I walked in here for the first time to see if they had frames I liked, and they had some I loved (2…read morefor $99 - my choice to upgrade) so I scheduled an eye exam. The employees were friendly and helpful, and Bill was the one who eventually took my eyeglass order. He was very nice. The eye doctor, Dr. Cozzi, was nice and quickly did my exam in about 15 minutes. I ended up upgrading a lot of features to the 2 pair of glasses I bought, including trying "transitions" lenses for the first time, so I ended up spending a lot more than I originally planned BUT there was NO pressure to do so. I have been happy with them. When I picked up my glasses about 10 days later, the manager Lucy helped me and she also was very nice.

DO NOT GO HERE! Unprofessional. There aren't any doctor's onsite. It's all done virtually, if…read morethere's even a doctor signed into the system. I had an exam scheduled for 5:20pm on 2/4/2026. At 6:30 I was called back for my exam. The first doctor came on screen and decided she wasn't going to conduct the exam because they didn't do a lensometry on my glasses, even though my primary correction is with contact lenses. The second doctor came on screen, 10 minutes later, and didn't care about the lensometry. My wife had an appointment for an eye exam at 5:30pm on 2/4/2026. She was finally called into the exam room at 6:50pm, only to come out 5 minutes later because all the doctors had signed out. You read that right; there was a patient in the queue and all the doctor's signed out of the system know there was a patient in the queue. Imagine if you went to a doctor's office, sat in the waiting room for them for over an hour only to have someone come out and tell you the doctor had already gone home for the day 10 minutes earlier, which is pretty much what happened here, only virtually. Their solution was to have my wife drive to the Mason location today, 2/5, for an exam as they didn't have any availability at the Eastgate location today. Never going back.

This is my first review ever but I feel its important for people to know about this place…read more As much as I appreciate the optometrist I have been going to for over 10 years...I will no longer be going back. The staff is less to be desired along with the service of providing quality eyewear as well. I got my yearly exam for my eyes and decided to try them out for my glasses (I have been wearing glasses since I have been 9 years old so this isn't my first rodeo with glasses). When I got my glasses back, I couldn't see out of them...literally. They told me to wear them over the weekend. I still couldn't see so I had to bring them back of course. The girl kept doing tests on me, asking me odd questions, etc. The lenses were wrong, period. She sent them back...weeks later..still no glasses (6 weeks combined). Excuse after excuse of why they couldn't get my glasses finished. It was the strangest thing I have ever been thru tbh. Finally I asked them to return my frames to go elsewhere. When I picked them up, there was unnecessary attitude from the staff. It was unprofessional to say the least. Nobody should be treated that way. I took my frames elsewhere and had them done in 5 business days (with my insurance because they said this was impossible).

I will never come here again for an appointment. The ladies at reception were great and the woman…read morewho ultimately helped me with choosing my frames was a doll - loved her - but the Dr. was shockingly rude. I chose not to be dilated because I had no one to drive me home after the appointment, and he said to me in a bizarre manner, "Next time, I WILL dilate you." I asked, "Why is that?" He responded darkly, "Because I dilate EVERYONE." Uh. OK. You just solidified my resolve never to return, sir!

Do not go here! Yesterday I tried to stop by before work and order more of my regular contacts…read more Quick and easy, right? I have only been here one other time to get glasses and it went smoothly. Upon arrival there was no one at the front desk and a lady sitting at one of the eyeglass stations waved me over. I told her I needed to get more contacts and she started typing on her computer without even saying hello or asking me for any of my information. I recently got new insurance so I pulled up that information for her on my phone and told her what it was. STILL without saying ANYTHING the lady just grabs my phone and takes it with her to the front desk. She makes no gesture for me to follow her and still says nothing so I just stayed sitting at the eyeglass station. Five to ten minutes later an older gentleman comes to her aid and they are obviously both confused and they keep asking each other questions. Still no one had communicated anything to me so I just walked over to the front desk to see what they are doing(The woman still has my phone too). Neither of them even look at me or say a word. For five ish minutes I just try and observe what they are doing because its taking much longer than I expected it to at this point. The lady finally gave me my phone back. They printed out a couple of papers that I assumed were for me and when I glanced at them, they had MY birthday and the name GRACE WALTERS. They hadn't even asked me my name still??? I said "does that say Grace?" And the gentleman looked at me for the first time and said "yeah grace". I had to explain to them my name was not Grace and this seemed to confuse them. Without STILL asking me any questions about myself or telling me what they were doing, they just keep typing on the computer. I finally call my mother because she takes care of my insurance and when I tried to give the gentleman the phone he didnt even look at me or the phone and acted like I didnt exist. I put my mom on speaker and they told her that they cannot bill me if they cannot find me in the system. My mother asked how they could not find me since I gave them my insurance number and everything else. They said they were just looking up my last name and they could not find me. My mom said "well look up the insurance number", and the gentleman said "We're gonna try that". At this point I was frustrated and on track to be late for work, so I stepped out side to talk to my mother for a quick minute. I told them both I would be right back. I walked back inside and the gentleman and lady had stopped whatever they were doing on the computer and were both just staring off into the distance. Neither even looked at me when I walked back in. I told them I was going to take a different route to get contacts and I said thank you. Neither of them said a word they just stared. It was so weird. I've never had an interaction like this in my life, especially with employees of healthcare. I still don't understand how it was so difficult for me to reorder contacts for an existing prescription it should have been a 10 minute ordeal. And the lack of hospitality at this place is sad. Thinking back, I do not think that either of the times I have been to this establishment, I've even been smiled at by anyone. Very cold environment. Will not be returning.
