It's Walmart. Take all your preconceived notions and come on inside. Oh hey, it isn't THAT bad. Seriously though, it's not that bad. This Walmart is clean, and, for the most part, so are the people inside. The employees are nice and helpful, and the checkout lines are usually pretty short. They had a bunch of water leaks in the ceiling over the winter, but they seem to be mostly fixed up now. It's honestly not that bad. Multiple times I was accused of shoplifting of which I proved them absolutely wrong, the self checkout machine ate my money (over $150) and was called a liar by the Loss prevention even after I said how much and the exact order of each bill of which was exactly what the mod pulled from it. I was profiled by my clothing every time because I wear hoodies which I do for personal reasons that caused me ptsd. read more

Update January 2018 - I like to shop later, less people, and it's just easier for me personally to be able to go through and process what I need to get done. With that being said Walmart has made some improvements over the last few years, A BIG ONE being keeping their self checkouts open late so they don't get backed up. Well this Walmart must have been having a bad night (but it's seems that way every time I come to this one), when I first got there a message came garbled over the loud speaker and all I could hear was "closing for the day, thank you for shopping at Walmart" I ignored it the 1st Time, but then when the message came again and a man asked me if the store was closing. I said no I thought it was open 24hrs, but I TOO thought the garbled message said that, we went & asked a woman stocking selves and she asked, did you pay attention on your way in? I told her, I've been here before but we were both having trouble making out what the message over the loudspeaker said. She told us, they never close early and they weren't starting tonight! I tried apologizing, but she was already turned around talking to her co-worker. The gentleman I was talking too apologized to me, and told me to have a good night. Well I went about my shopping and I'm just saying there WAS A LOT OF EMPLOYEES on the floor goofing off, stuff like that. I don't care. But one thing I did think tonight is that there seemed to be MORE than usual. So I go to check out. ONE LINE IS OPEN AND ITS LIKE 7 CUSTOMERS DEEP! Multiple people complained about the wait, and one other person including myself said something about not having the self checkouts open, they usually do. No one was being rude we were waiting for 30 minuets, we bonded! People tend to find long lost friends at Walmart waiting in lines! Well the girl checking us out (BTW there was 2 other women standing RIGHT THERE DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BUT LAUGHING AND WATCHING) then told everyone in line that the self checkouts couldn't be open because they were short handed! Then I'm sad to say, it's wasn't so friendly anymore. Apparently I wasn't the only one who thought there was more people than normal working tonight. And a couple in line told the girls that, actually told them, "we aren't stupid, we see you in your Walmart vests, we know the difference between an employee and a customer, it's just to bad your all to lazy to take care of your customers!" OH MAN! I will admit awkward silence . . . The couple who had a grocery cart full of stuff asked the other two girls if they were on break? No they were not, ok were they trained to be cashiers? Yes they were. WHY THE H3!! ARE YOU STANDING THERE LAUGHING AND WATCHING? WHY AREN'T YOU CHECKING CUSTOMERS OUT? Everyone in line was just watching from the couple back to the woman, someone must have called security bcs a police officer or Walmart cop, or security officer then came up and told the couple THEY HAD TO LEAVE! What the heck? They left, but everything they said was 100% true! After this experience I will NOT BE COMING BACK TO THIS WALMART. That's not the way to treat customers. The employees didn't want to do their job, so instead have customers escorted out! WOW, that was definitely a First for me! Hope this Walmart is aware of their employees work ethics! I only come here when I absolutely need to. Kinda shady here, this Walmart is a bit of a cluster, so unless you have been here it's a little hard to find thing's. Really bad experience here after purchasing expired beer, 2 months expired in fact. Shocked that Walmart stocks expired stuff in the first place. This was the apocalypse IPA in particular. When we realized we were drinking expired beer we marched back here and simply wanted to exchange for an equal priced beer. The manager, Sabrina gave us a spiel about not exchanging due to it being open. Are you kidding me? I trusted your store and didn't think I'd ever have to check labels for expiry dates, the only reason I even noticed was after opening box. This Walmart is seriously getting out of hand. Making the make up section to where you have to pay for any items you picked up there before you can leave. Without a option for a printed receipt. If you want to pay for something there you have to give them your cell phone number to text it to you. Or you can carry your items around in a plastic locked container. Also at the check out the person in front of me got a item from the front alcohol section and the lady was walking the bottle over to the man but looked like she needed to set it down so the customer tried to help her, she decided to walk around the cashier to set it down. I get if he was far away from the register to where he could leave with it, but he was standing at the register checking out his full cart of groceries. Where would he run to? Could they EVER open enough checkout lines??? There's constantly staff just pacing the front of the store, meanwhile checkout lines are packed back to the jewelry center. I could spend 5-10 minutes shopping and not leave for another 20-30 minutes because I'm waiting in line. And don't even get me started on the Petri dish of germs and garbage they call the bathrooms. TLE has really gone down hill. It took 2hr for them to finish my car. I bought the full service package. They did not vacuum and there was oil all over the inside of my car. Oil, on my seats, steering wheel, some on my dash and my door. This is the third time this has happened and I am finished with this Wal-Mart TLE. Walmart literarily lives up to its trash stereo type, bought some beer that was expired, came back and asked if they can exchange it for a fresh rack, they denied me because the box was open. I Thought they were a top tier reseller and would exchange just to keep their customers happy, they gave me attitude as if it was my fault for not checking the date. Despite it being beer and not something that's dangerous to consume after expiration, it's more about customer service, trust and looking out for their customers. Auto and tire center was fantastic! I had a window broken due to a theft and they had me back on the road on thanksgiving day! The only reason we shop at this Wal Mart is because we live just around the corner. Otherwise I would not recommend this store to anyone. Never before have I had such a horrible shopping experience till I went to this particular Walmart. First off, why buy Call of Duty advanced warfare thinking I'm going to have a splendid night of gaming on my new computer. Next thing I know I get the the plastic wrapping off of the cassette and find five blank unwritten discs inside. I immediately go back to the store thinking that I might get either a refund or possibly a new game with actual discs inside the casing. I get to the store talk to the customer service attendance and they respond by call Activision because they must of put bad discs in the casing. They also and for me it is against their new store policy to take back bad disks since this has been happening a lot they claim. I ask, may I go back get another game off the shelf open it then purchase it and they said no its against our policy to open the games on the store site. So basically, they told me I'm screwed, talk to somebody else about it. I have kept the useless game discs and the casing and my receipt which incidentally they charged me $52 for when the marked price was $29. I intend to follow up with the better business Bureau of I can get satisfaction. My advice , don't buy anything from Walmart that you can't verify or they won't let you verify. read more

Last week I went to the Auto Center to order a tire for my vehicle because I could not find the particular brand anywhere else. The ordering was simple and easy to do. It took about five minutes and they said it should be in tomorrow morning. They would call when it came in. So I waited....four days later still with no call I drove down there to see if they even had my tire. They did but could not tell me when the tired arrived. I am never going back to get tires or auto work done from Walmart again. It was a horrible experience and the staff seemed rather clueless on the matter. So, I struggle with this. I'm not a fan of Walmart, but my budget and my laziness sometimes win over my concern for sweat shops and the Walton family's growing bank accounts. I never expect much from the employees so I can't be disappointed. Every once in a while there is a stellar employee who blows my mind. I want to say his name was Tarl. It was something creative, but I'm not sure I remember it correctly. He was subject to working black Thurs/Friday. I bought some rather large items. He became my personal assistant hauling large items on the flat cart. He followed me all through the store, hung out with me in aisles while waiting for family members, and all around just a cool dude. I guess he's normally in receiving and never sees the light of day in the store, but somehow got roped into flat cart duty. Man, I'm sure thankful for that! Someone give Tarl a raise! James is great guy! he was stocking goods in the electronics section when we needed help finding an electronics item. Took us to car parts and as it wasn't on the shelf, he checked inventory on his handle device. nothing! he then took us to car parts and found it instantly! really helpful. after he walked away my home decided he need an invertor and called her him back over. he cheerfully helped uts find it even though we were being classic annoyig customers. big ups James! that's biblical! read more

While I've had some discouraging experiences at this store, the experience I had the last time I went shopping was beyond my expectations. I've been waiting for hip and shoulder surgery for quite sometime now from KP so depend on a scooter to do my shopping. Micheal was kind enuf to go to the other entrance and bring one to me. So unexpected! Then upon checking out I was asked if I needed help carrying out my groceries. Don't usually depend on this but was having a bad day of it. Delores (I think this was her name), was kind enuf to help me with my groceries, depositing them, while I waited in my car where it was dry. Did I mention it was raining outside? This Walmart has good service. One time I didnt recieve one of my items in my bag and the staff were eager to help replace it. I come here to buy my essentials...as Sometimes the veggies and floral aren't as fresh. The other thing we go here for is to get simple car maintenance..ie: oil change, replace battery and so on.. I think Walmart train their employees to have bias with Asian people or something. My mom and I always go to Walmart. We are also online customer also. But every single time we come here we haven't get any nice welcome at all. When I checked out I expected you guys to say HI but the cashier kept her head down and checked my stuffs. So I said hi to her first and she said hi with no smile. You know what, she said hi to every single person in front of me except me. Wow appreciated that. Then I walked to the exit security check. The people in front of me were said thank you by the securities, woman and man, and they didn't check their receipt. but when my turn came, she just walked strait away to me so I were in a bad mood now. So what do u want me to think about what happened. Then my mom told me she got this situation as well. Those securities say thank you to everyone except her so she said thank you first and what she got from those two securities were moving their head back and forth. I have been going to this location for years, but I really prefer the 192nd location! The produce in this store is very questionable, and I rather buy it at either Fred Meyer or Safeway.
