I made an Eye Exam appointment which took about 15 minutes. They did not take my Fedvip insurance. I was asked to send my claim to my provider. Appointment is necessary to be seen here. Parking is very limited. They have a large display set up for eye glasses but I left without purchasing any. i used to really like this location but lately it feels like their quality of service is slipping. i have bad mediocre to bad experiences the last 2-3 times i have visited once I went in to choose new frames and the gentleman "helping" me had no opinion or anything to add other than "yeah" and to ring me up. the last two times were pretty incompetent. i made a large purchase and was told wrong information and had to go back to clarify. i was offered a correction on this "misunderstanding" which was blamed on me and I am STILL waiting for any confirmation or refund for the discount offered to me. I'll go to another location once i finally get my refund . also they have no phone number here so it's impossible to do anything once you leave as the phone line goes to Corporate and they are worse and disconnect you. if you see this- I'm still waiting for my refund :) please get back to me read more

We live locally and my boyfriend needed one of his eyeglass nose pads replaced. We walked in on a weeknight and asked if they could help replace it. Fernando at the counter was super quick to help and suggest my boyfriend consider changing the other nose pad so they would be the same. Impressed with his willingness to change out both nose pads and clean his eyeglasses. Thank you! The selection is unbelievable and would go there again to check it out. I ordered my Winston frames on Nov 3. The frames were progressive prescription , I was told 5-10 days and it is faster to receive them in the mail. I have gone thru some treatment for cancer and my prescription changed from my last appt there. I told the clerk I needed to get the glasses ASAP. He assured me 5-7 days. I have received nothing. I have emails about delays. I have called the 888 number and told they don't know why? I have gone to the store twice to inquire and asked for a manager to please call me to help. Nothing. I used to love Warby Parker but big big let down. Don't trust you will get frames in a timely manner. read more

Don't go here for contact lenses they are terrible - not a great optometrist on site. Its fine for glasses. I went for an eye exam last year, Need correction for astigmatism and reading. So bifocals work well for me. I told them that though my astigmatism is not high, I would like to try a contact lens for just that because my current multifocal gives me double vision and is unpleasant to wear, I wanted to just correct that and not for reading, I also picked up a sample of a updated prescription for multifocal contacts which I had originally from valley fair lens crafters. The sample lens they gave me caused severe immediate eye pain, and that was because they handed me an option with curvature markedly different from my eye. Something basic that should not be done and could damage your eyes! The multifocal too was terrible because though I asked for less correction, to avoid double vision, they gave me a severely corrected version where the multivision never went away. read more

My husband and I went for our annual eye exams, and Dr. Patel was absolutely fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions, and I appreciate how kind and friendly she was while also never making us feel rushed. We both ended up buying new glasses because there was a sale going on, and Blake provided such a wonderful customer service experience. He offered really helpful insight into how different colored frames and frames in different styles worked with our face shapes, and he did a great job of helping us find what we were looking for without pushing us to spend more money than we wanted. Horrible. Both pairs of glasses ordered from this location came in incorrectly. One pair showed up in the mail not only mangled and misshaped, but the wrong prescription, the second pair (which I waited over a month for) came in without my prescription in the lenses....they were just clear plastic lenses. Customer service on the phone was absolutely useless. I've had great experience in the past and had expected the same. Waste of not only money, but time. read more

Called to figure out when my glasses would arrive, they told me Two weeks even though I was told a different date when I ordered my glasses. Also cancelled my order without letting me know, then proceeded to order ANOTHER type of lens that I DID NOT WANT. They tried to help, but made things worse. I need glasses to see and they were not urgent with their making and shipping. Very disappointed because I heard good things about this place. Firstly they charge me more than my insurance was telling me I should've paid. Secondly my daughter's glasses started having some hazing inside the lens within six months and she can hardly see. After a lot of back and forth and being accused of her setting the glasses down on the lenses, (which she hadn't done and the Warby Parker Lady even confirmed it) they did replace them but they failed inspection so we had to wait 28 days total to get replacements. As we walked out, we heard her say something about people that time the warranty to get a replacement just before the six months expires which was totally rude as the glasses obviously have a defect. I have been getting Warby Parker's prescription glasses and sunglasses for the past several years. I am very disappointed with the service at this location. I came in to order prescription sunglasses. About 2 weeks later I receive an email saying my order wasn't processed so I have to call with my HSA card. I cannot get through on the phone! Only a corporate number is given not the actual store phone number. I have to come in. A week later I get my glasses and they are way too big! My optician ordered a wide pair for me. Maybe I chose the wide? But if I did I should have been told that. I am not the expert and I should be able to rely on the expertise of the opticians. I came in today to get them adjusted and they fit. About 2 months of back and forth to get my sunglasses!!! Also now Warby Parker takes insurance which I was not told when I was there. I saw it in a marketing email. All together a very bad experience, which is atypical for Warby Parker. I love LG because it's always less crowded than any where else but this location was lacking. read more

First off, when I first gave Warby Parker (WP) a shot, I went to the Santana Row location and had a great experience. So much so that I went back for another pair even though it was out of network (VSP). The employees are knowledgeable, kind, never made me feel rushed, and really patient. So, it was a no-brainer that when my elderly father needed new glasses, I immediately suggested WP. Well one day my mother and I went for a walk through Old Town Los Gatos and saw that there was a WP there! We went in to just take a look and we were promptly greeted and offered assistance by Ella. She was so kind to answer questions and let us know about current offers and new styles without being pushy in any form or fashion. Just straight up wonderful customer service. I brought my Dad to this LG Warby Parker in a heartbeat and Ella and another really nice employee (whom is also absolutely great and is the one who helped me at Santana Row) took care of my Dad and I like we were family friends. They were great at giving us space while always being available for assistance the moment we needed it. Ella is awesome. The one that helped me at Santana Row is awesome. They both deserve raises because I don't think me or my dad will ever shop for glasses anywhere else from now on. No lie. All this time I've been praising the customer service, I almost failed to mention that the quality of the frames and glasses are astonishing for the price. My dad went into WP wanting a daily pair and a progressive second pair at home for when he reads the newspaper or prepares his medicines. Little did we know we would get a 15% discount when you buy two! My dad left there in such a good mood. He can be stoic sometimes and not show much excitement but he left that day unable to hide his smile. I was even more surprised, a few days later, when we returned to pick up the glasses and have them adjusted. Ella fitted him and wore them right out the store. He couldn't stop raving "these are so light I can't even tell I have glasses on"... "everything is clear, I can see so much now". I was almost in tears. I'm so grateful read more

I had a couple problems with these guys. My prescription made me seasick and I ordered glasses that were never made. Still, it's impossible to give them a bad review because they are so accommodating and polite. In the end, they rechecked my eyes and gave me back my money for the glasses. The doctor is amazingly kind. Most of the workers are very knowledgeable and super cool. My experience proves that, if something goes wrong, they will make sure they make it right. read more

This is a review in general for Warby Parker. The Los Gatos location was excellent, but my problem is all the advertising I got for Warby Parker after my eyes were examined. It's so annoying to get any advertising, but to be inundated by as much as Warby Parker does, is atrocious, plus the fact, I don't need to see them when I just had my eyes examined.
