I like to go to this Walmart because it is very close to my house and my experiences are mostly good. Terrible. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a Walmart, and the employees were very rude especially the old lady in electronics. She's always givens us issues but today we purchased a brand new Ethernet cable took it home and unwrapped it and it was all cut and crappy in the middle. We immediately took it back and they accused us of bringing in an old cable and even brought up the footage saying oh well it looks fine here this isn't the same one. So of course since they couldn't see the middle of it on the cord they accused of being in and old one. And they didn't even let us get a refund. Came in for a basic oil change... 3 employees for one/ per vehicle.. Jiffy lube in/out in 15 mins top.. 16 mins if slow.. and that's one guy under, the other guy to do above ground work.... HERE AT WALMART... 3 guys per vehicle.. 30-45 mins each car... LOTS of stand around, zero urgency and "we get paid by the hour" mentality... all while other customers come in to ask a question, while your vehicle sits, and all 3 go talk to that one customer adding 15 more mins to the time read more

Interesting I gave the stars posted the photos, but then didn't finish writing not sure what to say-- the pictures pretty much say it all, beside I had no words SMH‼-- now However in the time since I ousted my stars it has been interesting as I have bummed in to friends or acquaintances and friends of family--so interesting that they have just returned from this same store and knowingly stared just verbally unloading their disgust of their local Walmart-- that being said they are all people who have within the past 3/5 years have moved into this area and thus have experienced far better Walmarts. I received a receipt for $45.18 but the items/taxes totaled just $35.18. When I went to Customer Service they looked up the receipt and told me that one item didn't print on the receipt. I asked "the manager" if I could get a copy of the receipt that matched the amount charged but was told, quite rudely, that it was impossible since she would have to look through thousands of receipts. I reminded her that she had just looked it up but she still refused to provide it, informing me that no other manager worked on Saturday so I was out of luck unless I wanted to leave the receipt and my information with her, she might get to it. If you dealt with Chad, you would know exactly who he was. Name not even necessary. At Walmart, I always spend a lot of time in electronics. The first time I met him, and every time there after, I was always in awe by his super friendliness. Every time I went to electronics, I always looked for him. He was just so much fun to deal with. Everyone else in the store were just employees of Walmart, but Chad was the upbeat guy to deal with. Chad sold me just about everything that I have bought from the electronics department. I just loved that dude. When I did not see him in electronics, it was kinda like.. Oh, it must be his day off. sad face. Then one day, I saw him in the self check out area. I was kinda confused. I wondered why he was up front, and not in the back.. hmmm Now I hear that they let Chad go? This is heart breaking... I'ts a major loss for Walmart. However, I hear that he's got a new job working for Harmons in Draper. That store does not have an electronics department, but I need to start shopping there, just to see that dude. This is my "secondary" Walmart location. Whenever I can't find something at my regular spot, I'm usually able to find it here. That's the only reason I'm willing to give it even the minimum one star. Sat waiting for 15 minutes at curbside pickup today. There were zero other vehicles waiting when I arrived- but 3 came, got their order and left while I waited. It was two freaking bags. It should not have taken that long and I should have been served first since I was there first, almost a solid five minutes before anyone else got there. If it wasn't for the fact that this is apparently the only location in the area that carries the four pack of Reign orange dreamsicle, I wouldn't ever come here because the pickup experience sucks EVERY single time. read more

This location is large and looks like it was remodeled at some point - and as most Walmarts are - very crowded. It does the job, and is better than some other locations I've been to. One grievance I have - in attempts to make the parking situation "better", or to fit more cars in, they have diagonal parking with single lane, one way only parking rows. I came this place often because they are closer to my work. I have no issue so far, but most employees are rude. Only Chad are amazing employment, he made me so much smile, happy, and laugh. I'm suprised there are no reviews for this Walmart. Perhaps everyone is just embarrassed to admit that they shop here... I don't know. To be honest I really dislike shopping at Walmart--their stores are usually crowded, messy and unorganized, not very clean, and the checkout lines are usually long. But having said all that it's hard to beat Walmart on price and selection. Supercenters like this are also a great one-stop shop when you need a gallon of milk or a gallon of paint. You can't beat Walmart's HUGE inventory and low prices. So even if I usually try and shop elsewhere I do go to Walmart occasionally for the selection and low prices. read more

Where do I start?! I feel like I can't escape Walmart. It's a bad monopoly who in return treats their employees like as well as treating their customers like . It's crazy what $$ and power does. All Walmart stores are still essentially the same, some are cleaner, others are dirty and stinky but that is due to their geographical location. The one thing that I is blatantly obvious at each location your treated like just like the employees. I have to frequent this Walmart BUT ONLY for items that are not meat, veggies, fruit, and Dairy. This Walmart produce that is old, I've seen meat that is green and it's obvious they put sticker over stickers on the packaging. I wouldn't put it past an employee to take meat and put it back into the meat storage bins that they found on various isles across the store. On occasion I'll pick up some boxed or canned food I haven't had any surprises there. This Walmart, attracts the wrong sorts of people, drug deals happen in the parking lot in broad daylight. The managers are lazy, they are rude and have an attitude as they feel superior over others. Just this past Sunday 10/10/2021, my husband and I were walking back up from the back of the shoe isle (adjacent to the electronics) behind us is the employee doors where they access their lunch room/locker room and also product is brought through that area.. anyways this Manager (I would expect him to be as he had a CRM manager tag too bad I didn't see the name tag) but he was in his late 30s to mid 40s and he had brown hair short and groomed with grey hairs scattered throughout well he comes down the walk way ok his cell phone talking loudly and very rudely "trying to assert his superior manly attitude" and he's on the phone with a. Employee and he was loud! "Well I don't care about your home issues, or if your having an emergency, if you don't get your sorry self here immediately to work your shift you are fired!!!!" Professional? No. This is a great example, he proved this is a reoccurring behavior across all Walmarts in the US. Don't agree? Walmart?? Check TikTok because your executives with a blue verified check mark are all over that app but when you're criticized for your blatant disregard of unprofessional, unethical behaviors are publicly filmed!!! You ignore it rather than changing how you treat your employees. Now when it comes to the treatment of customers, it's by your employees and do you know why? Because you treat them like so why treat the customers good? Closing down all of your cash registers is a stupid move, this store can be slammed packed you have 2 registers open and the self checkout stands at either end of the store have lines of people all the way back to the back of the F'N store literally to the back. It's disgusting, lol and to make everything worse you have door greeters treat you like a criminal because they had to check out themselves. Ahhh maybe rethink your business plan because it might work for you $$$$$$$$ and allows you to hire less people for 25-30 hours a week to avoid paying healthcare. read more

Walmart tends to be one of those places many of us seem to begrudgingly end up at, and certainly if I let my inner snob control me you would probably not find me visiting one. But the reality is, however much I say I'm not going to go to Walmart I still seem to end up there because ultimately they have pretty much everything you would ever need at decent prices and it's hard to go more than 5 blocks without coming across one. That latter point certainly was the case here. This is not my "local" Walmart, it was just the one that was closest at the time. In comparison this one seemed a little rundown and in need of some TLC, but it provided what I needed at the same low cost so I can't really complain too much. At the end of the day, I think most who shop Walmart know what the chain is good for and the things to avoid. If you don't - well you'll probably still get a bargain and be happy; but if it helps, avoid produce and anything non-name brand, and be careful if you're buying electronics (match model #'s exactly if you're comparing prices and features to similar elsewhere). read more

This Walmart is always one I avoid because it's always cramped and messy. There's one in west valley just down 6200 S that's much better and I go out of my way to go there instead. I never left a review on this store because I work in retail and like to think of myself as understanding, but I just can't believe how bad my experience today was and I don't think this store even deserves 3 stars anyways. My sister left her wallet at the store the other day at self-checkout, so I called perhaps wondering if maybe some employee happened to be attentive and grab the wallet and keep it safe. I'm on hold for 5 minutes and a girl with an attitude picks up the phone. I ask her about a wallet and she immediately says to call customer service instead and redirects me in the middle of my sentence (which was thank you) I'm on hold again for 30 minutes until I decide to hang up. I call back the original number and after being on hold for another 5 minutes someone picks up the phone and immediately hangs up. Wow. I've never seen anything like this before, maybe they hung up accidentally. Try again, the same thing happens. I'm pissed and I can't believe that anyone is able to keep a job anywhere with this kind of attitude (lazy, rude, and inattentive). This just says something about the kind of environment there, and probably the management who lets them stay. Avoid this store and go somewhere else. read more

There is never anyone around to help. I have had to call the store while being in the store just to get someone over to the cosmetic section to open the case. And not only did I had to call once I had to call three times because no one was coming and they even page some one overhead on the intercom and still nothing. I've gone there one time and they supposedly lost the key to even open it. The workers are the most laziest workers I've ever seen. The only good employee there is the nice guy at the self check out who always makes me feel like I'm the most important customer there each and every single time and he helps to keep the line moving, wish I knew his name. A pretty good Walmart as far as they go. I come here for a few select items whose prices can't be matched elsewhere. The Yelp mafia will crucify me with "funny" votes for this, but Walmarts can also have some decent produce. 50 cent avacados? Yes please. Poblanos? Serranos? Japalenos? Ci. In fact, my experience with Walmart produce puts them on equal footing with some Smiths locations, and much better than the crappier Smiths'. There are downsides to Walmart. The lines are usually long and slow-moving, and this location is no exception. There is inevitably someone ahead of you trying to turn EBT into cash, or arguing over coupons blah blah blah. He treated my son very kindly and made him feel important and answered every question which helped him find the right x box one paddle. Totally deserves employee of ther month and a fat raise. I came here for a couple items and a refill of propane. When I purchased the "tank exchange" I expected to be helped. I was told someone would meet me at the tanks. I waited for almost 15 minutes before going in and tracking down someone to help me. I was told someone would be right there. another 8 minutes went by with no help. Finally I went to customer service and complained. They sent someone walking out there with me, and while doing so, the lady looked at my receipt and asked me if I already exchanged and am trying to cheat them, because I paid for it a half hour ago. I am appalled at the customer service of this store and will happily drive to the store on 5600 west, even though I live around the corner. read more

Walmart tire and lube is the worst place to go! They do not know how to work their system! The guy said 1 hour and when we went to checked another one said 45 minutes! The man later came and said I told you 2-3 hours. Every car after us they put in! We were first then these three other cars and they put them in first. I would not recommend going here.
