Both locations that fight in the Tacoma are located in really bad areas and I haven't just moved into these areas. I was born areas on the east side of Tacoma. The customer service is good. My mom remains loyal to this location that I took her to today. It's been several years and there's lots of ample parking so you really have to weigh it out. This place needs some serious help in the customer service department. I sat at the drive thru window, 2 employees doing something at the register. I waoted 5 minutes only for them both to walk away. I sat for another 2 minutes before finally getting out and going into the store. I asked out loud " is this how you guys practice customer service?". No accountability, just " they were busy". I chose the drive thru due to the last time actually going in, i had to dive on the floor alongside other customers due to the security and a customer getting into a shoot out. Finally once i made my purchase, i was told not to park my car at the window again or next time they wont serve me. Funny how when i speak up, suddenly there's plenty of employees available to look run outside and look at my vehicle. Customer service really needs to be addressed. read more

A lot of these reviews are based off of the old establishment prior to the new build. But I do agree with some things. The customer service is a bit lacking but I also feel as though they encounter sketchy individuals often so their staff is a bit drawn back at times. The store is nice and big for a convenience/smoke shop. It has pretty much everything you can think of inside. Drinks, snacks, candy, ice cream, lol everything. I went here to see if they had a few things for me to pick up and my kid ran straight to the hot food lol so we decided on getting some. The Jo Jo's were great! Pizza was okay but a bit burnt hahaha. I like that the aisles are big and easy to navigate and the prices are average. Not overpriced. So I appreciate the store. Can't speak on the smoke part because I don't smoke lol but I will go back for food and snacks. read more

Why is it that EVERYTIME I come in here there's always an inconvenience on getting coffee (ie. barista is on break, the coffee machine is broken etc.) and there's ALWAYS an inconvenience every other week on quantity of items either there's no more soda, no more chips, or no more candy. Whoever is running management should be fired as you clearly are using the money towards ordering enough items to last the MONTH, elsewhere . I love war pony because they have the best prices for cigarettes. I was so excited when the express location opened for two reasons. 1. It's closer to my home. 2. Because you serve coffee. I'm an uber driver so it saves me so much time being able to make just one stop. Love the rewards program as well. The main reason I came on to write this review is because you have one employee who stands out above and beyond everyone else there. She is always so happy and sweet and so sincere. I had actually stopped buying coffee here for a while because I kept getting poorly made drinks that tasted horrible. Then one day I happened to come by on Andreas shift. She was amazing. She makes sure to make my drinks properly, and lets me try it before I leave to make sure it's right. She knows me as a regular now and it's amazing to get that kind of service. An extremely lazy older woman with long dark hair takes your order on the coffee side. She is very unfriendly and gives extremely slow service. No sense of urgency whatsoever, considering it's a drive thru. Not even worth the wait. Deals inside aren't all they're cracked up to be either. Overall, very poor place. Won't ever come back, I've never been so disappointed in my life. Wow this place is cool. You can get a hot or cold coffee and have your smoke and relax.. it has a drive though so you don't have to get out if your car... The employee are very helpful and friendly. If you need something to snack on they have beef jerky of all kinds, chips, candy, soda and all kinds of glass to smoke your Tobacco products. And if you want cigarette they have by the pack or cartons. Or you can roll your own. I stopped coming here because the lines were always so long, they were going into the streets. Pretty inconvenient for a drive thru, lol. I never cared too much about the customer service, I just get my shit and go. But the other night I came at midnight because I needed a puff bar. The guy was hella rude and seemed fed up from the moment I pulled up. Then he was clearly annoyed that I was asking what other flavors/brands they have. If I'm spending $25 on a puff bar I'm gonna need a flavor I'm happy with, & isn't it your job to help me out?? Anyways after I picked one, he tells me to have a good night in the unfriendliest tone ever, then slams the window in my face. Maybe he was just having a bad night, but I've worked in customer service my whole life and you just don't treat paying customers, let alone human beings like that. I can understand why people don't like to work here but that's not my fault. Not to mention I would've tipped him if he seemed more happy to help me. I usually go to Smoking Willys, they're way more friendly and I always tip them for their service! They never run out of stuff, and rarely have a long line. Dropped A hundred dollar bill there accidently, went back to see if the cashier had found it. He told me he found it and gave it Amber, the manager. She was not there so he gave me the phone number to call her. Every time I called or went in to get it back she wasn't there and never called me back. The next time I talked to the employee who had found it and turned it in, he told me that he told Amber I had come in to get it back and she told him she did not know what had happened to it. He then apologized for not being able to get it back for me.it At that point reported it to her manager who told me he would talk to her and intended to get me my money. When I spoke with him the following day he told me that Amber does not remember having that conversation with that employee and that she does not remember him turning a hundred dollar bill to him!! Needless to say after being a regular customer for years I am done dealing with the dishonesty of the manager!! I now to take it to a higher level I guess!! Very disappointed!! read more
