Put delivery order in for them to put 1 item in 4 bags-REALLY? Like they are scraping every F'g penny they can from their consumers. I think this superstore is going downhill. I do my best to avoid shopping here as I prefer other big stores. Had to come here on my way home. All the self check out lines had issues - so the attendants were busy running around trying to fix them, causing a long wait to buy my one item. I only saw three cashiers on the other lanes and those had lines. I remember it being a lot faster to check out but it looks like they took away a lot of self check out machines. I also don't appreciate they have a checker checking receipts like Costco does. If Walmart as a store is automating their purchasing process, I don't want to feel like I have to be checked to make sure I paid for my things. read more

I try not to shop at Walmart do to past problems...A few weeks ago i went to this Walmart to pick up a few quick items. Didnt want to leave my 5lb Yorkie in the car so i brought him in. I normally dont ever bring him in anywhere but if i do i only hold in my arms. SO, I go in and and the door goon immediately stops me and says i cant have him In there (they know me as i NEVER show my receipt or only show my Costco card). I tell him I see people all the time with their dogs in there. He then asks me if its a service dog. Now im not going to lie about something like that so i tell him no its not and that he will stay in my arm the few minutes im on there and walked off. Shortly after two different goons and an undercover found me and kicked me out of the store. I left without a problem and went to the car to wait for my other person shopping. I let it go because maybe their policy did change like they said which is totally understandable.. Fast forward to today. I havnt been back since that day i was kicked out. While shopping i see 3 dogs in the store. One normal aged and 2 puppies being carried. This upset me. I paid for my items and went to the door goon to find out what changed.There are two doors in Walmart,one of the door goons who kicked me out the last time was at the far door furthest from where i parked. I wanted to go to him but didnt want to walk all the way back down so i went to the closest door goon. I asked why there were dogs in the store when i was kicked out 2 weeks ago. She tells me that they were service dogs. I explained a puppy cant be a service animal as its too young to provide a service. She tells me that they ask and if u say they are they let them in. I told her again that Walmart should know what a service animal is even if u cant ask what the service is for. I told her Im suing Walmart and walked out. At the end of the day Walmart YET AGAIN uses arbitrary policy to discriminate. Remember those past problems i mentioned earlier? Well, on different occasions in the past,i was told id be chased down and brought to the ground if i didnt show receipt, ive been held against my will trying to leave, ive been threated, im constantly followed around the store, and more resent spokane country sherrif along side with loss prevention followed me to my car almost getting to go hands on,he was just about to grab me. If it wasnt for walmart calling it off at the last second as i did nothing wrong my rights would have been violated. Ive been able to over look these many well documented issues, but not this time. Today I am happy to announce I WILL Be Filing Suit against walmart for the many provable instances of discrimination. Enough is enough. read more

This review would be 1 star if it weren't for the amazing customer service lady I spoke to on the phone after the incident. I normally shop at Safeway, where they have plastic bags for 8 cents, but the 8 cent fee is waived if you're on EBT, which I am. Walmart has fully done away with plastic bags due to the bag ban, which I fully support, but there still needs to be a system for people who can't buy reusable bags, wether that's plastic bags that you can get upon request or waiving the fee of the reusable bag for EBT users. Anyway, I went to the woman running self check out and asked if they have any plastic bags anywhere and explained that I'm on EBT and can't buy a reusable bag. She said that they don't, and there was nothing she could do for me, so I asked for a manager who might be able to waive the bag fee for me or even get me a garbage bag/empty box that they might have lying around. She refused to get me a manager and kept repeating that they can't give me a bag. Kept begging her for a manager, and she kept refusing, so I finally turned to two other employees who were nearby and asked them if they could get a manager for me, which caused the woman I was speaking to initially to yell "WE CANT GIVE YOU A BAG" which is when I finally retaliated and yelled back "I'm just asking for a f***ing manager at this point." The other employee went and got a manager for me, and I explained the situation to them to the best of my ability (was fully in tears by this point) and the manager went and found an empty produce box that I could use and helped me pack my stuff into the box. I sat in my car for a while to cool down before deciding to call to file a report, and the woman I spoke to on the phone was an angel. She said that she thought they had a system in place for this specific instance (EBT users not being able to afford bags). She was trying to help me calm down because I was still crying, and she said she knew exactly who I was talking about and that this wasn't the first time that something similar has happened with that same employee. She informed me that she would be talked to and ended the call with genuine concern for me and my well being. I was never trying to get anyone in trouble by asking for a manager in the first place, I was just hoping that they might have some way to over ride the fee for EBT users, or at the very least, a garbage bag or box I could use. I am the last person to lash out on a minimum wage employee, so I don't think it was fair to be treated the way I was. 10/10 for the customer service woman I spoke to, 0/10 for the self check out employee. read more

This is the biggest Walmart I've been to in years. Wow, toys, housewares, clothes, electronics, hardware, food! Not as many boardgames as Target but lots of other toys. We bought some of everything. It's a one stop shop for all your needs. We'll staffed and I could get my questions answered about merchandise. Friendly too and checkout was quick for all the shoppers there. Great store that is well stocked and more importantly well staffed, who seemed happy to be there, like us! read more

I'm a pretty staunch defender of Walmart in general, but things have been sliding downhill here for the past year+ and it looks like Walmart as an organization is committed to going down a road that favors online ordering and more automation. 1.) They've ripped out the majority of lanes with actual cashier's, and replaced the whole checkout area with 80% self-checkout. The ratio of staff to self-checkout lanes used to be maybe 1 to 6, but now it's 1 to 10-12. Help is harder to get and you'll wait longer for it. 2.) Online ordering carts crowd the aisles and it's getting harder to get around and grab what you need. Much of the time these big metal carts are parked right in front of what you want while the attendant is a full aisle down looking for something. I love that Walmart does a lot of hiring and has a relatively low bar screening applicants , but I think more training here for how to co-exist with traditional shoppers would be helpful. 3.) Common items are not kept in stock and the shelves can be an absolute riotous mess. The messiness of Walmart shelves has been noted since time immemorial, but ostensible supply chain issues have made it a crap shoot trying to get your hands on common essentials. A couple examples come to mind like skim milk and dark brown sugar. You just can't count on Walmart being the "go-to" anymore for damn near everything. read more

Clueless clerks and empty shelves, major reasons I used to avoid the place, are now joined by a plethera of alternatives now that I have relocated. Target, WinCo, Big Lots, Super1Foods and my old standby Safeway are all within 15-20 minutes drive of the house. I know that Walmart is a cheaper store, but they really went low budget when they constructed this one. They just sealed bare concrete for a floor. Also, considering how new this store is, they must not hardly clean the bathrooms because they frequently smell like old, unclean bathrooms in a really old building rather than one built within the last five years. Grocery area, especially vegetables, what a mess. Very often put of basic things, stuff they do have in questionable shape. Other parts of the store very frequently need stock neatened up, especially in the clothing area. Thinking they may not have enough employees to keep this place adequately ordered. Not knocking the employees at all because when ever I come here, they are always busy. My gripes are directed at the management of this store. I am not a big fan of this walmart location. I always have issues here for some reason, and the staff really don't seem to care. Once again I visited here because I was in the area, and once again left dissapointed. NEVER dissapointing are the people watching opportunities here though! You have to hand it to them though.... I have been subscribed for a few months to their grocery delivery service. I've had nothing but issues with walmart delivery. There has never been same day service much less delivery in an hour as they so often advertise. Items available when ordered are missing from the order when delivered cited as 'not available'. And thats been with all but few orders. I even recently had a $20 charge to my bank I have no clue what it is for. But when I call, I get someone in the Philippines. Why is an American company giving these jobs to out of country call centers?! I dont want to financially support that. I've not gotten that refunded because they can't find the receipt on their end. Atm Im waiting for a delivery that was scheduled to be delivered an hour ago. The website is sitting on 'preparing'. When I called the store direct a young man said his team manager was on break and needed to call me back because he doesn't know. Its been an hour and Im still waiting for the team leader that was on a 30 minute break. I am autoimmune with a chronic fatigue condition. I can't just run out and get much needed items. I can no longer count on much less trust this service. read more

Terrible, horrible employees there. They won't move out of your way when you're walking, rather than just moving out of your way you need to move out of theirs. They act as if you are not even there. If you are looking through something he/she will just go right in front of you and do what they "need" to putting things on shelves, racks, etc. When it's time to checkout, whatever happened to hello? hi? Or screw you? Please, acknowledge someone's there. I'm also extremely disappointed with your "produce" if that's what you can call it. As if there was another reason to dislike Walmart, I unfortunately I have another. They used to be that deposit a check cost $3.74. Now they also charge you a four dollar fee to cash the check before you deposit it whether or not you get any cash back. So they've doubled the price or depositing a check. In this case the check was for $160. So instead of paying 2 1/2% of the value to cash it now it's up to 5%. Leave it to Walmart to find a way to screw the poor even more. read more

This is a relatively good Walmart, always pretty clean. The people who go are interesting to watch at times...it's right off of Sprague so I'm sure most of you can imagine the crowd. I've been doing their free grocery pickup service and it has been amazing. No time spend wandering around the store, you can use their grocery app to order what you need and most of the time you can pick it up the next day (same day every once in a while if you're lucky). read more

I wouldn't even leave a 1 star review for this store. I witnessed racism and am very appalled by what I seen at this store. Here we are in the this world fighting for equality for all and then you see this. I saw a young girl( possibly Hispanic) and assuming with her family purchasing some items in the self checkout. She asked the worker for a bag ( guess there is a bag shortage). Meanwhile the Walmart worker Janelle told her no, that there was a bag shortage. The young girl started putting her stuff in her cart. I watched the worker Janelle come up to me and ask me if I wanted a bag and several other Caucasian people around me all while this young girl was told no. I only had four items I didn't even need or want a bag. The other guy had several plants that she offered a bag too. I even saw a man putting beer in to a bag that had several bags stuck to it yet he wasn't questioned. This young girl was being glared at and basically harassed by the worker all because she asked for a bag. Why was this worker so mean to this young girl and why? I hope the managers at the Sprague Walmart check their cameras and see the poor customer service their staff is providing to their customers. This happened today at 6/12/2022 at around 4:30. I will not be going back to this particular Walmart as I am offended for this young girl being treated poorly. read more

Wow tore my muscle and was in the drive cart waiting for my boyfriend to go thru line to pay i had two prescription bags in my cart and a bottle water. Everyone knows we you have to pay for your prescription at pharmacy... This guy asked to see my receipt!!! I may be wearing a boot on my leg but I'm in a 200.00 wool dress jacket and nice everything as well as put together. Being accused of shoplifting a prescription and a water bottle was terrible and very demoralizing on top of I'm in a handicapped drive cart.. he didn't check the next couple they had items not in bags.
