Stopped by this store this weekend while on the way to Vegas and had a really great experience. The store was incredibly clean and very well organized, which made it easy and enjoyable to browse. I was also impressed with how friendly and attentive the staff were--several team members checked in to see if I needed help, which I appreciated without ever feeling pressured. Overall the store felt welcoming and well run. Based on my visit, I was honestly surprised to see such low ratings because my experience was nothing but positive. I usually enjoy using Walmart's Scan & Go because it's supposed to make shopping faster and more convenient. Unfortunately, this visit was anything but convenient. I purchased several items that were locked behind a case, so an employee had to unlock them and take them to a register at the front of the store. When I finished scanning the rest of my items and was ready to check out, I asked for the locked items. The employees couldn't find them, and I ended up waiting over 30 minutes while they searched. The whole purpose of Scan & Go is to save customers time, but this experience completely defeated that purpose. Walmart needs a better system for handling locked merchandise so customers aren't left waiting for half an hour just to complete their purchase. It was a frustrating experience that turned what should have been a quick trip into a long and unnecessary delay. read more

I can't put any star for the pharmacy. The pharmacy provides VERY POOR customer service especially to patients who call on the phone. They put their callers on hold as soon as they answer and NEVER come back to take care of them. One female staff said "we're busy so I'm just gonna put you on hold." Would you believe that? I wanted to bring something to your attention that happened today, December 13th, at 7:30 pm at cashier 12. My son was trying to get a toy from that area, and instead of the lady there offering any help, she was really rude to him and to my wife as well. It's honestly disappointing to see someone acting that way, especially in a customer service role. People who aren't grateful for having a job and treat others poorly shouldn't be allowed to keep their position. There are plenty of great people out there looking for work who would actually appreciate the opportunity and do their jobs with respect and kindness. Someone with an attitude like hers clearly doesn't deserve to be there doing something they don't even like. Went to Walmart in hopes of getting a few things & some toiletries but ended up leaving. The Walmart associates that push the cart around as personal shoppers are rude af ! They don't say excuse me & if you ask them a question they act as if you're bothering them. We ran into 1 sales associate by the name of Monica who was real apologetic for the way others she worked with and helped direct me to where I needed to go but by then I was over it & went to my favorite store Target. Was sitting in large empty parking lot next to multiple food chain restaurants(as I normally do and so do other doordashers and tuber drivers) and was bothered and told I could only park here another hour. I understand any issues with the homeless but I'm a working class citizen minding my business on a hot day. This Walmart needs to self evaluate the way they implement security patrol. This is borderline unacceptable. Uber eats also does do delivery with Walmart. So this location needs to be checked and told to not bother innocent people minding their business. If I were some grifter or obvious transient I'd understand but I'm in a location that is busy and where I should be. This occurred 07/19/25 at approximately 7:40 pm. I am not an avid Walmart shopper so leaving this store a one star review vs a -10 is the best I can do. If the employees are only there for a paycheck, maybe they should find what they like and change fields. There are other people that would probably love to work there. It seems as if no one knows their job. No one knows where anything is at, and everybody has an excuse. I always order online for Walmart, Arizona if a family member needs something or they're sick and I can have the Arizona Walmart deliver it to them. Never had an issue. I have now had a delivery three times from Victorville Walmart and every time I use this service everything is screwed up. I would strongly suggest to anyone go with Instacart versus using Walmart to grab your orders and deliver it. that's the only way you will get all of your items or at least contact you if something is out of stock. When I checked the store suggested to pick a replacement item if something is out of stock. Only one item showed 10 in stock. I picked replacements for all. so purchasing 8 items because everyone in My Home is sick. I actually only got two out of eight items, my niece had to end up going to the store for me around 9:30 last night and all of the items that Walmart said they were out of she found them on the shelves. I was to pick-up an order at 3:00, I waited in my car for over 4 hours and they STILL hadn't brought it out, they gave no apology, their one and only response was it's the time of the year! Who ever is responsible for their understaffing should be removed from this responsibility!!! This Walmart by far is the worst one in all of the High Desert when it comes down to customer service and professionalism. When asking an associate for assistance they always have an excuse why they are not able to help you. The only reason why I shop at this location is because it is the nearest one next to my house. This particular visit, I needed some medication that were in lock up and so did 2 other parties waiting for assistance with me. The Walmart employee grabbed what I needed and told me that I needed to pay for these right away and walked me to the register at the pharmacy to pay for the items. I thought that was a bit awkward for him to made sure I paid for it right then and there. The locked case not being out of my eye sights I witnessed the same employee handing the other customers their items and let them walked away taking it with them to continue their shopping. Feeling so DISCRIMINATED against I asked the associate what was the reason that my items had to be paid for immediately his reply was that my items can easily be pocketed and not paid for. read more

This store is really busy! Normally I do not give negative reviews unless substantive. The store employees appeared rushed and pressed for time. Once in a great while, you may notice an employee willing to assist beyond expectations. I have been to this location multiple times, however now looking for an alternative location due to the aforementioned. On a better note, parking is plentiful, and the store in itself is noticeably clean and well stocked. I found it easy to maneuver between isles, as the stocked contents of each isle are clearly marked at both ends. What really bothered me were the elderly folks waiting in line to make use of electric shopping carts. Additionally, those carts were clearly dated and uncomfortable according to a few Seniors I came across within a short period of time. I strongly suggest that the management and staff of this particular Walmart location get their customer service act together, for crying out loud, please update your electronic shopping carts for ease of use by our Seniors and disabled Veterans. I just wanted to write a review and let you guys know at the Victorville location on Palmdale road I was assisted with my pickup order by a wonderful young man named Jordan. My pickup was 9pm to 10pm and I arrived at 955pm and the app wouldn't allow me to set my parking spot. I went into the store and spoke to the associate it was around 1007 at this point. He called someone on his device and they said they clocked out and were headed home. Jordan went out of his way to grab my pickup order and assist me even though the pickup closed a few minutes prior. I live in a rural area and the Walmart is 54 miles from my home. I really appreciated his kind and prompt assistance. I had two orders and he even went back in to grab the second order. He deserves some kind of recognition for his customer service and prompt service. I will return to Walmart and continue to do pick up orders at this location just because of him. read more

Well, the bad thing is if you live in an area that is rural like I do, then at some point you HAVE to shop at Walmart because they have items that other spots just don't. The store is clean and for the most part well organized. Staff overall is friendly- but the wait to get random items that are locked up is infuriating. This trip, almost an hour wait for the energy shot aisle. I have stopped 6 employees and heard the announcement for service in this aisle. It was over an hour before someone helped. They are grossly understaffed or ridiculously poorly managed to have this be an issue not just this time, but almost every time I have to get an item from the locked up items. I understand theft is why they lock certain items up. However, for those of us that pay for premium service and conduct our business honestly, we shouldn't be punished. Why are there so many options to press when you call Walmart but no one ever picks up no matter what department you select? Why do they have an option to connect to the store operator if no one is going to answer the call? Purchased a grocery pick up, followed the steps to get a message No order for pick up. Called Walmart option for I was told to call 1800WALMART. Robot answered and asked for my last 4 numbers of order number. Robot answered back and said my order was ready to go, go on the app. Still would not refresh (it would be easier to send a new text to me). So I get to the store and call the number, to say I'm here and no one is answering the, had to wait like 30min when the call finally gets called. This place is HUGE! Truly they largest Wal-Mart I've ever been to.. And here it sits, in the middle of the desert! The parking lot is HUGE. There are a few rows of covered parking available, which looks like they has solar panels on top. They have a large outdoor gardening area and grocery section. I was only in the store for one thing (infant pool ring) so my mind was not focused on everything. And I was in hurry (on our way you Vegas) so I immediately asked an employee for help. Wow what a great staff. One lady walked with me through the few aisles she thought may still have summer supplies and when that turned up empty she enlisted the help of another employee out on the garden area. We never did find it (school stuff has taken over).. But they are so helpful, friendly and even apologetic. A big kudos to the staff here. read more

There is an employee named Phoenix. He has brownish hair and glasses. He was sweeping the produce area, And there was a lime on the floor he pushed it with the broom and the trash can. He then picked it up and threw it back into the lime bin, for someone to buy!!! Then I saw him do it again with an avocado. He kicked with his dirty freaken shoe and still picked up and put it into the bin. So disgusting. People put the lime inside their beer bottle!!! That is so wrong... and he didn't even care that I was watching him do it. I even said u should throw that away, and nope just ignored me and threw it in the bin. I'm beyond words right now. Updated review: I expected more from Walmart. During this time of wide spread caution, people still need to purchase essential items, for themselves and their families. Walmart should be leading the way in their arena, instead they fail miserably. No eggs, or orange juice; water is half stocked, many shelves are empty with no expected time of restocking. Life goes on! Yes there is a pandemic, yes we all need to be safe, but this is ridiculous! How does unstocked shelves help the community? It means that people will be on the road going to the next store to get eggs, orange juice and basic items. I'm truly disappointed in Walmart. The way that a business acts in a crisis tells a lot. Pretty cool to pass by here and stop in this huge shopping center but even more so inside this walmart which does it's best to stay kept up. I typically only stop in on my way out of town or in for season times visiting friends and family in the HD... grew up nearby here when this was just dessert and dirt. They have a large grocery section and better deals than most in terms of frozen and cold food. The produce is so so. Great place for home and personal goods. Never had any issues here other than wondering in this massive parking lot which does get full around major holidays believe it or not. Best time to shop seems to be at night and on night weekends for sure. There self checkout is oddly set up but has a good amount of room to navigate. Always someone personable to assist. They do close the right entrance after 8 or 9 PM like at Ralph's, Stater's or Vons even though this isn't strictly a grocery store by any means. read more
