amounts to a safety hazard that needs to be address asap. So disappointed. LB read more

I ordered a twin mattress online and searched for a store I could pickup today. It showed me the Saugus store which had just opened this year, 2015. I found it HUGE but I liked it. Very clean. The best part was picking up my order at Customer Service. I met the associate named, Colleen, and she was super friendly and very helpful. She made jokes and it was so easy as Ive never used this service before. This store is a little out of my way but I will DEFINENTLY go back! Thanks, Colleen! :) read more
