My experience at EyeMart, and specifically with customer service rep Victoria, was awesome…read more I went to EyeMart in Anderson, SC, on a Saturday to have glasses made from a new prescription, only to realize that, for some reason, the uploaded prescription wasn't available. The doctor's office was unable to resolve the issue, so I had to drive back to the doctor's office in Greenville to get a paper copy. By the time I got back to EyeMart, I had less time than needed for the in-house lab to make the glasses. Listening to me lament that the glasses I had ordered at the eye doctor's wouldn't arrive for weeks, and that I didn't have a car available during weekdays to come back to EyeMart in the next few days, Victoria spoke with the lab technician in the back, and encouraged him to make his best effort to make the glasses before the store closed. He did, and I was surprised and thrilled! Victoria was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with as well, helping me find affordable frames after having spent a lot of money at the doctor's office. Like many, I find that good customer service is rare these days, and appreciate it greatly whenever I receive it! Kudos to Victoria!! She made my day.

The experience continued throughout the visit. The optometrist has the personality on a wet rag. The contact lenses prescribed did not fit. When the office was called, they insisted this was normal and my eyes needed to adjust. It was only after I explained that my vision was better without the contacts than with the contacts, that they decided to talk to the doctor. The only reason this office was picked was because they offered late appointments. I'd drive a couple hours to go to a provider with weekend appointments instead of returning to this practice.
