Wow tore my muscle and was in the drive cart waiting for my boyfriend to go thru line to pay i had two prescription bags in my cart and a bottle water. Everyone knows we you have to pay for your prescription at pharmacy... This guy asked to see my receipt!!! I may be wearing a boot on my leg but I'm in a 200.00 wool dress jacket and nice everything as well as put together. Being accused of shoplifting a prescription and a water bottle was terrible and very demoralizing on top of I'm in a handicapped drive cart.. he didn't check the next couple they had items not in bags. Good lord people. It's Walmart. You don't shop at Walmart for excellent customer service or for fast checkouts. You shop there to save money. Heck if it's that bad, and you just cannot bring yourself to shop at this store, drive 15 minutes any direction and you'll find 10 more Walmart to shop from. If you need excellent service, find somewhere else to shop, but you'll end up paying more. Or, you'll get you customer service someplace else, price shop it, and end up buying it from Walmart in the end anyway. And that's lame to do. There are a lot of smaller store out there that would love your business and $$, just don't use them for their customer service and buy from somewhere else. Watch gonna do now? read more

When I walk threw the entrance I felt like I was being molested, by a den master from the scouts... Very negative vibes threw out each Isle as I weaved threw the motorized carts.. Of course with Walmart low prices I had to finish my shopping, but on the way home all I could hear was crying children. So I threw away my groceries and the crying stopped... Though I understand that Walmart is a store that is for saving money. I do not think that normal service standards should be excused because of it. It doesn't matter what Walmart I go to, every single time, the employees are not interested in helping me find anything. The check out employees are usually talking about the break that they are getting ready to take. Would it be so hard to engage in conversation with your customer for the 3 minutes that you are ringing up their items? Or maybe say hello? A little effort goes a long way. I avoid Walmart as often as I possibly can. I would rather pay more than contribute to a company that clearly doesn't provide their employees a reason to do their best every day. read more

Its not bad its clean. But some interesting characters that come to this walmart. The pharmacy people are unhelpful and kind of rude.

This is my favorite Wal Mart in Spokane/Spokane Valley. Besides being new with updated technologies, everything is pretty similar to the standard Wal Mart (aka merchandise, prices, service, questionable characters walking around). It gets four stars because it's new and pretty clean, the bathrooms are nice and roomy, and the freezer section has timers on its lights to save energy, which I love seeing. I needed a bigger baby gate for our puppy and did not want to wait for amazon. Wal-Mart.com had one " in stock pick up today" at the one down the road from my work. I go there and find it but it is $45 and not the $36 as advertised online. I ask a lady in the area and she said that I had to buy online to get that price and I had to talk to the online department. They had a funny sign that said "5 min or less service" after waiting another 15 min the lady to help me, she informed me that they were done Doing online orders for the day and I would have to wait until the next day to buy the item in my shopping cart for the online price. I still got it for $44 because I need it but man what a joke read more

I went to this Walmart with my daughter a few days ago and she asked me if we could look at some fake eye lashes so I said yes and thought maybe we could both get some to try out together. Some of the lashes had locks on them that require an employee to unlock them so I had to walk all the way back to the front to where I found an employee working the self check out area and ask her if she could get me some help in cosmetics, she was very friendly and paged someone, so me and my daughter went back to the eye lashes and waited for an associate (who never showed up). My question is that if you (Walmart) have items on locks, preventing customers from being able to purchase them, why not have an associate working in that dept for the people who do need assistance with these items rather than them having to search the store for assistance? Because of this, you lost what could have been over a $20 sale. If you're going to lock up your items that are for sale, then there should be an associate there at all times for when someone does want to purchase something. This isn't the first time this has happened to me at this Walmart. When I look to find an associate for assistance, I have to end up walking to the front of the store to where an associate is working a register and ask them for help. This is very poor customer service. A customer should not have to walk the store searching for an employee to assist them (and still possibly get no help). If you're going to lock away your items that are for sale, then you need to work on your covering enough employees for the store so that customers DO get taken care of. Because of the lack of f***s given at this Walmart, they will continue to lose sales, such as my sale that day. This is my absolute very least favorite Walmart in Spokane. Poor, poor service! On another note.. Watch your receipts! I can't tell you how many times this Walmart has advertised one price but charged a different price. It's very frustrating to have to go to the return counter to get your change back because they have improperly marked their price tags!! read more

The store greeter, has evolved into store security, where everyone is guilty of shoplifting until proven innocent. I bought a coffee maker. The register was not far from the greeter by the door. He saw me in line paying for it, but he walks up to me and asked to see my receipt anyway. Yesterday I had 4 bags of grocery, but my quart of milk wasn't in a bag. She asked to see my receipt because it wasn't in a bag. Who bags milk, seriously? Why would I want to continue to shop at a place that harasses me at the door every time I visit. Where's the stickers, the smiles, and friendly directions I might need? Now it's where's your receipt? I'll just go someplace else, since they're not the cheapest store anymore on prices. read more

I like this Walmart. It's clean and a convenient location. Yes, they have someone at the door checking receipts, but they wouldn't have to if there weren't so many people stealing and btw I've been seeing this at other walmarts too. As far as people complaining about the way they how about treated; I've never experienced that. And how about treating the employees better too. I'm sure it gets old to them being treated like they are beneath, or less than the customers. read more

This is the cleanest Walmart in the city and you will find that its nicer to shop at because of the cleaner looking people as well.

Worst customer service I've experienced in greater Spokane. Employees everywhere, help nowhere. I asked 5 different employees within 20 feet of each other if there was another ( I had one in my cart ) bookcase in stock. 3 sent me on a wild and unproductive goose chase to different corners of the store. One told me "wait here" and then walked into the magazine aisle and started flipping through Maxim. Yes I could see him the whole time! Only one employee took the tag off the box, walked three feet to a scanner gun, and told me there were no more in stock, and he did this, in under thirty seconds while staring at my boobs. He gets one star. Everything about these employees is pitiful. I bought 7 different bookcases. I asked for help pushing them and loading them in my car. They sent me a small Asian woman. I'm tiny, she was the size of my seven year old. I asked for someone of a more appropriate stature. They sent a young strapping man who could easily be cast as a young Greek God. I stepped away from my 100 plus pound cart. He looked at me in all seriousness and said "that looks heavy, where's your car?" Then walked out the front doors into the parking lot. At this point, I was speechless so pushed my cart myself, with all my might to my car at literally a 5 inch per minute full effort plus pace. The young muscular man saw my plight and remarked, "boy that is a lot of work! I'm glad I'm not you!" I started to fear at this point evolution had put all of its beans in one brawny basket with this young man and none in his very hollow and cavernous brain basket. It became very clear very quickly this was why he was employed at Walmart. He walked, very slowly beside me to my car, then in all sweetness said, " have a nice day!" And walked back into Walmart. I stood at my car, full cart of bookcases I could barely pick up, jaw hanging open and brain burning with"WTF was that?" I loaded my car, threw out my back, farted twice and went on my way. Never again Walmart, never again. read more

Terrible customer service. Management is not helpful either so why would their employees try to be helpful. Bought an item online and one of the employees marked it as ready to pick up, but item was not actually there yet. Took more than 14 days for store to receive item so item was automatically refunded. When called and asked, they said "Whoops, the girl who marked it as here kind messed it up." Walmarts a great place for saving money, but I would rather drive a little out of my way to go to another one! read more

good store, very busy, but it has a lot to offer, I enjoy it is open 24 hours so I can go late night and not have to deal with the crowd. Employees are always helpful. Rob is always there working nights, always a help :) read more
