I began searching for a private eye care (not a chain) that was close to my house and worried that I wouldn't be able to find one I liked. My search has now ended. This office has a friendly and professional staff, thorough exams with providers that listen and answer all of your questions. If you need an eye doctor that you can have pure confidence in this is your place.

However, the 7 day return policy is not flexible enough. When it comes to progressives, you need a few days to adjust to them. If there's a problem, one needs time to return to the store, find out that the prescription might be wrong, reschedule another ophthalmologist appt, and then return again with a new prescription. For people who work, it is not possible to miss so much work--or get another doctor's appointment so quickly--and return to fix the glasses. I spent a few hundred dollars for unwearable glasses because I work full-time and could not get back into the store with a new prescription within 7 days. I had to wait another year before I could address this due to insurance coverage. I recommend DHEC for standard glasses and the outstanding staff, but if you need progressives that might need some adjustments over time, you might want to consider a place with a more lenient policy.

She spent the time to answer many of my detailed questions with in depth answers and examples. She has a way to translate such complicated science about the eye in an informative digestible way. I'm so grateful to have found her on Yelp many months ago! Special shout-out to Emily! As a first time client, she was inviting and frankly fun to talk to. Also she helped me pick out the coolest pair of new glasses. PS- Dr Jen mentioned my prescription had hardly changed, so I wouldn't need a new pair of glasses. What?!? I don't think I've ever had a doctor not sell me on something. You got appreciate the honesty.

My recent appointment with Dr. Lindsay Eisenberg was efficient; however, during the exam, the doctor used her fingers to demonstrate slanted eyes while discussing dry eye and made a comment about Botox in relation to this. This gesture and remark were racially insensitive and have no place in patient care, as comments and gestures of this nature affect whether patients feel safe seeking care. I have decided not to return. Overall, the clinic runs smoothly, and don't forget to request your updated prescription at checkout!

5 Stars - A Masterclass in Customer Recovery, Thanks to Yaacov Wexler…read more My experience at LensCrafters Store #0873 (Atlanta, GA) began with uncertainty--but concluded as one of the most positive customer service turnarounds I've had in years, thanks entirely to Yaacov Wexler (ID: 509037). On April 16, 2025, I purchased three pairs of glasses. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by several missteps: a lack of guidance on titanium frame availability, incorrect sizing (I typically wear 52mm but was given 55mm), and no clear explanation of lens upgrade options. I left the store frustrated, second-guessing my choices. But then came Yaacov. During my follow-up visits on April 27 and May 9, he not only addressed every issue--I genuinely felt heard, valued, and respected as a customer. Yaacov facilitated a return with zero hassle, corrected the fit on my prescription sunglasses, and even added nose pads to improve comfort--all with a level of attentiveness and professionalism that went far beyond expectation. What stood out most was his calm, knowledgeable approach and sincere desire to make things right. He didn't just resolve a mistake--he redefined what great service looks like. In an age where customer care can feel rushed or impersonal, Yaacov reminded me that one dedicated associate can transform not only a sale--but a customer's entire impression of a brand. I hope his efforts are recognized--he absolutely earned it.

I wish I had a better review to leave; however, at this point this is not the case. I've been…read morecoming to this office for many years, and generally had good experiences up until about two years ago. I came in for my routine exam, and things went as expected. I picked a pair of frames and spent about $300+ after insurance. Again, no complaints. Kat called me to inform me that my glasses were ready for pick up. I went and immediately noticed that the prescription was not correct. I shared this concern at pick up and was told that due to the prescription that I needed to wear them for about two weeks to allow my eyes to get adjusted. I didn't fully understand this because my prescription was the same as it had always been. I complied, and experienced headache and eye aches. I shared this and went back to the location. Again, I was assured that the prescription was current and shouldn't cause me to have any concerns. Instead it was. No resolve, I left to advocate another day. I went home and found my prescriptions from the prior year and current year, I called back and spoke to Kat to share with her my concerns and findings. She found the error, and i stead of apologizing she just took the glasses. The wrong prescription was totally wrong. I left the glasses and came back a few days later to pick them up. Again, I am still having an issue seeing. I shared this again, but was over talked and ignored. I was given the same advice of allowing the eyes to adjust to this situation. After two weeks and same concern I went somewhere else. They were able to find the concern and I spoke with the location and was told I would get a call back. It never happened, time passed and it slipped my mind to follow-up. I did call back months later and was told that although I communicated my concerns of not being able to see, and I was awaiting a response that too much time had passed for them to adjust the prescription. It sucks that I have had to overly communicate, advocate and continuously go back and fourth to get this situation corrected and still no resolve. I shared my concerns at every visit. I brought up the concern and did everything and I am still in a position of losing out money because of this. While I have a good experience at this facility the last two years have been difficult. I am choosing to not patronize going forward. While this is my experience, I share so that you are well informed.
