My husband and I came to the store and wanted to purchase a bunk bed frame. The box was so heavy and long we couldn't fit it in the cart. I couldn't lift it. I asked three other Walmart workers if they could help me, they all said no, and pointed me to someone else that couldn't help me. We almost didn't buy the bunk bed. But then I asked 1 last employee.. a young man named Edgar, he literally stopped what he was doing to help. He helped my husband loaded into the cart, brought it to the front for us Aiden helped us loaded into our truck! .. that kind of customer service and help really makes such a difference! Let the record reflect that I've ordered multiple items through the Walmart app, and the service used to be decent. I even tipped one driver $20 because he went above and beyond. But my recent experience has been extremely disappointing. On April 5, 2026, I placed a small order for pots, pans, and silverware, with a scheduled delivery date of April 7. That date came and went, and I received no delivery. When I called customer service, I was told their best suggestion was a 15% discount on anything over $25--hardly an acceptable resolution for missing a scheduled delivery for a small order. This type of service is shocking from a company of Walmart's size and resources. Their treatment of customers has become unacceptable. Having worked at Walmart during the holiday season, I understand the high turnover, but that doesn't excuse poor service or negligence. Walmart needs to improve its customer service and delivery standards. It's disappointing to see such a huge corporation ignoring the importance of customer satisfaction. Bought a mattress online through Walmart's website. Decided that we no longer wanted it and Walmart said it would honor a return. When we tried to return it, the customer service people said it had to be put in a box. We already put the mattress in a vacuum sealed bag but unfortunately it won't fit into a box. They won't accept the return and now we are stuck with a mattress and no refund. Next day, we find a box and they still won't accept the return. Told us we had to call 1-800-WALMART to resolve the issue. Why can't they go up their chain of command and fix the problem.Waiting on the phone now for someone to help. I recently went into Walmart on a mission to get a few items and both items were in stock. Sugar-free applesauce and an emergency back pack kit. Omg I came here for two items. Caress body wash and Olay daily fave wash. Both were in locked cabinets. I wanted to 20 oz size of Caress. Funny how it showed stock before I came to store and right when I was in store, looking at other Caress body wash sIzes. But they didn't have 30 oz in stock. So I got smaller size (20 oz). No huge deal. Smaller size is only 0.003 cent more per fl oz. I buzzed for someone to open locked cabinet. The guy that came was helpful and friendly. But is clearly overworked. It seems like everyone needed him to open a locked cabinet for them in different areas of the store. I went to self-check out. This store didn't have ApplePay or tap . Came in here looking to solve three puzzles. Two out of three ain't bad! Was in need of some shorts preferably with a decent name attached to it-lol. Was able to secure three nice Reebok shorts, which fit to a tee. I then moved on and asked a few questions about what kind of a memory or storage holder is best for saving a few thousand pictures. That's when I ran into customer service All Star Vincent. This guy knew his stuff from top to bottom and left to right. I was thinking about going on the cheap and getting a little flash drive with two terabytes. He insisted on the more sturdy and more efficient SSD solid state drive 2 tb which should be able to handle a few thousand pictures that we were fortunate to recover going back to the 40s and 50s of the family. And while they didn't have the third product that I was looking for, as mentioned before two out of three ain't bad. But it was CSA, for customer service Vincent who made this trip to Walmart more than worthwhile. read more

Visit January 4th: I haven't been to Walmart in a while, and last night I was reminded why I don't go there. My son has been asking to go in and look at toys. I was exploring the store for a bit and found a few left over Christmas stuff ON THE CLEARANCE section( 4 items). So I held on to them hoping they would be at least 50% off since it's way past Christmas time. Finally got to the register and and my grumpy cashier said they were regular price, I nicely told her they were on the clearance she said I can't do nothing about it, I asked if she could call a manager for help, and so called manager came over only to scan the things and say they were regular price and she can't override? Point is those things were on clearance and nobody wanted to try and go the extra mile to solve the problem. Sadly I ended up leaving the stuff behind, and it makes me very upset that customer service is not a thing anymore. UPDATE: same day later time, one of the items that I did buy was paw patrol string cheese, came to find it was expired since December 7, 2025. I made this purchase on January 4, 2026. read more

It's concerning to go to a public store and see how rude people are. Both the people who shop there and the employees. Went to take my friends' mom (who is in a wheelchair chair) and people literally crammed the isle and didn't move for her. I had to ask people if we could get by and it looked like it was an inconvenience, plus the people at the check out seemed to be careless as to how many people were waiting. I went to this Walmart today to get a house key duplicated. I asked a security guard at the entrance which department I had to go to. She rudely said, "Well, not here, honey. Go to Home Depot." There was a key duplication machine a few feet away from us that I then saw and I used that to save myself a trip to Home Depot. Today I reluctantly went back to this location to purchase some car cleaning products and it was a night and day difference. The staff today was very friendly and as an added bonus, I wasn't harassed at the door over a receipt like last time. Today, there was a sweet woman working the door around 1:30p and she was kind to me. My last review is what it is because of what happened but I wanted to make an update and give credit where credit is due. I did remove one star because the app said one of my items was in stock but it wasn't and had to make a trip to another store. I placed an online delivery. The shopper shopped all my items but when she got to my water she substituted my water for a brand I don't drink i sent her message via the app she replied back in Spanish well by the time I got the translation app downloaded to respond she had already completed my order. Then she called me speaking in perfect English stating I already paid for the water. I told her I didn't want the water so she turned around canceled my order. I called the customer service who stated that between the Torrance location and the the Inglewood ave location they were having issues and that my order would be delivered between 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm at 12:24 pm I got a text stating my order was canceled I called walmart customer service they stated yes it was canceled they apologized stated my refund would be back to my EBT sunbucks card $120.00 and my additional refund to my gift cards worth $300.00 dollars in 3 hours. Nothing has been refunded. I got a 15.00 dollars off $25.00 promo but not my refund. I order from Walmart 4 to 5 times a month i don't have a car. I don't get regular food stamps I pay cash for everything I get. I am a hard working single mother. And I spent my last making sure I put food on the table for me and my babies it's Monday morning my son doesn't have snacks for school and I don't know how we are going to eat tonight my cat doesn't have food or litter. And I am not happy. I called this morning and I am supposed to be getting back my Sunbucks return quickly nothing yet and told to call another number for my legitimate gift cards . The good: I actually really like getting clothes from Walmart. They fit well, are cheap and have been great during both of my pregnancies when I want clothes that fit without investing too much money in the short-term clothing. The bad: I wish this was a super Walmart with the grocery section as well. I don't think there's a garden section here. I got 3 laundry baskets here and all of their handles broke off within 2 months. They were very cheaply made but were kind of on the expensive end! The line moved slowly on both occasions I came. A few of them have been canceled. Yesterday they said a delivery was attempted at my apartment, but I waited for a couple of hours so I could open the gate for the delivery driver and the delivery driver never arrived. The order that I was supposed to receive updated on Walmart that it would not arrive until the next day. Then later in the evening, it was updated that a delivery was attempted. That is not true because I was waiting to open the gate and they never arrived. I actually the gate for another Walmart delivery driver who arrived with a small item when I asked for a redelivery they refused and said my refund would take up to 10 days. lol, what a surprise that I gave Walmart one star. I bought a case of tennis balls that was ready the next day which I do about every 6 months for the last 2 years. I usually pick up my orders at the Customer Service area in the front of the store, but the Walmart CS employee said they moved the in store pickup to the rear corner of the store. When I found the area I saw three employees just standing around and I said I have an online pickup. A female employee looked at me and said I need to move back to the shelf, so I turned around looking for a line on the ground or a sign (none) and was facing two sets of shelves. I took three steps back to a shelf and said "do you mean here" and she said to the shelf... I took another step to my left and said "are you kidding..you mean here". Then a male employee said i should use curb side delivery because there isn't an in store pickup, I stated the customer service person told me to come back here to pickup my purchase and I've been doing a in store pickup for over two years. During this entire time I could see my box of tennis balls on the shelf. The guy finally gave me my item which I said this store was a joke. I returned to the customer service area and requested a manager, the female employee made a call and said one will be here soon, Then she received a call on a cell and was walking away from the desk saying "a guys is complaining about an online order " and walked away. So I left the store shaking my head and saying why waste my time complaining about customer service from Walmart, I'm guessing that's why they work there! This Walmart usually (more than 50% of my visits) do not carry (or run out of inventory?) what i am shopping for. this is only for convenience due to the location. however i normally go to the Neighborhood store more often. case in point, i went to this Walmart to get some 2% fat milk today. lo and behold, i grabbed the last one in the fridge. i went by the bread aisle and was looking for bagels (my fav flavor = double cheese) and found these with giant molds on the shelf (see attached pic). and may i add, of the 5 packages of the double cheese bagels, 3 of the packages have molds growing inside! if you care for your family's wellbeing, do not shop here. read more

Pathetic workforce. Let me paint the picture for you, my baby has been waking up every 30 minutes for past 3 nights. I haven't had more than 12 hours sleep in 4 days. I finally get my kid down for a nap and have about 1 hour to do my errands. I go to Walmart to get formula. I press the assistance button in front of the locked formula section. It flashes and says someone will be right with me. The button then stops flashing and I wait a bit and no one comes. So I assume I need to press the button again because once it stops flashing maybe it no longer alerts the workers that help is needed in that section. I repeat this 3 times. No one shows. I walk and find three ladies in the clothing section. They're talking to each other and don't even look in my direction. I finally interject and say "I'm sorry can you please send someone to the formula section, I'm not sure if the button is working". She radios someone to come. I go back over there. I wait 7 minutes and no one shows, a security guard walks by and sees me standing there and asks if I need help. I say yes and he radios someone and says they'll be two minutes. 4 minutes later, one of the ladies that barely gave me the time of day earlier comes right from the aisle she was in when I spoke to her before. Were they just letting me waiting because I pressed the help button too many times? I don't know. But man, if you hate your job that much just quit and don't suck up a tired mom's entire 45 minutes of freedom. read more

I came into this store today and every employee that I encountered had a bad attitude . I requested for a managers help and she was worse . My issue was they advertised several clearance items but none of them were in stock and they don't offer a rain check . I asked if they would be getting more and she said no so I asked why don't you take the labels down because it's very misleading . Total bait and switch . Nicole who says she was a manager but with her nasty attitude she definitely needs more customer service training or find another job . If I were the GM I would fire you on the spot along with the older lady with the grey braids at the self check out .just straight out nasty attitudes . What a different a area makes . This was my first time visiting this store and will never return. We were in line (my elderly mother on a walker, myself who is awaiting shoulder replacement surgery, and my young daughter) at the 20 items and less line and had our stuff on the table to the register. As my turn came up next, I smiled at the employee by the name of Tony, and he returned my smile with a rude glare. He refused to start ringing; he just glared at me. I was so confused with what was going on, and I looked back at the line, and the lady behind me looked at me just as confused. I finally asked if everything was okay, and he responded rudely, "It would be nice if you could move your stuff closer to me". I was completely thrown off because it was heavy items but was very much in reach of him grabbing. I told him to hold on while I call over my young daughter (who put the items on the register) back over to push the items closer to him because we are unable to lift or push due to physical limitations. He glared and still waited for her to come over to push everything over a foot. I didn't disrespect him or say anything in the moment, but I can say we NEVER had this problem in Las Vegas, where I'm from. As from other reviews, this is an ongoing problem with this store. But a grown man that felt comfortable watching a young teen girl scooting over groceries that he could have easily done is an embarrassment not only to him as a man but as a representation of your store. read more

If I could leave this store zero stars on this review I would. By far the worst location I've ever been to. Spoke to an associate about getting something unlocked, they said they can't open it until 2pm? What type of nonsense is that, I'm sorry shouldn't the managers have keys to those specific areas that are locked especially if a customer is asking for help. Found a manager and asked them politely I wasn't upset or anything but what bothered me the most was the manager who I spoke to reassured me he would meet me at the jewelry display. I waited for about 10-15 minutes and I ended up leaving. As I was getting into my car I see him getting in his as well. Imagine that being told I'll get help and seeing the very manager who told me he would help me out leaving the same time as myself. This store is a joke!!
