I love it here. I bring my senior mini poodle here routinely and am always satisfied with his haircuts. My dog is 12 and I've taken him to so many groomers but Wanderer Hub is the first and only place where I felt like the team truly understood how to cut and shape my dogs hair. I typically ask for a full grooming service which is priced by weight + additional handling. For styling, my furry baby gets poodle paws, and a teddy bear face. He comes out looking fluffy, smelling good, and handsome every-time. I like that this location offers extra time and handling. It comes with a price but I think it's worth it since not many places offer that and it's considerate of their time and service. I'm very pleased with the many times I've brought my little baby. We arrived on 8/25/2025 for our cat grooming appointment .If I could score them a zero it wouldn't even do justice. We walked in for our appointment to a pet grooming place of business the size of a closet. The square footage wasn't the problem, but there was no air conditioning. I could not even breath as the air quality was so bad and let me not get started with the stench.It was more than 100 degrees in there and they had a multitude of dogs ranging from 2 German Shepherds plus another huge dog alongside numerous small dogs. I addressed the issue as an unsafe and dangerous environment. My comment was received as heartless and I was called a "Karen" via text. When we discovered the cut on our way home, and he was bleeding they said "come back and we will put a powder on it". Updating my review, I'm not sure what's happening to this place, we use to love it here, unfortunately Alex is no longer there & they have literally gone to the dogs. Today was the second time my instructions weren't followed, last month I requested for the hair on the top of my little girl's head be left untouched, they cut it. Today I asked for a very low trim not a shave but low around her body & legs. They gave her a very light trim & left the hair long on her legs. My dog is very shy & nervous & have to wait to get home to assess her, as soon as I got home I texted them & the rude woman working today said how I only have 5-10 minutes to say something about the cut. If I want to bring her back there's only a slot for today @ 2:30pm or tomorrow morning, I told her I can't until Wednesday she said no, I said ok. I had also messaged these folks on IG & this person says how they're aware I always complain about the grooming LMFAOOOOO which is a lie. Imagine treating dissatisfied customers in this manner in this economy. What they expect is for their customers to accept what's given & not complain after paying their money if I was in a different mood I would ask my back for a charge back. Dog grooming is LUXURY not a necessity this store does not understand that. Lord have mercy. Also, please be wary as they keep unleashed dogs all over the place that will climb on you & they make no effort to leash them or place them in a kennel, the place is wild if you're planning to use for dog sitting. Meldrin responded quickly to my quote request, then we communicated via text messages, phone calls and even a video chat (once the dog was ready for his cut). They made sure I wanted the bald look on my dog and it's perfect! My mom's dog, Eroz, was suppose to get groomed on Wednesday, but Meldrin found a space on Tuesday and did it right away. I wrote a one star review for this business justifiably after the following: I booked specific services and add-ons that weren't rendered during my bath. You know why they didn't render them? They didn't read the notes before bathing my dog. A complete lack of attention to detail. That'd be fine as long as the owner had any interest in operating his business as a professional and offered discounts and make goods when he makes mistakes. He didn't do that when I confronted them after tipping, in fact they hung up the phone on me and told me a discount was me asking for free services. Then when I wrote a one star review, the owner responded by insulting my looks, saying I was cheap, insulting my upbringing, and keep in mind this is all for just leaving a completely bland review just saying "this owner hung up on me and wouldn't offer me a discount". Then he texted my personal phone number at ten pm a week after my review, bragging he had it removed because I also reviewed another location, not because the review was factitious. Then he insulted me again, saying I needed a better job (I have a great one and got my dog groomed every six weeks). This man is the least professional owner I have ever had the displeasure of working with. You're texting me late at night about a yelp review that was true to begin with? YOU DIDN'T DO THE SERVICE, MELDRIN. Me pointing that out and looking for a resolution isn't me being cheap, it's called basic customer service. The whole thing with the grooming was a pretty good experience. They would tell about the "matting" and the cost to correct it. The pictures they would text was a nice touch. It crashed and burned when it came to picking them up. I thought the services and prices included was the cost of the grooming fee but no. All of they were telling me was the extras that came with the grooming. So started as a win win for the cost came down to a lose lose for the hidden cost. Incredibly friendly & professional. It was my first time taking Kibou to a groomer, but they made it such a pleasant experience for us both. The prices are reasonable, the service is personal, staff are very communicative, but most importantly - they were amazing with Kibou. The whole place has a fun comfortable vibe and it felt right leaving him with them. He clearly had a great time too, because he was far more agreeable about the whole grooming thing even at home after spending time with them. I also really appreciate the pictures they take (added bonus: they make discussing adjustments easier) and the feedback they give on how to better groom at home. We rescued a Persian cat last year. We did our best to groom him ourselves but eventually we were overwhelmed by some thick mats forming every time he'd clean himself. We decided that a hair cut was in order. Petness World came to our home and gave our boy a groom and a bath. All of the work happened in our bathroom and I observed the whole time. Our groomer was extremely gentle and informative of the steps he'd be taking. All in all, great job! Our kitty was much lighter and mobile than he had been with all that excess hair. This place is the worst! I took my dog to be groomed and MELDRIN did a horrible job. When I went back for him to fix it the next morning, he became irate and very disrespectful! He yelled for me to get out of his store. I asked for a Mohawk cut and dye and that is not what I received. As a result, I wrote a review and stopped payment. Now he is TRYING to intimidate me by texting me and emailing constantly. He even stooped so low to put my information on his Instagram page. 5 star experience from start to finish! This was my dog's second groom ever in his life. I'm very protective over him and really wanted a groomer that I could trust. The staff at Petness World made me feel very comfortable because they were great with my little guy while being professional and friendly. I also really liked that the owner is engaging. He was able to explain different styles of grooming specific to my dog. He is very detail oriented and truly wants the customer to be happy with the result. But simply put, the dog's health and safety come first at Petness World versus grooming styles that may actually be harmful to the dog. It was a terrible experience from the beginning. They hung up on me when I gave the wrong address, then ignored my calls until I hid my number. They hung up on me again and didn't pick up the phone. They never sent me the new address despite saying they would. I had to walk to the old address then to the new one with my older dog who has arthritis. I explained she was slightly matted due to not being able to have baths for ear infection treatment and understood a dematting fee. Also big dogs are in this tiny room roaming around freely while the small dogs are left on small grooming tables so the big dogs don't harm them, which doesn't seem safe or right.. Once I left I started getting photos of her matting, which feels demeaning. I then got photos of her lumps, bumps and skin abnormalities, and had to explain that she is almost 11 and therefore has lumps, bumps and skin abnormalities. I was then informed that moving forward I will be charged a "special care fee"... as if they don't use special care for all their dogs. Once I took her home I noticed that all her lumps and bumps had been cut open. They didn't care to take their time and hurt my baby. I have held off on posting a review because of other reviews where it seems the new owner harasses and insults the unhappy customers, but I have to share this awful experience. And to the owner, if you reach out to me once to demean or harass me, I will be ready with my lawyer to press harassment charges. You DO NOT have permission to contact me at all. Update for Meldrin: I take wonderful care of my dog and have never had complaints. I've also NEVER had her return with cuts and you cut her bumps at least 5 times, badly. Sounds like a bad groomer... This place has an exceptional service minus few minor details. They picked up my cat from my Williamsburg apartment and brought him back while I WFH. I was informed with every step they took and sent me pictures of my cat. My cat Snowie does not like getting groomed so it totally makes sense that his paws still had some fur but they did their best to not stress him out. This place was a literal GODSEND! I was unable to find a way to get my senior chihuahua's teeth scaled without anesthesia. Her vet recommended a specialist which would have cost me an arm and a leg, literally thousands. In comes PETNESS WORLD, and low and behold they were able to scale her teeth and clean them without any anesthesia, they also were able to groom her and she came back like a 4 yr old pup even though she was 15. The man who took care of her was actually a vet from another country and their family owns many practices there, so I felt like she was in good hands with her tooth scaling from them. Their card machine was out of order that day, but aside from that anything was smooth. I paid old school with cash, and Dharma received a fabulous lion cut, and they sent me pictures of her after the grooming and bath. This was the day after Halloween, so she was posing with a pumpkin. After three years of being their customer I cant believe how poorly my dog and I were treated today. This place is absolutely disgusting. I receive a text message saying 'we noticed some redness' followed by a picture of what was clearly a very large cut on my dogs groin area. Something that was very obviously done while under their 'care'. when I go to pick him up I let them know that it's definitely a blade cut, and they took absolutely no responsibility or accountability for what they did to my dog. While mistakes do happen, they tried to make it seem as it was something that was already there and they have no idea how he got cut. They are manipulative and misleading. The owner got very defensive over what poor service on their part. They provided absolutely no customer service or support and basically told me tough luck. The women at the front was completely useless and couldn't even bring up previous records from my time there. And claimed it was just 'irritation'. Last I checked, you aren't the groomer. Just trying to cover for this sorry excuse of a business. So disappointed this is how they treat their long time customers and completely disregard your pets safety. The place is crowded, disorganized, incredibly hot and the staff is quite frankly incompetent. They will never see me again. If you care about your pet at all DO NOT COME HERE.
