Went to this Walmart to exchange a car battery that was under warranty for 5 years. The date for the warranty start is on the battery itself just 3 years ago. Needless to say they said that the battery was from a Walmart location I never went to or even heard of, and was purchased 6 years ago... 3 years before the date that the battery listed it's start date. They wouldn't honor the warranty because their system was incorrect, and told me that there was nothing I could do. Never shopping here again. If you enjoy plastic filth and horrible service I welcome you to this location. If you want quality go to a Target or O'reillys. read more

This Wal-Mart has absolutely no customer service. This is a place for lazy ass employees to come clock in and hang out with their lazy ass co-workers. No employee is there to wotk, just hang out and talk amongst themselves. I had a problem there this past weekend, and I had them call a manager over and she could give two damns about making the customer happy. Oct 10, 2018 approx 5pm. Came to this Walmart this location is complete TRASH! Walking in the parking lot to the store i stepped on a Burger King bag with ketchup in it that squirted on my leg. DISGUSTING! Halloween decorations were already very limited if anything none. They already have shelves stocked with christmas decor. WTH happened to Thanksgiving, Fall, harvest decor? Anyways, we bought some Halloween candy and every line was super long, self check out was ridiculously long, cashiers were visibly not very happy/attitude. I can see this in their mannerisms, facial expressions and body language. They look like teenagers who were forced to work by their parents. This is a great location for a Walmart. It's clean, merchandise are always organized and in place, and of course the prices are very reasonable. Checkout lines can get a bit long, but I feel that is the case wth pretty much every Walmart. I've used their pick up service before where you can make a purchase on their website, and select the Walmart location you want to pick it up from. While this saves you the hassle of looking for what you need, I probably wouldn't use this service again. Line was way too long, and only 1 employee helping. read more

This is a small Walmart, but to be honest, it's better than the one on Normandie. It used to be a Mervyn's, which is why it's small. It's located across the street from the South end of the Del Amo Fashion Center. It's usually not that crowded during the night so I suggest coming around 8-ish. There were no problems at all. Warning to all customers if you're going to be placing an order on walmart.com be very careful what you order if you do order something make sure it's not from a third-party and the reason why I say this is because I purchase something and Walmart sent me to the third degree to get a refund I had to go to three different Walmart stores because neither Wallmark wanted to give me a refund because it was from a third-party they told me I had to contact the third-party to get the refund I did that and the third party they dealt with never got back to me to return the item so I went to the last Walmart and the gentleman that was helping me it took him 30 minutes he tried calling the people himself and could never get no one and there was a lot of other people standing in line trying to get a refund on items they bought from third parties to why I was trying to get my refund it took me absolutely one week to get a refund from Walmart finally they decided to give me a refund on the item I just like to say to Walmart if you're planning on trying to be like Amazon you have a long ways to go it's a lot easier shopping on Amazon buying things and being able to return things then it is with Walmart.com read more

The employees at the return station are so rude and unprofessional! The two ladies at the return station made me go back and forth to the electronic area to the return area when all I wanted was a refund for the game i purchased, and everyone else returning something had no issue there was even a customer that did not have their ID and the same employee that "helped" me said it's okay and proceeded with the return. They didn't even apologize for the inconvenience of going back and fourth They need to have extra customer service training! Since many locations are currently closing this is the closest location to us. Parking is nice and clean. They have enough carts for customers. This is a super-center location they have it all. Think "ship-to-store for free" is a great option for this location? Meh - you get what you pay for. My package arrived on a Thursday at this location, it is still not ready for pick-up by Tuesday! VERDICT: I don't really want to be supporting the company that leaves very little to employee benefits, but the prices... QUALIFIER: This is a relatively new location that replaced a closed Mervyns. This store seems small compared to other Walmarts, but that might keep it more local. FOOD: I never shop here for food, but the produce is decent. I usually find the "fresh" items at other Walmart or Neighborhood Walmart Markets are absolutely disgusting and mold ridden. This store is clean, the people who work here are much friendly then the other stores. We went in here solely for electronics. They have a very small selection of television. The prices were good but they were either gone or never had the size. We also looked at things for the bathroom. They do not have matching shower curtains to go with towels,bathroom rugs, etc.. it's a mess for that. read more

This is the first time I've ever actually "shopped" at a Walmart. I went during the early afternoon, it wasn't overly crowded and it was fairly easy to find what I needed. There was an "associate" on the floor that was very friendly and tremendously helpful, the lady at the self checkout was very friendly and helpful also. All in all a very good first impression. OK. I know this is a Walmart. You have lots of people going in and out. They need more cleaning crews for this volume of people. Floors get dirty. It's a tripping hazard. Next thing you know there's a law suit. People are very nice there. Especially the customers. The parking is too tight. Need more handicap spaces. It's a problem for people who need them. Also the pharmacists are great people. Especially Barbara. She puts in extra time if something needs looking into. A very dedicated, hardworking woman. She is friendly, courteous and likes People! The other ladies and men are nice too. This pharmacy hardly ever makes you wait. You show up and get your medicine. I hate long lines. None here. I like to browse the store looking for bargains. If this place could get less stars, there's no way they would've received the one. I've never seen such a high level of disarray. The problem with this place falls on the appalling behavior of David, the assistant manager. His attitude and actions are what his employees follow. For example: Stacy declined to exchange an item that I showed proof of purchase on, minus the physical receipt. I requested a supervisor to discuss that an even exchange was the only desire. Akeem gave me a runaround and lied about his employment status. He claimed that he had management authority. After this debacle, I waited an additional 20 minutes after the initial unproductive 40 minutes with the hourly staff (Akeem, Esmerelda, Stacy, Isela). I contacted a gentleman from customer service support. The staff continued to ignore all of my requests; an employee by the name of James stood by the door playing on his cell phone. He was bothered by my request to get the manager. After an hour and a half and a phone call with CSS, David appeared with his walkie talkie on his side. He intentionally ignored all of the questions and pages on the device. I will not be returning to this location again. read more

Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced!!! If I could give this place a 0 star rating, I WOULD! I just called this place to find out if they have a certain item in stock and the phone rang for about 2 mins & 45 seconds before anyone could pick up the phone! So the lady who never identified herself or even asked how she could help me finally picked up and I told her what I was looking for and put me on hold again so she can page someone from the electronics department, on hold for about 9 minutes before I finally decided to hang up and call again. The same lady picked up and told me that she paged electronics twice and put me on hold for 6 mins before I just gave up and now I don't even want to do business with them anymore. I've been to this Walmart once before and didn't have a problem. I have a pretty bad taste on their customer service now. There isn't much inventory at this store. It is smaller than many others. Lines are long and very few registers are open at a time. Don't bother with the produce section. It does not look fresh at all! The small appliances are often on sale, but not in stock. Don't waste time in the toy section. You won't find much. read more

Horrible, horrible customer service! I will never shop at Walmart again!! I was waiting in the quick check line for the closest cashier to finish ringing up a family when she waived me on to the cashier who was behind her. I initially did not go to her because she was talking to another employee and I assumed she wasn't open. As I walked up to the register the cashier was on her phone. I waited for her to finish and she began ringing up my items. As she was ringing up my merchandise she began smacking her gum in a rude manner. I ran my card as she was scanning and waited until she finished to tell me the total. Instead, she never said a word and handed me the receipt. I almost felt like the attitude was personal, maybe because I made her work. Not going to support this type of behavior, nor am I going to pay for it. Was near Del Amo Mall so decided to go by to buy some joy cons, got no help whatsoever, when I went to find an employee in the electronics area, all she did was look me up and down, looked at my bag (From Popcornopolis) and told another employee to help me, then continued to chat with her co workers about personal stuff. I ship something from site to store, the email states they're open until 10pm and I have until 2:37pm tomorrow to pick up, at 9:21pm today I walk in to the store and was told by 2 employees that they have closed and the system are shut off yet customers are happily shopping and checking out at the registers, I refuse to leave without my item, the employee tells the supervisor who repeats to me that they're closed, I still refuse to leave so she radios the store manager who instructs them to release my item immediately. I will never that 10 minutes of my life back. I'm only giving one star since I was able to convince them to give me the item that I purchased! The Walmart located here, is the furthest from where I live, so I only come here when I'm visiting my friend in Torrance. The store is pretty big, comparable to other Walmart's I've been to and the parking lot isn't too bad, I've always been able to find a spot to park with no problems I've found items here that I haven't been able to find at other Walmart's, it doesn't seem all Walmart stores are created equally. The downside is the customer service and the overall messiness of this location. Unfriendly employees not willing to give you the time of day. Just plain rude. And the store is disorganized. Richard is AMAZING! Every time I go to Walmart I look for him just so I can say, "Hi". He has a great sense of humor and he also helped me when it came to buying a mini fridge. He took it to my car and after that we became good friends. I think this Walmart is way better than the other one on 190th. This one is more in my neighborhood. this is mainly because of a negative interaction I had with Fat Albert. Yes, a fat hispanic by the name of Albert with facial hair decided to call me "Boss". I told him I don't like being called 'boss' and asked him to leave me alone. I live in Hawthorne so I really don't have many choices of walmarts, this is the newest one in the area . The store is nice and clean usually and he registers usually move fast . But for returns or site to store be prepared to wait at least 20-30 minutes . It's really not the best in the world . So I'd say average wait time is anywhere from 18-22 minutes during regular hours . But on the plus side the people working are nice and make it worth the wait read more

I want to say that Walmart is a good store sometimes people under value their services because they trying very hard to give people with less money a good quality and affordable prices for their merchandise. Some employee are better that other in customer service. But I am happy to said that I got lucky to run into joselyne know as josy at the pharmacist when I went to pick up my medicine. She was so helpful and trying to make feel better with my frustrations at the time to pay. She insist and to pay with my insurance card. And I said to her that insurance covers are suck and prefer to pay cash. She went the extra step to teach me how I can get discount coupon true the internet to save some money. That was so lovely. She is a great assets to this big chain of retailers. I wish every person had the same attitude and skill like her. More important a good heart to help other. read more

Terrible customer service!! I came in 30 min before closing and I got short changed and the lady forgot to scan one of the 4 times I had. I went back and said you forgot to scan the item and paid for it but I had to wait in costumer service for 2 hours the next day for them to tell me that I " could not look at the video" but she was sure I got my change back. I would have to sue them to get it back. Not worth my time. Obviously they need more training because I only got 4 items and she only scanned 3 and gave me 20 dollars less than what I was supposed to get in change back !!!!!
