****MUST READ FOR ALL WALMART CUSTOMERS AND STAFF ESPECIALLY, PLEASE DIRECT YOUR MANAGER TO THIS REVIEW FOR TRAINING** This is regarding Walmart Management: The manager at this store receives zero stars! Obviously the area that this Walmart is in is heavily affected by the homneless population. So as I was leavin the store today, I will describe the scene I witnessed. The manager (it had to have been, since he openly disciplined his employees for all to see) was damn near screaming at a employee (who was maybe ten years his elder) about a customer stealing a oculus. The manager was upset and said the following "you need to watch these people, they are all LOW LIFE'S and will try to steal from us anyway they can. That oculus was $340 dollars, she could have been fired for that (possibly referring to a female who was watching the door with him). Not to bore you I will just say he was yelling at his employee with complete disrespect and acted like this theft was the old man and woman's fault who worked there. 1) This manager should be disciplined for this. 2) I will tell you from personal experience if you think wall mart greeters and receipt checkers are going to stop a thief from stealing, than you are smoking more dope than the thief is. 3) if your policy is for the greeters and receipt checkers to stop them, than you should be fired. 4) If that's how you think of EVERYONE who walks in the store (because what he said was EVERYONE is LOW LIFE'S) than the smart thing to do would be: Close the garden exit, Hire more lost prevention staff, Replace the greeter/receipt checker with? This would not be very difficult to answer (maybe for this manager because he was an idiot) A member of.... LOST PREVENTION, the thievery will immediately go down. The reason people are constantly stealing from you is because they can, you don't change your tactics (unfortunately this Walmart management team lacks intelligence). Hire more staff and address the problem yourself, stop taking your failures out on your own staff. 5)You just told all your employees (who do not have the title "lost prevention or security") that you will fire them because people come in and steal from your store. GREAT JOB ON THIS ONE! 6)If there comes a point where you have to discipline your staff, what should you do: A) be respectful, everyone makes mistakes including you and treat them how you would want to be treated! B) take them to a office (like a professional manager would, but we're talking about Walmart here) and talk to them behind closed doors. C) Think of a solution for people stealing, the solution is not yelling at your employees in front of everyone walking into Walmart and saying things like "these people are all low life's" and expect the greeters/receipt checkers to stop the heist. J D) THE EXAMPLE YOU SET, IS THE EXAMPLE YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE GOING TO FOLLOW. Unfortunately people like this usually don't change and are too hard headed to actually change their ways. I went into the store to get some shopping done and I went to the bathroom. There is a lock on it that needed a code. I talked to three different people that worked there and they all said that someone had to come open it up with the code. They won't even give you the code. This is the worst display of management I've ever seen. All of the employees told me it was the general manager, Kathy, who initiated this. This is hands-down the worst Walmart I've ever been to tons of things are locked up. The bathrooms are locked up and if you walk around the store, it's very hard to find anybody smiling everybody that works. There looks miserable. Worst Walmart I have ever been to. read more

6 pm and only one register open. Need I say more? Talk about ridiculous. Lots of employees walking around though. By the time I got to the resister the lady wouldn't let me purchase an onion- like one single onion. She kept saying it's sold in a pound bag, but there was no prepackaged onion. Just bulk single onion. I just went to self check out. Honestly I feel like when you go to self check out you should make money back since clearly we are smarter than the employees getting paid to work here. It's pretty sad when you can figure out how to self-ring up a single onion. Yayyyy .49 cent onion. Wonderful. The couple behind us in line also mentioned this is the same lady who always gives them a hard time when they visit this location. She doesn't like to ring up produce and will just say it's not sold that way and will just confiscate it. Which sounds about right. She had a lot of single onions and other single sold grocery items on her counter. She made it seem like any individually sold items would probably come out of her paycheck. Miss produce police. Brought my car to Walmart to have new tires installed. I had made an appointment for 10 am. They took 2.5 hours to complete the new tire installation. Not happy with that but it got worse. I watched the technician use an air gun to "torque" my lug nuts. When I drove off, the car felt like a tank and had a terribly rough ride. I pulled up my tire pressure page and found that they were all over the place. Pressures should have been 32 psi per the manufacturer, however 2 tires had 39 psi, 1 had 42 psi and 1 had 49 psi. I had to go home and let the air out of the tires and re-torque the lug nuts. I later noticed a small vibration when on the freeway. I will have to take it to Americas Tire to have them re-balanced. The worst experience EVER. I called the store and was assured they a manager would return my call. CRICKETS. No return call. Called Corporate and talked to someone who said they would follow up and someone from Corporate would call me back. CRICKETS. Dude on the phone literally said I need to speak better English... because he couldn't hear me. I don't have an accent so I don't know what's up his keister but customer service sucks. Would never enter such a crappy store if it took me so long on the phone to get through and am greeted with such lackluster employees that's given up on any courtesy. Similar experience last night when I called to get a stock check but couldn't get through... The customer service person answered the phone with a quite deliberate and auditable sigh of annoyance. Walmart harassment I came to Walmart to return the iPhone and bed cover I ordered online. In the Walmart app, it is explained that the return procedure is simple if you go to the customer service and scan the barcode. There were three people including me, and my turn was the second, so I stood without using the handicap wheelchair because I thought it would be over soon. As it was my turn, a tall female employee went inside without a word and came out after a while. She disappeared and came out without asking me to wait. I described it as an online order return. I was going to show you the return barcode, but the woman said that cell phone returns are done in the electronics part. She told me to go there. So I asked her if she would do her bedcover here. She said it was there too. When I went to the electric center, a male employee counted out two guests, and I continued to wait. When I said that I came here because I had to return the phone, the male employee said he didn't know and called another employee, and I waited again. After a while, another male employee came and told me to go to the customer service to return the cell phone. When I went to the Customer service, there were 7-8 people queuing up, and the tall woman yelled at me that she couldn't return my cell phone to me waiting in line. I told her they sent me here. She said that the tall female employee said she couldn't do her job because she yelled at me as she stood in line while she was watching other guests do her job, she refused. She yelled at me like I had a problem. Then she said that the guard came to me and said, The woman refused you, so the guard told me to come back at another time. At that time, there was another female employee of short stature working there. I told the guard that she was working, so I would go to her on her return. And a guard was standing at the desk with a female employee, and when the short female employee was my turn, she suddenly went away. And the guard and the tall female employee were laughing at me. I asked them to call the manager because I was being discriminated against by racism. A tall female employee told me that he would get my return. I explained her return instructions to the woman. Then I scanned the barcode and returned it. After the tall female employee looked at my cell phone, the email with the return content disappeared and it was difficult to find. For a moment, I was embarrassed and was about to give up on the return. The tall woman asked if there was a Walmart app, and she found it and returned it. She knew it all. I found the email in the email trash two days later. In the meantime, a short female employee came back and accepted the return of another customer. I was so angry that I silently cursed her with my own words. I was going to finish my return and a female customer kept telling me to apologize to the short female staff, so you didn't see everything, so she kept talking to me even though I told her not to say so. How could the security not even protect me in this situation? At the exit door, a female employee checking receipts stands in front of the exit door and she yells at me to never come to Walmart again. I started filming a video and asked the employee who told me not to come to Walmart to call the manager. The female employee didn't say that to me anymore. She tried to explain the situation to the manager and make a complaint, but the woman manager didn't listen and kept cutting what I was saying and she made me even more upset that she was yelling at me that, like a robot, cell phones don't accept customer service. So I talked about the return order in the Walmart app, and said that you should write a description to go to the Electric Center in the return guide order field in the app. I'm trying to explain to you. I never yelled at you. I explained to the manager that it was hard to breathe because I was sick. A tall woman showed up and gave me a piece of paper that said 1-800-Walmart. They told me to call and tell them about my complaint. When she asked the woman who I was, she said she was the security manager. The manager, the scoffing guard, and the security manager were all around me and I was scared. I just came out . They were on their side. Walmart employees are not helpful at all. Can't believe it's been more years than I would like to admit since we seriously shopped here. An old TV finally just died unexpectedly....and I wanted to replace it quickly with a newer yet cheapest smart LED TV as possible. Checking several online including the big 'prime' one, I found just the right one at Walmart. Online and ready for curbside or instore pickup. The lovely missus was happy about that as she made her shopping list. Got the TV and now it is up and down the major aisles. One great plus is that we found a shopping scooter outside and the missus found it fully charged. What's next on the list. Another aisle we mssed and we find ourselves going in circles..wait where is the fruits and vegetables section ...we asked...not at this Walmart..only some very limited promo items, and same for some bakery goods too. We managed to get perhaps 75 percent of the items on her list. I didn't want to selfcheck out and found a shorter line. Walmart was a great experience buying a cheaper model TV that was easy to set up. We will continue to use this Walmart store for any unique products. read more

I received the worst customer service that I can recall in a long time. I contacted Walmart after a package was not delivered when promised. The tracking indicated the package arrived in Bell California. I live in Orange County, about 30 miles south of Bell. The package was en route to Sylmar which is about 34 miles north. It was in Sylmar a few days with notation that my apartment number is missing but was corrected. I don't live in an apartment. So Walmart has a chat system. Agent Melany told me she contacted the 3rd party seller who would be in touch with me today. She gave me a reference number and directed me to come back today if I did not receive a resolution When I got off work, I saw the email saying a package had been delivered. My husband was home all day and NOTHING was delivered. I contacted the help center as directed to report I was not contacted as promised nor did the delivery arrive. Eli didn't care about the reference number and wanted me to start all over with the information. He took a VERY long time and eventually told me that he confirmed I will have a delivery tomorrow. I asked how that can be when my tracking shows it had been delivered to Sylmar. Oops. He made a mistake. He then keeps me waiting an even longer "moment" as he referred to it. Then he informed me I will be contacted tomorrow and to follow up with a call to them tomorrow if this remains unresolved. That's when I asked for a refund. Of course he has to transfer me to Tiffany for that. She didn't care about the reference number either. What a scam. read more

We literally walked out and these 2 employees were showing off their shirts with writing near their breasts, which is really innopropriate since there are kids around?! Ugh! I placed an order online, and got notified that it was ready to pick up. When I got there, I was waiting at the curbside pick-up space for 15 mins with no sight of any staff bringing my order out. I walked inside and asked to pick up my order. Well, then I was told that they misplaced my order and the staff could not find it! He said the only thing he could do was to cancel my order and refund it. It turned out he has not cancelled my order yet. I am a disabled Vietnam vet. I have a wheelchair a special cane and a walker. Today 01/27/2024 Saturday at Walmart I needed to P/U some shelving. I was using my walker and special cane to complete the task. Believe me if you've never been confined to a wheelchair or walker you can't appreciate how difficult it is to do anything. After I made my purchase I exited thru the gardening exit. I had parked in a parking lot that doesn't seem to get much use I loaded up my shelving and drove home. As soon as I parked my car and started to unload my purchases I noticed my special cane was missing. I began a frantic search in my car for it and finally realized I had left it in the parking lot at Walmart, the lot where nobody parks. I immediatly called Walmart security explained my situation leaving my name and phone number, I said Thank you and hung up resiging myself to the fact that my cane was gone. I was thinking that a homeless person probably found it and I hoped he at least got a good price for it when he sold it. Remember I said it was a "special" cane. About an hour later my phone rang, it was security and they had my cane. I'm going to pick it up now. I don't know any details but I want to thank security for recovering my cane and calling me ASAP. I loathe the "centuries" that they have standing at the door that will hold the EXIT line up just so that you can find your electronic receipt to get out the door. Using Walmart pay makes no difference whatsoever, although I use it for my own reasons, not having to bring in anything and not having to worry about a paper receipt, I always turn off my phone because I'm always running out of battery. Yet they make me turn on my phone they make me open the app although they have terrible Wi-Fi here and I get terrible service in this store, I MUST find a receipt to show them that I purchased $150 worth of products OR ELSE I DONT leave the store ... even though I just came literally 10 steps from the cashier. I hate shopping at Walmart. California law states I don't have to show my receipt at a door unless I have AND PAY a membership FEE to shop there ... there is NO ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE at Walmart ... it's free for everyone to shop. I don't show my receipt when I walk out of a grocery market, I don't show my receipt when I walk out of a department store, I don't show my receipt when I walk out of a restaurant, I don't show my receipt when I walk out of a watch store, heck, I don't even have to show a receipt when I walk out of a freaking Apple store for Pete's sake! C'mon now! Figure out a different way; make more security in the store, do something different. This is the worst Walmart in Orange County. They hired a bunch of clueless and lazy employees. I was at the store tonight at 8:45pm (9/13/21). I asked three employees to unlock the cabinet for me so I could buy some hair gel and hair wax. First employee told me "keep pressing the red button and eventually some will come." Second employee told me "keep pressing" and he walked away. Third employee told me she doesnt have the key and there is nothing she can do. I pressed the damn stupid red button at least 50 times and waited over 25 minutes for someone to show up. Not a single person showed up. I saw a bunch of employees walking around talking to each other. Why lock everything up and nobody has the key? I left $300 worth of stuff behind and walked out the store. This is the reason why people stop shopping at Walmart and go to Target instead or shop on Amazon. Stop hiring clueless and lazy people. I always have issues with this store. The store is clean and well organized, but just had a terrible experience today. I ordered something for pickup and it didn't have all the parts, so I brought it in to get an item that had all the parts. The guys behind the help desk stood there talking in a personal conversation without acknowledging me at all until I interjected. They were slightly rude and mostly awkward and unhelpful about the exchange. I just wanted to straight exchange, but instead they gave me a refund and I had to go re-purchase the item. I checked out, selected the option to have the receipt text messaged to me and then upon leaving the store they wouldn't let me leave without a paper receipt. It was super frustrating because I was in a rush and the whole experience felt tense and unaccomadating. Otherwise the store was well organized, clean, parking was good. The garden section was extremely limited, it looked like a ghost town out there and several items throughout the store were behind locked glass doors. read more

I went to pick up and it was more junkier looking than I remember...but I told myself let's just give it a try. Do not shop at Walmart. As a matter of fact I'll be canceling my subscription. Also do not use the coinstar machine at Walmart. Sure the machine works to take your money but once you go take your receipt to retrieve your funds that you put in the machine somehow their system is down? This was for $10.97. this happened to me yesterday and I went to two different Walmarts and no you cannot go to another place that accepts coinstar. Each grocery store gets a kickback from having the kiosk in the store so you have to go to the store that you cashed your coins in. However they were able to cash one for over $100. Walmart may have everything you're looking for add a cheap price but now I decided to take my business elsewhere. Even the manager couldn't override the system. This is your run of the mill Walmart, but it may be harder to find parking because it is located next to a Costco Business Center. As with many Walmarts, there are the occasional solicitors standing outside. Usually I decline their offers, but I at least acknowledge them because it is a non-thankful job. This location has a McDonalds inside so a lot of times you will see the line there spill out into the Walmart section. I notice that this Walmart doesn't have similar sales of on clearance items like other Walmart stores. I think that is usually the store manager's decision, which they seem to be frugal with the sales. In addition, it took me awhile to find a price scanner because they do not have a giant sign that indicates a price scanner location. You have to walk around and look at the columns in the middle of the walkway to see if there is an attached screen for pricing. The selection of greeting cards here are sparse and I have seen many damaged ones left back on the shelves. On a positive note, the self-checkout lines are always available since most people who shop here choose to stand in a cashier's line. It makes my purchases go by much faster. read more
