She must have sensed that we needed a modicum of hope for future nourishment. She said, "you're the next ticket and the food should be coming right up." Good news - it arrived in about 5 minutes. * Cheeseburger: Ordered medium (pink in the middle) arrived well done. * Reuben: Too much sauerkraut. One diner liked it and one disliked it. * Turkey burger: Not bad. * French Fry Side #1: Warm and pretty good * French Fry Side #2: Overcooked, the fries were actually hard. * Sweet Potato Fry Side #3: Tasty but limp Because of the wait time and since the cheeseburger was overdone, the waitress removed that item from the bill. They were accompanied by grilled bread that my partner ended up having with the sauce. I found this dish to be delicious and garlicky. It was to my liking. For my main course, I went with the baked cod. The fish was cooked perfectly. Potatoes were over-whipped but the seasoning was good. I would order this dish again if the potatoes weren't so runny. My dessert were the chocolate chip cannolis and they were the perfect ending for this delicious meal. Our server was Viana and she was super nice. Not only that, but that urinal is so high on the wall that unless you are a man at least 5' 8" tall you must aim upwards to hit the target. Also, there are no paper towel dispensers, only a single hand blower. These might not seem like much, but I know many who would never eat or return to a venue that has such a rest room. That limits patrons to those that don't mind the 'dive bar' facilities. So, if the owners expect to have regular diners they can forget about it, even though the food was good. I will admit the price was a little higher than I was expecting as there is a charge for every add in, to include the milk, for others to be aware when they're ordering. There is parking right next to the next door dry cleaners, with signs indicating parking is only for these two business' customers only.
