He didn't rush it or make me feel like I was being difficult, which honestly can happen in these situations. He took the time to double check everything, made sure the pricing was correct, and handled it all with such a calm and helpful attitude. It made a frustrating situation feel easy. Really appreciated the level of care and customer service. Joseph is a great example of how much the right employee can elevate the entire experience.

This store consistently gives us expired groceries in our pickup orders. If this had happened once,…read moreI could understand it as a mistake. It hasn't. This has happened repeatedly. We have received expired baby formula, baby food/snack pouches, and other grocery items. Even worse, some of the baby products have been several months past their expiration date. At that point, this isn't an occasional oversight--it shows that expiration dates are simply not being properly checked before items are pulled for customer orders. Giving customers expired food is bad enough. Giving families months-expired baby formula and food intended for young children is completely unacceptable. We shouldn't have to inspect every single item in a Target pickup order to make sure it is actually safe to give our child. After having this happen multiple times, I have absolutely no confidence that this store is properly monitoring expiration dates or checking products before handing them to customers. Given that this has happened repeatedly and has included expired infant products, I will also be forwarding the details and photos of these products to the FDA. This has gone well beyond a one-time mistake and needs to be addressed.

The blank patches vary but the largest one I saw was $1.99. I believe the gentleman quoted me $10 on the embroidery & $2 for sewing it on. $14 for a embroidered left chest personalization is a great deal! Now to find the medium I want it sewn on. Will update the review if the quality does not meet the rave reviews from my neighbors but I have high hopes!!

I understand that working a busy register can be stressful, and I was completely understanding when I realized that my phone wallet had unexpectedly lost my payment cards. I apologized, explained that I had cash in my car, and literally ran outside and back to get it. I was gone for less than a minute. Unfortunately, when I returned, I was treated in a way that I found extremely disrespectful and unnecessary. I tried to be polite and patient, but the interaction continued to escalate because of the employee's attitude toward me. At one point, I simply asked what the problem was and why I was being treated with such an attitude. I was told I could speak with a manager. I said I would rather just receive my refund and leave without purchasing the items. Instead, I was told, "No, you're going to purchase it," and my transaction continued. A manager eventually came over, but I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously or that the situation was handled appropriately. I am intentionally leaving the specific details out of this review because I plan to contact Ross management directly about what happened, including the conduct of the employee and how the situation was handled by the manager. If this is not corrected, I will be including names in my updated review. I left the store extremely disappointed. I came in as a customer expecting basic courtesy and respect, and unfortunately, that was not what I received tonight.

Overall this store is generally well organized but one downside is that pricing can sometimes be confusing or inconsistent. Sometimes the prices aren't on the product or on the shelf so you have to bring it up to the register. Therefore, it's not always easy to check whether you're getting the best deal without doing your own price check on your phone. Sometimes I have found the same item with different tagged pricing so you have to grab the correct one and head to the register.

Walmart is an institution that exists despite the entire force of the universe making it the shittiest place I have ever bought anything at. For one, I don't know where the people who shop at Walmart come from, but the clientele either look like they escaped from a mental institution or look like they should be immediately instated in one. Everyone is extremely rude (customers and staff alike) and it's an unspoken rule that once you step through the sliding doors of Walmart you can ignore all rules of human decency and abandon manners. Second, the staff don't know anything about the place they work or the location of anything. They also have absolutely no desire to know. I can't really blame them since Walmart is approximately the size of a small country, however I literally had 4 different sales people tell me that ugly Christmas sweaters were in 4 opposite locations of the store. I ended up in mechanics, the food aisle, toys, and lingerie and after 5 miles of trekking through randomly assorted aisles (there is literally no rhyme or reason to the organization of Walmart...I'll get to that later) I finally found a manager who told me that they no longer carry them. Walmart, the fucking alien planet superstore, does not sell ugly Christmas sweaters. OKAY. As I was leaving, I noticed that not only was there shit EVERYWHERE (toys littered on the floor, clothing hanging off of the ceiling [slightly exaggerating] and dangerous looking construction equipment in nearly every aisle) that some of the merchandise had already been used. I found a coloring book that had already been completely colored in. NICE. Finally, it is impossible to find anything in Walmart. Fucking Frodo with a GPS map of Mordor couldn't find his way around that place. The baby strollers are next door to the cellphones and the freezer aisle is next to the makeup. There is absolutely no logical sense whatsoever. Also, be prepared to be involved in at least one verbal or physical altercation if you visit Walmart. I already mentioned the people are insane, but add the absolute fucking chaos of this building and you have the perfect storm for a clusterfuck of pissed off people who can't find shit and hate each other. Also, there's the slight possibility I might have contracted AIDS and HIV while visiting there because NO ONE covers their mouth when they cough (it's a joke...). Save your sanity, just go to Target. read more

Who needs the Wild Animal Park in San Diego when every town has a Wal Mart. Wave back at the elderly greeter. He/she may be the last sign of a fully evolved person you'll see for a while. You can feed the animals that roam the clothing section freely. Aside from your favorite breeds, you may also encounter new ones you've never seen before and be the first to name them (read true story below for my new breed). Pop open a tube of pringles and feed it to wildlife habitants. Or you can grab one of the many already opened Pringle tubes left behind by some cheap fat lady and equally fat repulsive kid wearing a wolf in the wilderness shirt. There have been times I've been here and I've wanted to take a rake to ever adults face here. Then take a shovel to every screaming kids head. You kinda have to acclimate yourself into the animal kingdom here. Survival of the fittest if you will. You have to look out for yourself here and yourself only. Do that and you should come out as top the food chain here. ***True story*** One day I was here with a friend pickin' up cotton swabs or some sh!t. Out of the corner of my eye I spot a shadow approaching towards me ominously. I look up and see some Wesley Snipes lookin fool. Seriously. The crazy f@ck had a leather trenchcoat on like Blade. I was like, sh!t, this muhfkr is going to straight want to sword fight me right here right now. Good thing I took Kendo when I was younger and I already had a broom in hand (I don't walk Wal Mart unarmed). We make eye contact. I show no fear. I'm ready to strike with quick and deadly force. Then I notice he's carrying a baby covered up . He whispers to the baby "ssh ssh, it'll be ok". I take a closer look and notice a fare skin flesh tone. Ah shit, this wannabe vampire slayer muhfkr just straight baby snatched. I'm ready to Kumite this fool, but before I commence violence that would result in my victory, I take another look. Wesley Snipes was carrying and whispering to one of them fake baby dolls from the toy aisle. Frickin' thing had the blinking eyes and sh!t. I drop my basket grab my friend and jet the hell outta there. Perhaps I was buggin' out. But don't lie. You bug out too when you go into a Wal Mart. Where do I begin? This was my first time in a Walmart and my last time in a Walmart. The employees look unprofessional. Visible tattoos on their chest arms and other places. People trying to return allegedly stolen items while I'm standing in the customer service line. Employees engaging in personal conversations out loud in front of me. A blond lady with a tattoo on her chest was working the customer service counter being extremely rude to a customer right in front of me. It's unfortunate she was not wearing a name badge because I would have reported her. Everything that could go wrong in the store went wrong. This was the worst display of professionalism and customer service. I will never enter one of these trashy stores again. Note to the store manager. (Yvonne Thomas). It would be wise to run that chaos of a store little better; actually, much better. My review says it all. If I could give zero stars, I would. I am much too intellectual to ever walk into a store like this again. I actually ended up leaving the store with a panic attack. Believe me. I can afford much better than Walmart. I've heard all the horror stories and I did not believe them. Now I do. Thank goodness for other stores that are professional, stores that have professional employees, and stores that have employees that don't look like some Walmart employees. To the employees that did look professional and were nice, I wish I could thank them in person but I will never go back in the store again. I will avoid this retailer like the plague. I had never been treated so badly and poorly by any employee anywhere until today at the WALMART ON BEACH AND TRASK by the 22 freeway. Asked an employee if they can open a new box of pillows since it was right there next to the other nearly empty boxes so I can get more varieties. And let me tell you this guy literally looks like a freakin FELON tatted all over his arms and neck (I dont have an issue with his tats) that must of just gotten out of jail. His response was NO, I CANT DO THAT, I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. So I once again explained to him if he can open the box that is about 10 feet from him so I can get some pillows??? His response again was, NO, I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT, NO I CANT DO THAT, AND IF I DO THAT, NO ONE IS GOING TO BUY IT SO NO! I didnt ask him to open a freakin bag of chips!!! People are buying it thats why the boxes are almost empty!!! He walked away and gave me a cold shoulder! He made me and my son felt so unsafe after that shopping in there, he would run into us and dog us. My son was with me and had to witness such an asshole and he was really bothered and wanted to make sure I made a complaint. Of course I did and pointed his ass out! The manager couldnt believe why the hell he did what he did and kindly opened up 2 boxes of pillows to restock! We walked in here, my friend and I, to buy charcoal and we were taking pictures of the christmas trees for the family and this assistant manager character comes out of nowhere and puts his hands all over our camera and says to turn it off. We turn it off. Then he proceeds to call over the radio that "two asian guys are here ..." "It's going to be a problem." Out of no where 3 other people appear, (not security). He put his hands all over our camera and over my friend, harassing us, stating that, "you weren't going to buy anything anyway." We were. We ended up going to Albertsons. It was way cheaper there. It makes me laugh. He started yelling racial slurs as he escorted us out. Even a random lady came up and asked Jesus to calm down. He was out of control. We defended ourselves verbally of course. The general manager Ivonne needs to know this and fire this person. He's a racists and he physically assaulted us, not being a security guard makes this illegal. Never come here. Zero Stars. Full of brain-dead workers ("Management" is practically non-existent). The Security Guard that currently works there is a Brain-Dead High School dropout (he has glasses and wears a beanie). Him and his boyfriend-coworker will constantly stalk you throughout each aisle, accusing you of stealing something. That's what they did to my brother. We just came to get our car serviced and while we were waiting we just went walked through the store aisles to see what was there. Out of nowhere we see this security guard who suddenly tells my brother, why are you walking so weird, you look suspicious and tells him to show what was in his pockets. My brother showed him his pockets to show that it was only his wallet. After this we walked away from him towards the fish aisle, but even when we went there, the security guard and his boyfriend stares at us from the corner as if we were going to steal some fish. Ridiculous. The management shouldn't be hiring such incompetent individuals who clearly have mental impairment. These 2 individual should be fired. I'll go here if Target is closed. ________________________ Top 3's: - Massive parking lot - Fast self-checkout lines - Clean and stocked shelves Low 3's: - Occasional homeless presence outside - Average customer service - Receipt check slows exit Overall: 4.1 Ambiance: 4.0 | Service: 3.9 | Value: 4.5 ________________________ This Walmart isn't terrible. Occasionally, some homeless people gather near the entrance, but the huge parking lot makes it easy to park and get in quickly. When you walk in, carts are centered in the front, customer service is on the right, and you'll see some mom and pop shops as you walk through. Groceries and hygiene products are to the left and most shelves stay organized and well-stocked here. It's my go-to alternative if Target or Costco are closed in the area. Affordability and convenience is what drives me back to this place. Employees are decent, self-checkout is pretty fast here, and the traditional cashiers are available. There's even an optical section near the front. Before you leave, you usually show your receipt at the front. read more

So this is some real stuff here. Me and my friend walk into wall mart looking for charcoal because we're going to bbq with the family. So my friend has a camera. He was taking pictures, first of all. And the ass hat named Jesus, the assistant manager of all people, comes tells us to turn off the camera and so we did. Then we proceed to the charcoal and as we were walking toward the home and garden section he says, "two asian guys are ..." "We're going to have a problem." So we start recording video and he literally puts his hands all over the camera seemingly assaulting my friend and the camera and he continues to with racially charged comments, stating that "you weren't going to buy anything anyway." Wrong. We ended going to Albertsons who didn't mind us recording and didn't racially profile us by our demographic and our age. His name is Jesus and his uncle tom ass doesn't deserve to live in this world. I really love this Walmart.Its open 24 hours a day.I had to get some pampers for my baby and some other items.The prices are great and the employees are very nice.My only issue is where is security when you need them. This very bold male Asian adult was driving in the Wal Mart parking walking up to drivers asking for $5.00 of gas then leaning on the car.The car appeared to be a gray Honda.Calif plate:4SEC228.This very frieghtening.Is'nt this aggressive pan handling and disturbing the peace?Is'nt that a violation of Calif Penal Code:647? This place is the worst place in the world, besides their over exploitation of their workers and food. I am disabled without my own mobility scooter so I have found its best to wait until after 7 pm to find one of Walmart's. The aisles are impossible to navigate they are cramming more and more useless junk in them. Now the pallets are blocking all the openings this has to be a fire violation. There are some good people that work there who are not happy so my guess is they can't keep stockers causing them to start stocking earlier so fewer can get the work done. ( double the pay ?? I think not ) The Walton's are all billionaires I believe maybe its time to quit sucking every penny out of operations budget. If you treat your employees and customers as valued people it creates a symbiotic relationship in which we all live happier and less stressful lives. This has to be the nastiest, most disgusting, dirtiest Walmart around. The employees are rude. They are unhelpful. There is no real organization. They do not monitor their building. Soon as you walk up you are bombarded with either homeless people asking for money or rude customers that are mostly drug addicts. Not to mention the snide employees. I don't ever leave reviews really but the BS that you have to deal with at this Walmart is best left for the health department and sanitation. Best believe next time I ever go there it will to blast pics of the hell whole it has become. Nothing will ever get me to put my money into this place ever. You couldn't Pay me 100 Billion dollars to write a better review about this dirt bag ass walmart. Horrible, horrible store!! Needed to return an item I had bought online. Waited over 30 minutes in line - there was one associate at the return counter with at least 15+ people in line. I asked another customer if it might be better if I came in earlier in the day: he told me that it was even worse earlier and that the wait is ALWAYS bad. The associate did not know how to return the item I had (unopened), and called for a CSM. After 5 other associates had walked by, one of them said I was going to have to wait a really long time for a CSM as they were "really busy". I finally just left. Total time wasted, over 1 hour. Walmart has lost my business forever! I contacted Customer service online and have had no response. I will use Target or any other store in the future. read more

Some shady stuff goin on in this place. I am usually here in the early hours of the morning. I have watched as people I can only describe ad thugs shoplifting this place to the hill. Razor refills, expensive makeups and toletries. I seen this multiple days and on many occasions. The one time I ratted them out, the store employee could care less. I mean these guys were dumping 100's if not 1000's of dollars of goods into these huge thick jackets. Are they splitting profits up with the manager? Did they threaten the manager so she looks the other way? I have never seen such looting in my life. Theast time I was in this same thugs took almost every razor cartridge the had and filled his jacket up and just walked out. Some real shady stuff goin on on here. read more

The corporate for Walmart has contacted me and told me the store manager Lewis would contact me and deal with this? NO PHONE CALL from Lewis! To go into a store and be treated like a shop lifter was absolutely mortifying; I am out contributing to society every single day by nursing. Did I mention I had no bags just 2 boxes.. No purse nothing or bags..They knew I wasn't a shop lifter !! To have their employee commit BATTERY on me and nothing be done about it is absolutely outrageous !! So today I called Walmart at 12 o'clock because I noticed some unexplainable charges to my account. I spoke to one call-center person who did not speak very clear English, and he said that he would pass me to his supervisor. The supervisors name was Mohammed and he was trying to explain how Walmart charges extra after you purchase something. So technically, they fraud you and instead of telling me that they're gonna charge me extra money after initially charging me for my order. Complete bs. Mohammed thought it was a good idea to hang up on me. I called corporate office and complained about the unnecessary hassle and hanging up on me. I want to give a general review for all the Walmart's I've been to not just this store I don't know how so many fuckheads can work in one place simultaneously. I'm so shocked how Walmart manages to stay in business with the lack of brain cells. They hire the laziest and stupidest mother fuckers around. The produce section and the meat section are tiny and constantly out of what you actually need to make a meal. Thirdly. There's a homeless man in the parking lot whose job it is to consistently be present during working hours, and to yell at people who are packing groceries into their cars. Fourthly and most importantly. They have undertaken to a replace as many cashiers as possible with machines, and we have undertaken so severe the cost-cutting measures that it is now entirely possible to check out your batch of groceries while the next person in line is still packing theirs, and the previous person in line is piling groceries on top of yours. Comedy results, or tragedy as you prefer. Myself, I would prefer to visit is supermarket that sells a decent selection of items at market prices. You would do as well.

It was around 10:30-11 PM, and the store was pretty quiet, so I was able to get in and out super fast. I really appreciate that they stay open late because not every grocery store does. I enjoyed the peaceful shopping experience, but also found the shelves to be quite bare, with a lot of the items needing to be restocked. I was able to find what I needed, and this location also had what other locations didn't. The worker was nice and friendly as she helped check out our items. We stopped by JONS Market just to grab a few things to make homemade salsa, tomatoes, canned tomato sauce, onion, jalapeño, and cilantro. After checking out, we noticed there was a Grocery Outlet in the same plaza , so we figured... why not finally take a look? And honestly? I owe Grocery Outlet an apology They carry plenty of well-known brands, and the prices are actually cheaper, not because things are about to expire either. For example, the same canned tomato sauce we bought at JONS was $1.99, but at Grocery Outlet it was only $0.79. Huge difference. I was also shocked (in the best way) to find four different Ning Chi chili sauces (Famous Taiwanese Chili sauce) , all for just $2.99 each, that went straight into the cart. They even had A-Sha dry noodles, a 12-pack for $4.83. For comparison, I once bought a 5-pack at H Mart on sale for $6.99 and thought that was a good deal Other finds: * Arizona green tea (my favorite) for $0.89 - the cheapest I usually see elsewhere is $0.99 * Eggs for $0.99 a dozen (H Mart sometimes has organic eggs at this price too, but only on sale) * Lipton black tea bag, 50-count for $1.99 * A surprisingly large alcohol section with lots of choices The store itself isn't huge, but they carry a little bit of everything: cookware, cleaning supplies, household items, OTC meds, snacks, drinks, alcohol, sauces, meat, cosmetics, shampoo, hair dye, skincare, you name it. Overall, Shun Fat Vietnamese, supermarket market still tends to be cheaper for meat, while H Mart is pricier but usually better quality (worth it when there's a good sale). Personally, I actually found Grocery Outlet easier and more fun to shop than Trader Joe's. With TJ's, a lot of items are store-brand, so you don't really know if it's a good deal unless you've tried it before or seen reviews online. At Grocery Outlet, since many items are name brands, you can instantly tell whether the price is good. They do carry some unfamiliar brands too and those are usually even cheaper.
