The staff is always so friendly here. They don't work on commission which is nice, you won't feel pressured to buy anything. The store is always well staffed. I've never had to wait for someone to help me. They have helped me pick out glasses and adjust them to my face after my glasses came in. Warby Parker charges just under $100 for most of their glasses and it includes high quality lenses. They have a 30 day no questions asked Return policy and 6 month scratch protection. I've had warby glasses for years and have really liked them. I've been less impressed with their sunglass style and value. I'm not likely to continue getting sunglasses from warby. read more

I'm very disappointed with my 1st experience at Warby Parker. The store is about an hour away from my home so I made the trip and purchased two pairs of glasses, everyday and sunglasses. I received an email about a week after the purchase that the lab was being updated or remodeled and my glasses were delayed. Then I received another mail stating they were still delayed because they had a lab that wasn't open. Then I received another email telling me they no longer had the frame and would not be restocking the frame. Now I'm over 5 weeks without the sun glasses. I responded to the email asking which excuse was correct. Are they delayed due to the lab or are they no longer able to get the frame. I asked if they could get the frame from one of the stores and they said no. I got in my car and drove another hour back to the store and the store still has the very frame on display. I showed them the frame and asked why it's still on the shelf and they couldn't say. This has been my 1st experience with Warby Parker and I don't plan on using them again. read more

I ended up having a very good experience here, and unexpectedly the glasses I found were cheaper than the ones I was looking at at LensCrafters with the lenses etc. I needed. I also really found it helpful that they had glasses for narrow, medium and wide faces; as someone who has previously purchased children's frames to fit my narrow face, it's nice to find a variety here with more style! Staff were helpful every time I went in; I got them adjusted a couple times (plastic frames want to slip down more, so they need to be fitted just right!) and they seem to be good now. You do have to submit for reimbursement through your insurance; they don't handle it. Still, as I say, this ended up being a cheaper option than a place that I would have historically considered a less expensive place for glasses. read more

I found a parking space I front of the store as soon as I got downtown. The store has an amazing selection and much better pricing than the Wheaton Eye Clinic. An associate did ask if she could help and I said that I was looking for non prescription sunglasses and she waved her arms to point out the selection. I continued to look and try on several pairs while she covertly watched me with her back towards me. I did buy a pair of glasses, eventually, and she was very nice and professional with the sale but being watched so intensely was very uncomfortable and intimidating. read more

We purchased frames from WB a few weeks ago and had the lenses made by our eye doctor. My daughter just lost them. In an attempt to replace asap, I called and asked if they had them in stock. (Ordering them would add a week to her having glasses to wear). My city (Naperville) location did not have them, but they had them 30 minutes from home (OakBrook). I asked to pick them up in 2 days. I was told they wouldn't hold them. I indicated that I did not want them held, I wanted to pay for them right then over the phone and come pick them up 2 days later. The two stores spoke and I was called back later saying no they would not hold them. I explained once again that I was not asking for them to be held and that they were denying a purchase to a customer. The person on the phone pretty much said she understood and agreed with me. I have nothing but good things to say about this business. We took our daughter here to get a couple pairs of eye glasses. We were greeted immediately by a friendly young man and he was very helpful. Two other employees also helped us out at various stages of our visit as well. Everyone was friendly and VERY knowledgeable. Everyone was very patient as my daughter tried on probably 25 different frames before settling on the two we purchased. Honestly some of the best customer service I've received in a very long time. Their frame selection is amazing, if you can't find something here to suit your taste it must not exist. Lots of stylish and trendy frames to chose from, hundreds of them. Prices were lower than we were expecting to pay. We got two pair of frames with prescription lens with upgraded blue light filtering for about $250 total including taxes. I brought in a pair of glasses that I'd purchased a while back. They got a little squished so needed to be fixed and adjusted. I only had a minute wait and Steven fixed everything. I also had a very old pair of glasses I'd purchased from my optometrist. They couldn't fix them, but Steven did. It took a little more finagling that first thought, but he fixed them like new. The people working are always so attentive and well trained. I was procrastinating coming in, but I don't know why. I productive and lovely visit. read more

I love the Naperville location. Every time I've popped in without an appointment just to get my frames adjusted or buy prescription sunglasses, I've never had to wait. Someone is always there to help and they're happy to do so. Taz and Kieran are so knowledgeable and friendly, I always look for them when I visit this location. I'd also like to point out that this store is bigger than the Oak Brook location so you don't feel like you're on top of one another when you're shopping for frames or waiting for an appointment. read more

They did not have as large of selection as I expected. Was not able to find a pair of frames I liked.

I went here a couple weeks ago to get an eye exam and new frame/lenses. During the exam, I found that their phoropter (the thing that lets them try different prescriptions quickly) could not get high enough for me. The doctor in the room (Dr. Suman Navalgund) asked me to slouch. I told her that is going to hurt my back. She said "there is nothing I can do" and I felt peer pressured into slouching. I tried to adjust things a bit--I asked if we could move the chair down more (no), could I move the chair back some (no), I asked if the phoropter can go higher (no). She was not open to any solution. Of course I injured my back. I still feel it two weeks later. All Warby Parker would do is offer $50 credit and a retest at a different location. I have no confidence in them now, though, so I declined and insisted I get my money back (they have yet to honor that request, hiding behind the excuse that they can't give a refund "because it is a service"). I exchanged emails multiple times with their support, literally never getting the same person responding to my email twice. Twice they asked me to reconfirm who I was as they played hot potato with me. I got conflicting information; one service rep said they could find my account by email, another said they couldn't find an account under my email. Their customer service department is a hot mess. Someone named "Sam" claiming to be from their "Customer Experience team" reached out to me 5 days ago, saying they'd "be in touch shortly". I'm still waiting, Sam. I decided to go to my usual eye doctor for a proper prescription and confirmed the one I got at Warby Parker was incorrect. Overall I cannot in any way recommend Warby Parker. If you are particularly tall, stay away, they cannot accommodate you, may ask you to do things that will injure yourself, and give an inaccurate prescription. read more

I was hopeful this would be a great experience but it fell short in many ways- the entire process including the exam felt like a used car lot - pushy sales people trying to get you to but way more then you need or want- it was uncomfortable- the doctor asked me what my current prescriptions was and basically wrote me a new one for the exact same - They do not use or accept insurance and the prices for exam are all over the place - Really too much read more

Dr. Suman Navalgund & Dia were both wildly helpful, patient, & kind. I had an eye exam and had to learn how to put contacts in & they both made for an effortless experience. Great experience! Not at all pushy with the sales team. Worked with me to find the right fit and look. Made suggestions but only in helping me find the right pair. The doctor was fantastic, she figured out my previous eye doctor had made my current prescription too strong. She found the right strength and then showed me my current vs my new prescription. It was night and day. Contrary to the other review they do take medical insurance, my eye exam was covered save for a $10 copay and I paid out of pocket for new glasses as my annual glasses coverage wasn't available until January. They explained it all to make sure I was fully aware. Glasses are reasonable in price and my lenses are progressive so cost more. Only negative is they order the glasses from their factory and the wait time is longer to get the new glasses. But o'well. I will use them again! read more
