I took my 2003 Toyota Tacoma in for service because my check engine light wouldn't turn off. I had recently replaced the battery, but after only two weeks and less than 100 miles, the light was still on. Jeremiah and his team diagnosed the issue, cleared the codes, and let me know that my water pump was on its last legs. They advised me to closely monitor my temperature gauge and strongly consider replacing it sooner rather than later. The check engine light stayed off until I was just 10 miles away from my smog testing appointment. Rather than miss the appointment, I went in and explained that I likely wouldn't pass. I called Walnut Creek Auto Pros, scheduled an appointment to replace the water pump, and asked them to check the EVAP codes as well. After the repairs were completed, I returned to the smog station and passed without issue. I took my car to this shop for A/C repair (2007 Lexus ES 350) based on excellent recommendations. This is the first time I have taken my car to anyone but a Lexus dealership. I agree with all the positive comments about Jeremia's honesty and integrity. Unfortunately, the mechanic doing the job made a very costly mistake when fixing the A/C (damaged ECM (computer), resulting in the car not starting. Jeremiah stepped up, owned the mistake, offered several options to fix it and, at my request, had it towed to the dealership for repair. Jeremiah paid the very expensive bill from the dealership no questions asked and even lent me his daughter's car while my car was being fixed. I paid for the A/C repair bill as agreed upon and everything is working fine now. Due to his honesty Jeremiah was out of pocket quite a bit for this mistake but I am not sure you are going to find a more honest and trustworthy auto repair shop and owner. Even though he or his mechanic made the mistake, Jeremiah did everything he could to make it right. He even cleaned the oxidized headlights at no cost and has offered me a discount for the next service if I should bring my car back to his shop which I plan to do. read more

On at least two occasions I called and scheduled an appointment to fix something and when I brought it in and the service person checked out the problem they made a quick fix on the spot and didn't even charge me! You can trust these guys I got a quote from Pep Boys for almost $1500 I took it to them and they told me that half the work at Pep Boys wanted to do was not necessary ended up getting the car fixed up for $237! We were in a pinch and Jeremiah really helped us out this time. My wife's car died on the way to taking our kid to school. I managed to get the battery replaced on the side of the road and it started right up, however it continued to have a burning smell and smoked. Mike's been working on our cars for around... well, let's just say a long time. Auto pros only works on Hondas and Acuras, and they are scrupulous, honest, and detailed. Their shop is cleaner than most hospitals, everything in its place. They are also really busy, so you should call and make sure that they get you an appointment. If it makes sense, they will look for a used part, but only if it makes sense (they got us a radiator for a lot less). It's rare to travel far and wide to get service, but Mike is worth it! read more

I recently bought a used car. I had an issue with the battery (replaced it) and after that I had the battery die again. I completely freaked out. After reading ALOT of comments on Facebook treasure talk, Yelp and word of mouth, WC Autopros was the place to go. I called the shop and they were closed (Fri at 7pm) and didn't open till Tuesday, but the voicemail said to send an email. Based on reviews, I decided to contact them. I didn't know that they specialized in Hondas and Acuras so was pleasantly surprised. I also accidentally came a week earlier than my appointment date (totally my fault) and yet, they were so accommodating. I've always gone to a dealer until now so I was a little hesitant. I don't know what they do that's any different than a dealer but for some reason, my car runs better. As someone who doesn't know a lot about cars, I also really appreciated that they were honest with what needed to be done. They don't try to upsell. Definitely coming back for my big 100,000 mile maintenance! Tip: If you schedule early, there is a chick-fil-a a block away, and Starbucks, Coffee Bean and Sprouts grocery store a few blocks away. Mike and his wife are stellar! I was referred by my coworker after multiple dealers gave me hugely varying assessments of my brake life - from 10% to 50% remaining - that's 5x different?! How frustrating! Mike assessed my brakes and advised I had 1-2 years left on my brakes so I didn't need to change my brakes yet. I really appreciated the honesty and customer-focused view.
