The Auto Center is soooo bad. I bought some tries and booked an appointment for 9-10, two weeks beforehand. I showed up on time and had my online order number. I was greeted and everything was going as planned. The only problem was there wasn't an appointment area. So I had to wait for my car to be serviced even with an appointment. They also told me that my ordered was never received and I had to show them that it was and I had proof. The man went back and came to tell me they had found them but at this point it was already 9:47. Then he yells to the mechanics to let them know I had an appointment. I thought maybe I would be priority especially since I had an appointment but no. He proceeded to attend to the cars ahead of me with no appointment. I tried to make the best of my time and shop at Walmart but it was not ready after 2 hours( the man that greeted me said it would take no longer than 1hour and a half). I asked for an estimated time to a young guy named DJ and was answered with rude customer service. Keep in mind I had not even complained before this so I was pissed as to why I was treated in that way (I was not the only one he was speaking to like that) . He never gave me an answer so I peeped out and saw the mechanics all talking and standing around and they got to work bc one of them knew I had been waiting for a LONG TIME. It was just tire installations. That's all. I finally got my car past 12:30. Almost 4 hours later. Never coming back. Hope you guys talk to DJ in Auto center. read more

I honestly dread this place. Trust me. I always used to shop walmart until I moved to Stanton and this became the closest one. Let me begin with this dark and scary tale of a nightmare called "Walmart-Westminster" It all starts in the parking lot which is completely full with people walking all over the middle of the road making it impossible for you to drive through. Then you are faced with a haggard looking couple, or some wide eyed kids picking their face (assuming due to some kind of drug addiction) that come to you begging and pleading for change, or money for gas, or the worst is the people that walk around with the kid in the stoller. Now that's just not right. After I run the 450 meter to the doors I feel like I've gone to hell. The returns line is an average 25-30 minute wait. The checkout is the same. It seems like a run down warehouse shopping experience with clothes in disarray, diapers always running out, and a free for all $5 DVD section with the most dedicated of movie watcher have pulled up a chair as they sift for whatever they dont already own. It is a disorganized mess. The only way you will catch me shopping at this walmart is if I buy something online and get to go straight to the back for my item that has been shipped. They need to have signs indicating where curbside parking is. I went into the store to pickup my online order. There was no sales rep available but there was a sign informing you that you can only pickup via curbside. I drove in circles at least 3 times around the parking lot looking for the curbside parking signs. There were NO SIGNS and no directions so i called the store and was informed that it was on the side by the auto shop and to park where it states curbside. Again, the sign does not state its curbside and its super small. I checked in and it states you can't check in at this time??? It's 4:30pm!! Terrible system. Beware of solicitors! There's always someone out front asking for something. Walmart isn't known for quality products. You get what you pay for here. I shop here for cheap everyday stuff. The lines for returns/customer service can get ridiculous. Avoid peak times if you can. There's plenty of parking, but I recommend parking far to avoid cars and people. read more

I've been several Wal-Marts and I think it's better then most. Parking is easy, even on weekends, and it's right off the 22 freeway. As always, the prices are always great and you never have to think twice about if it's the cheapest price you can get. Surprisingly, check-out is super fast. There are several self-check out lanes at this location and I can always find a cashier with only 1 person waiting to pay. read more

I love the McDonald's in the Walmart the service in there is good and fast. The only problem I have is that the return line is always long and there's always lack of staff at the return center. I hardly ever go to this Walmart. But yesterday my battery had died. After calling 3 different Pepboys and getting turned away for a battery, Walmart was my last resort. I called and was told the automotive service center was closing in 30min. I sped down there and find both service bays had cars in them with cars behind them waiting for service. I thought to myself I'm definitely going to get turned away. I walked up to the service bay and met one of the Techs names Pancho. I told him I needed my battery tested because my car died. Pancho looked at the clock it was 6:50. 10min from closing and he said I'll take care of you. That he sure did he tested my battery and yes I needed a new one. He sent me inside to see if they had it and luckily they did have one left for my car. I purchased it and brought it out for Pancho to install. Pancho could have easily turned me away like the 3 different Pepboys did. But instead he went above and beyond his service and helped me out. Generous hard working people like Pancho are hard to come by nowadays. The other tech I forget his name Franco/Frank? He helped Pancho and he was also respectful and nice. I recommend having Pancho help you if you ever come to this Walmart automotive service center. read more

My first Yelp review... I visited this Walmart on Saturday June 17, 2017 to purchase beer. I am 28 years old, had my ID, I was with my 24 year old girl friend who also had her ID, and 2 other 28 year old friends, who did not have ID's, because they were in bathing suits. The clerk denied to sell to me because every person in my party didn't have an ID.... I then very politely asked to speak to a manager so we could resolve this and was told that not only could I not buy alcohol even if I came back they still wouldn't sell to me because they will remember my face. Although this Wal-Mart isn't 24 hrs like it used to be anymore, it's still convenient when you need to get something cheap, quick, and after regular store hours. My most recent experience was this past Sunday, since it was Easter, I wanted to make sure they were still open before I drove over. I made a quick call and expected it to be a short, unfriendly experience. Much to my surprise, the lady I spoke with (I regret not remembering her name) was so nice and friendly that it turned my night around. T his Walmart Apparently if a customer pays with a card and wants cash back, the cashier needs someone with a key to open the drawer. Today is not the first time I have encountered the situation of the garden cashiers being totally ignored. The alternative of self checkout isn't any better, especially if anything goes wrong, and it usually does. The main checkout is normally crowded and if they need help, like a customer paying with a card wanting money back, you will have a long wait, also. I came to this Walmart a few days ago because I needed new tires. I did my research, bought the tires online and had them shipped to the store. When they arrived, I called the tire center to see if I could make an appointment, the lady says, "Sorry, it's first come first serve." (most tire places are like that but I just wanted to check). So I drove to Walmart after work, and when I arrived, no one even acknowledged me. The "supervisor" of the tire center and other employees inside the garage were literally just standing around. They would look at me and then look away as if I wasn't waiting, no hand motions to come in or anything. I had to get out of my car and ask someone where to go to finally get my service done. Once acknowledged, the supervisor took my information and quoted us an hour for all four tires to be changed. During this time, we walked the store (basically "window shopping") for an hour. Big Mistake! Come back to the tire center, HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED! WTF WERE THEY DOING BACK THERE??? I had to get another (store) supervisor involved because the tire centers supervisor bailed. The guys in the garage stated they were working on another car before we came in.... I saw that car, they were almost done when I pulled up, and if they were running behind why wasn't I notified? So now, I have to watch them change my tires instead of leaving them unsupervised to get it done. Took 20 minutes... I gave them two stars instead of one because they at least gave me a discount (about $10 off of my bill) after the ordeal; But, I would honestly rather pay full price then have my time wasted. read more

I have been going to this Walmart for years but today was exceptionally different experience (I wonder if the constant complain about the service here helped??). Everyone was super friendly and willing to help. If they saw me intently looking for an item, they approached me and asked if I was in need of any assistance or they were willing to answer my questions to the best of their knowledge. It was supposed to arrive to this location on Tuesday. I called in to see if my tires had arrived yet. I called 4 times, no answer all 4 times, was transferred 3 times by the automated system, still no one to answer my question. Today, Wednesday, I got a notification that my tires had arrived. I came by to pick it up and get it installed. The backup time was 3+ hours. I have a busy work schedule so I told them that I couldn't wait 3+ hours to get my tires installed. I wanted to pick them up and get them installed elsewhere. The technician name Albert said that if I did that it will void my warranty. I told him that doesn't make sense. I had the manager confirmed that that was not the case and that my warranty will still be intact. Sure enough, he gave me the incorrect information. Obviously Walmart is never a classy place...but this one is really the worst. Self checkout is always backed up and there's always an attendant that sneaks up on you and yells at you if you're not scanning/bagging "the right way." She also will straight up not help people when the registers prompt for assistance. I came tonight to get a couple essentials, not a single register was open and the self checkout was all the way into the clothing department. An older customer was complaining that there aren't enough cashiers and it's too busy of a store, and the employee's response was "yeah I don't care, I'm going back over to the customer service counter." Then, I almost got hit by a car in the parking lot in front of their "security" staff. He looks the other way and acts like he didn't see anything. This store is obviously poorly managed. I've seen the manager straight up yelling at employees before, in front of many customers! Either get a new manager or hire more competent people. I will say that the aisles are always very organized compared to other Walmart stores, but if you need something quick I say stay away. read more

I bought a 30 pack Coors beer only to find blood smears around the cans and inside the packaging. I called the wal-mart. They told me we couldnt exchange because we opened the bottles, but when I said this is not just dirt, it's blood. They said to bring in all the cans and they were willing to exchange it with another package. We went to grab it only to find blood smears in that packaging. Autumn was the staff associate helping me at the customer service desk and she said the only thing she can do was to give us the bottom half of the layer between the two packages. I hate this location. The employees are super rude and crabby. I've seen customers ask questions and the employee giving them attitude for it. They're not open 24/7 anymore and they close at midnight instead. The security lady is really rude. 15 minutes before closing time, she stood outside shouting at all the customers walking in that they're closing in 15 minutes. They're closing in 15 minutes, it doesn't mean that they're closing right away. Shoppers still have 15 minutes.
