My colleagues had recommended Bella Vision as I was looking for a place that was in downtown Bellevue, preferably walking distance from the office, which Bella Vision is. Plus, I inquired with Bella Vision online about intaking new patients, and they responded within the same week, making the new patient process and scheduling my first appointment super easy. What a breeze! After checking in, I worked with one of the team members who was super friendly and personable. She did my initial assessment of my eye exam, with the different vision tests before I was seen by the doctor. For my appointment, it took longer than an hour, so something to note in case you have a tight schedule. They take VSP, which is the vision insurance I use, so glad to know they were able to look up my account and get my payment squared away. They also sell different, luxury brand frames here, in addition to contacts. Glad to have a new place to get my annual eye exam in a location that's easy to get to, with responsive customer service.

I've been receiving mail flyers about visionworks so I was excited to see a location near me. I did receive great customer service when I stopped by on Saturday. Both employees were super friendly and helpful. Helped answer all my questions. It had me looking forward to my appointment but what a huge disappointment this turned out to be. Beware! If you have a 5pm appointment and think you will be late, cancel your appointment so you don't get turned away. Won't be coming back anytime soon.

The place itself had lots of glasses selections and was very clean. Service was exceptional. Dr. Sahota was very friendly and answered all the questions I had. I hadn't had an eye exam in four years and she as well as the rest of the team made me feel at ease. Wait times were a bit longer than expected but it was busy and I still got in and out within just over an hour.

What i learned time and time again is that the frame collection is very robust at LensCrafters and has become my "go-to" option. When it comes to Customer Service, I had a great experience at this location. Patience as I went through the frame options as well as thoughtful suggestions made the experience all that more comforting. I know you will always get quoted about 14 days for your frames to come in but mine has never taken more than a week (usually less than a week). 5 stars all around and will continue to come here for the foreseeable future.

I appreciate his sense of humor and kind demeanor. Tatiana who works at his Kirkland Optix location has a great eye for what frame works best for your face and takes the pain out of finding that perfect pair of glasses. First they take your medical insurance information saying they take it just in case they provide…read moremedical service. Then they charge your medical insurance just for looking at your retina image. However, they disclose that the medical insurance will be charged only after the retina image is taken and looked at. When you tell them that they should have disclosed the retina imaging will require charging medical insurance, they get offended saying they were transparent with you. They think transparency means that they told you your medical insurance will be charged after imaging has been already done. Very interesting perspective at transparency of services rendered.

I'm really glad I ended up coming to MI Eyeworks and working with Dr. Corrado. He is very professional, kind, and explains every step of the exam. His eye exam, though still very thorough, was also extremely efficient compared to ones I've had in the past, so I was in and out of the exam room in under 30 minutes which was great! I ended up booking with MI Eyeworks instead of going home to my normal optometrist since I lost my computer glasses and needed new ones ASAP. I also decided to get sunglasses, since my insurance would cover two frames/lenses and I didn't need to replace my regular glasses this year. Leah, who helped me pick out frames and did pricing and pickup, was also very pleasant to work with. She helped me backorder frames since the colorway I wanted was sold out. The initial estimate was 5 weeks, but their supplier managed to get the frames in less than one week! The turnaround time for the glasses was extremely fast, with both glasses being ready within a week of my appointment (my other optometry had a 2-3 week turnaround). I would highly recommend coming to Mercer Island Eyeworks if you're nearby and looking for a new optometry!

The independent optometrist in the back is excellent-- easily 5/5 stars. Their eye exams are thorough, and the entire staff is kind and always pleasant to interact with. They take the time to explain everything clearly and make the whole experience comfortable. Sometimes they run a bit behind schedule, but you can't really rush an eye exam. I appreciate that they take the extra time to focus on each patient and don't cut corners. I'm willing to wait my turn because I know they won't end the exam until everything is just right. That said, if you're there for an eye exam, once you're done keep walking right out the door. The LensCrafters retail side is a completely different story. Prices are extremely high, the service feels more focused on upselling than answering questions, and trying to use vision insurance is frustrating overall. I recommend against buying glasses from them, take your prescription elsewhere.
