We were in AZ for a visit and needed to eat before a concert we were going to. We popped into this Brewery and were extremely impressed. It's not a big place but does have outdoor seating as well. The staff was friendly and our order came out quickly. We ordered a flatbread meatball pizza and it was really good. Crust was perfect and the meatballs were full of flavor, fresh basil on my pizza, yes!!! Some of the best places to eat are hidden away and you have to search them out, this place was definitely on point. Almost forgot to mention the the quirky names for the beer selections, seriously fun. I had 2 Amber ales called "Just be Nice" loved it!! I don't do a lot of reviews but this place deserves the hype. This is a great little local brewery. I loved the relaxed vibe and tasty beers. Food looked really good as well, the pretzel was huge! The garage doors open to the patio made for a nice and comfortable evening. Parking is limited. The area is a little sketchy. I was bummed they didn't have the ESB that others raved about. The ambiance is cool has a great vibe to it and has an awesome patio. They seem to have a lot of events like musicians and trivia night which makes me want to go back. The beer selection had a wide variety and a lot of choices which made my own decision tough. Service was good and I enjoyed our server. The food though was not very good. We're so glad to find this place when having a long layover at Phx airport. It's a short ride from the airport to the 44th St station (light rail connection). Slightly difficult to cross the street but quite a short walk. The interior design of the place is so cool. It used to be an old firehouse. The owners did a fantastic job to remodel it and even have a vintage German VM firetruck. Okay, let me start with the beer and pizza. We two shared a flight of beer and a meatball pizza. We tried 4 malty beers, among which the special edition with tart cherry is a bomb. It's very light, fruity, perfect for summer time. We both loved it most! I also liked the nitro stout, being a dark beer fun. The meatball pizza was real yummy, a perfect thin crust with high quality meat. The owners are very friendly too we had a great time. So if you're looking for a place to have some good beer and pizza around PHX, definitely check Walton station out. It took us 20min each way to go there. read more

I was on a Facebook page about dogs, and someone posted about this place. We have a Belgian Malinois named Walter, so we had to try the Sunday bring your dog happy hour! I was very impressed! The chips appetizer was LOADED with cheese sauce & bacon. We followed that up with pizza, which was also very very good- thin, crispy flatbread crust with ample toppings. I'm a recovered alcoholic, but my wife had a beer & a beermosa, which she enjoyed. And our service was good- food came quick out of the kitchen. I don't drink beer... Anyone who knows me knows this. I might have, on a really hot day, a glass filled with ice, salt on the rim, fresh lime juice and corona light. That's it. I decided to step out of this beer desert while visiting Walter Station and got one of their beer flights. For $10 you get to sample 5 of their tasty libations, but it is a really generous samples, the size of a glass of wine. Let's dive into my flight shall we... #1 Baja Girl Blond...the perfect name for the first one I tried. It is mellow, goes down easily and leaves little aftertaste. One of the attributes of beer that just doesn't sit well with me is the lingering taste. I know for aficionados this is what they want, not me, I want it smooth baby. I can see this pairing well with fish tacos. #2 Coffee and Cream... WOWZA! If there wasn't a name attached to it and someone asked about the particular flavor and notes, coffee and cream is spot on. Now I am not advocating drinking for breakfast, but the moment this hit my tastebuds I wanted a cinnamon bun. Is it weird to wonder what beer would taste like warm? Of course I wouldn't do that, but it gave me that feeling of cold mornings, warm coffee and hot buns. #3 Salt and Sour.... As Lizzo would say, "I've been waiting for this!" Seeing this beer on the menu board was the whole reason I decided to get a flight. I am that asshole that gets wine at a brewery. I know, it's terrible. But when I saw salt and sour, my two favorite tongue ticklers I decided to live a little and actually drink some beer. THIS FLAVOR IS LIFE FOR ME... the tartness gives you that perfect pucker but the salt rounds it out so well that people who don't eat salt and vinegar potato chips by the truckload won't be bowled over. I will say this is, of course, my favorite in the flight. This would be great with some chicken wings or hot chicken sandwich, or anything in my book! #4 Tart Cherry... mild for it's name. It has an effervescent quality that bubble up the nose and is very light. This is the perfect dessert beer and would go well with apple pie. #5 Grapefruit OG Warrior... the last of my flight and the most hoppy. It has a slight taste of grapefruit mixed with bitters. It coats the tongue and in my opinion feels the heaviest of the 5 I tried. It would pair amazing with an old school prepared Caesar salad with actual anchovies. To conclude this flight we ask you all to return your seat and tray tables in their upright and locked position. All kidding aside folks as someone who has always disliked beer I have been continually amazed at the creations of Walter Station and they are slowly changing my perspective on beer. Very open indoor area with garage doors front and back. Plenty of seating with decent patio seating as well. We each had an IPA. One hazy the other West Coast. Both excellent. My first time here and it was awesome, the whole experience. You for walk up to the cutest patio and the band playing great music! We sat at the bar and our bartender, Alan or Allen, was so friendly, very welcoming and made some great recommendations. The Greek salad with their honey mustard dressing was yummy! I can't remember the name of the pizza we ordered but it was the perfect mix of sweet & spicy and cooked perfectly! Theo coffee & cream nitro stout on tap, still licking my lips thinking about it. The beer flights seem to be the popular attraction since the have local beers on tap that I've never heard of before. I will be going back and bringing more people. If you live close and looking for an amazing place check it out. Parking is on the street but not a big deal. read more

Stopped in this rad little brewery today for our Sunday Funday. I couldn't decide on a beer so ordered a flight of beers. The Sun lite, Pugs Pils, and Nitro were amazing. The Sun lite is a perfect day drinking beer, light and hint of fruit. We both loved the American Amber, and were both not typically a Amber beer Fan. My better half got the Pink Moods IPA, and let me try it. It was a solid IPA. He then ordered the Station Session IPA. That was fantastic. I ordered the pretzel bread with beer cheese and gobbled it down, barely sharing. Lol. Everything was amazing, and the staff was super rad. Will be making this one of our regular spots. read more

They have stopped having the lamb pizza that was my top choice. It's literally in an old fire station. They had the courtyard doors wide open, so it's a fair weather place. Hidden gem near the airport. We became immediate fans after our first visit, but are surprised every time how it is never crowded. 3 of the 4 times we were the only patrons on site. Perhaps the location just brings in people visiting Arizona instead of regulars. Either way, come on down - beer is great, space is abundant, dogs are welcome, and the giant garage doors are open! There are a few corn hole games that can be set up on the outside patio, or you can sit inside and enjoy the preserved firehouse decor. The parking lot is tiny, but there is street parking adjacent to the establishment and it is also walking distance from the light rail. We are excited to become regulars! read more
