I have had other family members at 2 different facilities in the Northwest suburbs and Symphony far surpassed them. Were there any glitches during the 6 weeks? The answer is yes. But the positives far out weigh any negative experience. All of the managers were exceptional when it came to addressing any issues we expressed. The Administrator to the Director of Nursing to the Social Worker and the head of the Therapy Department and the Reservation Manager were all highly approachable. I would like to mention by name, Lindsay and Andrea, the Occupational Therapist and the Physical Therapist were outstanding. When my family member first arrived at Symphony they could not sit on the side of the bed, could not sit themselves up and could barely walk even with assistance. By the time they left Symphony they were able to walk 200 feet with a walker. My loved one requires dialysis and the fact that Symphony offers dialysis was a Godsend. My loved one had to go to the hospital once per week for chemotherapy and Symphony arranged for transportation. The same for the 10 sessions of radiation they had to have...10 days in a row. If you find yourself in need of a rehab facility I hope you check out and consider Symphony in Buffalo Grove. They, for sure, far exceeded my expectations.

I wanted to write a review a while ago but it's not easy talking about your issues openly with…read morestrangers. This treatment was the only thing that has ever helped me. Years passed I tried all sorts of anti-depressants, some helped a bit for a short period, some made it worse. I grew up in violence, drugs and verbal abuse, this led to PTSD, Depression and Anxiety. The treatment worked, yes it cost more but the results are worth it. I did use my credit card and wish the insurance would see this as a treatment just as much as the anti-depressants they easily cover. I can't speak for some as I seen Anna had a loved one who relapsed or didn't take the treatments seriously. As for me this treatment stopped me from drinking, self medicating and fixed the problem in which was causing me to binge or run from my problems in the first place. The experience for me was about learning, growing and turning a new leaf. If you're going here not to change or not look for solutions, I find that it will be hard for anything to truly help you. You must work on yourself as well as use Medical treatment if you feel you need extra help. This doesn't mean refuse Counseling, outreach programs or whatever may help you with your recovery, whatever that maybe. As for the staff, they are wonderful and make you feel comfortable every step of the way. The whole place gives you the feeling that they are there to help you, offered Counselors if needed and Dr Patel is very thorough with his patients, talks you through the whole process and what to expect etc. Being honest is key to the success of this treatment and I can find no better place to go to than Midwest Ketamine Center. We are planning on moving out of state and I don't think I will be able to change clinics because of trust, I most likely will fly in for my 3-4 month Boosters I hope this review helped. Ketamine has had a dramatic impact on my life and the early results show it's much more successful than anti-depressants being used. Whatever helps you on your path to self healing is a positive. Doctor Jennifer Laube PT works in Emery Physical Therapy, and she is the most professional, knowledgeable and upbeat person. First, she gave me a complete evaluation, accessing how well I can move my neck and knees, and asked about symptoms such as pain, numbness and stiffness. She identified weakness in my hips, glutes, hamstrings and shoulders and began to teach me how to do exercises that will help me stretch, strengthen and straighten up my joints and muscles. To relieve pain and stiffness, Dr. Laube gives me a deep tissue massage and ultrasound. She gave me a lot of professional advices on how to keep correct posture, sit at the computer, how to walk and how to sleep.
