I accepted one of them, and I also want to say that I genuinely apologized for my part in how things escalated. Just one business day later, Jon-Michael from Technical Support contacted me and scheduled a new installation date. Mike (hands down their best technician) came out, quickly diagnosed the problem, and set up a new system that has been working flawlessly ever since. I can't say enough good things about Mike's expertise and professionalism. Logan also helped get the system configured and running smoothly from the virtual support side. I am now more than happy with Cityside Fiber -- both as an internet provider and as a company overall. If you're having any issues with Cityside Fiber, my strong advice is to escalate to one of the people mentioned here. Strider, Jon-Michael, Mike, and Logan are all true professionals who will do the right thing for you.

The actual fiber service is fine and fast when it is working. It just keeps dropping regularly and of course at bad times like Teams calls or when watching the game. Perhaps because they are a new service in the area. I miss Cox, especially when I have to reach out to Cityside's customer service or "concierge." They are pretty bad. I wanted two Ubiquiti APs (one on each floor), several Ubiquiti PoE security cameras, and two CAT6 drops into bedrooms which the builder didn't add. Starlight Tech was able to take care of all of this and the best part was minimal holes in the drywall. There were some small holes that Mike told me about ahead of time, but they were small enough to be covered by standard wall plates. On the day of the install, Starlight Tech was here on time, worked together to make sure everything was done in a clean and neat manner, and made sure everything was fully up and running before leaving. They even came back on a second occasion because I was still waiting to order a final security camera. I've recommended Starlight Tech to my neighbors and highly recommend them for any networking or cabling job needed. They are extremely detailed and are excellent at problem solving. When I go to the store, I typically get decent info but it's usually after a 30-60 minute wait. Today, I got in quickly but now I'm waiting for the biz account manager - a huge waste of time. Stay away from VZW!!!!! After I finished writing that, the Biz Mgr (Archie A) arrived and spent about 45 min sorting this issue out. I'm hoping it's resolved now. I spent some time with I believe Dylan and he went over a few things like pricing and plans. He let me know that it sounded like the way my company released my number was not correct so I had to get that figured out before I could move forward with anything in the store. I worked everything out with my company, and I went back later in the day and worked with Blaise. I had to accept responsibility of the line on the phone so they put the lowest plan and then I was able to switch it when I went back to the store. Once that was done, I was able to download the T-Mobile app and add the phone that I wanted to attach to my account as the iPhone 17 was no charge. After that, he helped me updating the new phone and then doing the transfer. I spent a total of eight hours yesterday working on my cell phone. Four hours with Apple and got no resolution and then also four hours with T-Mobile. So it was a long and frustrating day of phone things. In the time I spent with Blaise we talked about a ton of different things. He was extremely nice and it was great conversation. I really appreciate his customer service. For some reason, I am having issues with some items on my new phone like only 80 contacts transferring out of 582 but that might be an Apple issue because they aren't able to resolve anything for me at the moment on their end (relating to my Apple ID). The store got busy and then emptied out a couple of times while I was there and everyone seemed very efficient and they were all very friendly. I am really pleased to have had such a great experience with a cell phone store because that is not typical. Also, Blaise is a rockstar at applying screen protectors. I so remember the days of the roof mount TV antennas and now we pay over $300 a month for internet and TV. The equipment at times has stopped working and I have taken the wifi equipment and wireless TV boxes in to exchange at this store location. Customer service is good and the location convenient.
