We typically find ourselves driving to other towns for breakfast. Well we decided to give this place a try on a whim. It was delicious. We always get the same thing for breakfast no matter where we go, so although we might not be food critics, we've had the same meal at so many places that we can certainly tell when that meal is better than others! I got the egg white omelette with spinach and caramelized onions and american cheese, home fries and toast, my boyfriend always gets Irish eggs Benedict or eggs with hash. Both were delicious! The egg white omelette was fluffy and they didn't skimp on the egg whites! The Irish Benedict was definitely homemade from scratch and tasty! we've been back every saturday this month and got our friends to go too. Not a single complaint from anyone! My husband noticed the calamari also had shrimp which I am allergic to. When the door to the men's room opens, all who are in the venue can see inside, all can even see someone standing at the sole urinal. Not only that, but that urinal is so high on the wall that unless you are a man at least 5' 8" tall you must aim upwards to hit the target. Also, there are no paper towel dispensers, only a single hand blower. These might not seem like much, but I know many who would never eat or return to a venue that has such a rest room. That limits patrons to those that don't mind the 'dive bar' facilities. So, if the owners expect to have regular diners they can forget about it, even though the food was good. Also the wine is over priced at $13 a glass. I gave it 3 stars because of the food, but I may not be returning because of the bathrooms. Good luck Rileigh.

However, any doubts we had about the place were quickly dispelled by our server, Kayla, who told us a bit about the menu. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. So awesome was the food that it felt as though we had gone to a community theatre and discovered that we were at the Royal Shakespeare Company. Each dish was beautifully plated and distinctly delicious, with the accompaniments perfect for the featured protein. The chef knows how to create and present "fine dining." Specifics: We had warm bread with a delicious home made hummus, with lemon and garlic. For an appetizer, we chose the " steak bomb egg rolls" which were served with a very tasty remoulade. We each had an entree. My partner took Three Brothers, a dish that offered shrimp, chicken, and beef tenderloin with haricot verts and whipped Yukon potatoes with lemon basil supreme sauce. I had the pan seared scallops, which were served with roasted cauliflower puree, and apple smoked bacon with dijon and golden raison chutney. For dessert, we had a very ample carrot cake.
