Another Perfect example when companies get too big and don't care about there customers. After waiting, 20 minutes for someone to help me, I bought a Propane tank from Walmart and they gave me a empty Tank. I called the store the very next day and spoke to the Manager Fam. He told me that I would have to wait for his Store to do a Audit investigation. Barely speaking any English He called me back again and needed more receipt information. Worst customer service experience ever! Don't bother ordering from online and trying to pick it up at this place because they say they have it but then you get there and suddenly they cannot find it. Always packed. Employees here are never working. Instead, they're on their phones texting, talking and even listen to music. When you ask for help they look at you stupid and tell you someone else will come to help me find what I'm looking for. Lines are always long, and not enough lanes open. Get it together. Go to the Dumfries new store.... One of the older stores in the area, it is JAM PACKED 24/7. You always see the employees talking, but never actually working hard- or even diligently. They will give you wrong aisle numbers. But wait- do not go to the store managers on duty, they do not know how to count. I once brought it multiple coupons and one of the female managers was counting the coupons, and had to start over THREE TIMES when she got passed 6- I took them from her to count them for her. Customer service is typical.. long line. They will return your things, but don't expect a smile or even for them to make eye contact with you. read more

I have had several visits with Dr. Kim in the eye center. He has always been respectful, concerned, and professional. He noted an eye concern and steered us to a specialist, finding my son had a severe eye muscle disorder. He is always pleasant, and unlike Kim F, we are very pleased with his service. If I ever check in to this Potomac Mills Wal-Mart, it is because I was either at Sam's Club or in the area. This location was never good from the start. To start things off, the clientele this place brings in is very shady. It is even shadier than the Potomac Mills Mall. The Prince William County Police are even parked out front of this Wal-Mart, in plain sight. The Police roam the insides and outside arresting people. Inside this Walmart, even with their expansion made a few years ago, is somewhat cramped. Products are poorly placed and poorly taken care of. As depicted in the pictures I posted, they even restock in plain sight. It leads to messy, blocked isles and products on shelves. The staffing here is a bit of a joke. Select few employees are ever on the sales floor and can't speak a language (whether that be English or Spanish). Honestly, I believe they just refuse to interact with Customers. I believe this place is in the running for the worst Wal-Mart in Northern Virginia! What's my recommendation? Just don't come here. For the sake of your safety and sanity! A better Wal-Mart would be anywhere other than here. I recommend the one in Manassas, on Liberia Ave, or the one in Dumfries, along Route One. read more

This WM is a mess, just as others have noted. The employees don't have a clue what is going on and/or they can't understand/speak English. Forget about getting help from anyone. This has been the worst wall Mart that in have ever been to. I can't lie as not all employees are bad there but one cashier was extremely rude to me when I tried using double coupon honestly not knowing that Wal-Mart doesn't double. Instead of telling me that I can't use more than one coupon on one item, she gives it back to me and says "you can't use that" and kept scanning other items. I asked why and she kept saying that its not accepting it. I said please find out and finally someone told me the answer. However she took the larger coupons from me but scanned the small amount coupon and I don't think she did it on purpose but because she was busy not caring. I went back to claim the difference ($3) the next day and this supervisor names CRISSY was beyond rude and honesty treated so bad. I understood it was because of the $3 and it might be petty but I wanted it because that cashier was horrible. CRISSY OR CHRISTY first let me wait 10 min to talk to her while she is helping arrange merchandise at the return center then she walked away from me when I was speaking to her, no one is empowered there or they just don't care. I can tell they don't like their job. I am in the process of writing a letter to corporate office because that supervisor absolutely mistreated me like I was begging. In have time and date they can look at the camera and see how she treated me. It effected me and she embarrassed me next to people so corporate Wal-Mart needs to know. read more

Just visited the Walmart at Potomac Mills and after the remodeling the cosmetic aisles are so small you can't have two people going down at the same time and then to top it off I had to ask a sales person to open up the case that holds $4.98 facial wipes. This is a nightmare there was only one person able to open up the locked case another person was stocking she said she couldn't do it this is a disaster going to happen. The clerk had to go away from the register as she was ringing somebody else it's just not going to work out very well I will gladly shop at CVS and get my cosmetics Or bed bath and beyond where I can use the discount coupon read more

However, the staff will walk right past you or continue doing what they are doing while you are searching for a product and NEVER ask if you need assistance. I hate that about your stores. You need to hire people who can be of service to the customers. People working in customer service should very well know how to serve the client, not just stock freaking shelves. Of course, this is just my two cents, which I'm sure you don't think to mean anything...but wait until people start to notice just how unfriendly the workers are and began to blog about it. This walmart is awesome in comparison to the one in Alexandria. This location is well lit and clean, making for a decent shopping experience. The employees are very friendly and willing to help. They also have a significantly better selection of things than the Alexandria location and no empty shelves. You don't expect a posh shopping experience at Wal-Mart, but even grading on a curve of low expectations, this is the worst Wal-Mart I've ever been to. It's depressing, crowded and stinks. The last time I was in there, and I do mean the very last time I ever go, I was stuck behind a guy from India arguing with the cashier over the price of shampoo like he's haggling back in a market somewhere. If you have a black belt in some martial art, or are at least presenting the right image with lots of muscles and tatoos, you are probably ahead of the risk/benefit curve of going in there after dark. Then store has poor selection. One brand of tortillas and only 2 sizes. Very small selection of meat. Overall most things had little or no selection. Lots of isles open. However NEEDS SECURITY. I went at 5 am and there was an employee sleeping in the aisle, on a bean bag chair with his walmart vest on. Went on a Sunday at 6 pm and the workers were pulling the plats onto the floor blocking the aisles, no excuse me, acted like I, the customer, was in the way.
