Great service excellent selection of beer and tasty eats with a nice relaxing atmosphere and outdoor seating!

Being a semi-regular visitor to Granbury, I have always wanted to be able to visit Brew Drinkery, especially since I've sampled many, many beers from not just the US, but from everywhere else. My first visit to this location was yesterday, a Wednesday. Two of the people there were the bartender/owner Jacoby, and Mary who was in charge of the selections. Their beer offering was not a printed list, but a list displayed on three big screen TVs. There were 40 taps and only ONE "stable", the Guinness. A few non-Texas beers, but mostly they were Texas crafts. I actually liked that because that was their goal/model. I was able to sample 7 beers I have never tried before. Considering my purchased record at my home store is 707. That being said, if you're looking for a "stable", go next door to The Filling Station. BUT, if you're willing and want to expand your pallette, and you're in town for whatever reason, this is THE place for that. All of their pints are $7-8, a very reasonable price. Came tonight because it was "pint night" featuring Cowtown Beers, four of them. Fired off a flight, enjoyed them all. $10 for all four. Oh yeah, the best part, at least for now, they have the Chimay Cinq Cents on tap for $9.50. read more

Came here today with a group of friends. First off their website and the yelp photos were very misleading. Apparently their website is not up to date and was hacked so they can't update the website. The menu is very limited, but still has decent options. They mainly have pizza but when I searched online it said they had all these different kind of bowls (Greek chicken bowl, Cuban bowl, etc.) Well they only have one on the menu. And the rest is pub bar food. Also it was advertised it was a bar and restaurant, not a bar that happens to serve food. Our experience wasn't terrible, the staff was very nice, we were just expecting more of a restaurant experience, vs ordering at the bar and waiting for food. Overall the food was decent. Just came out kinda slow and out of order. Probably won't be back here in the near future with kids, but if you're looking for a bar with friendly staff, this is that. The bathrooms are really clean too, so that's a plus. read more

I was here a while ago. It was a cold day, but I still felt like sitting outside. Drinking a beer and watching the traffic on E. Pearl Street go by. Lots of good quaffable options. Info on the adult beverage screens is clear enough... I always look for a good APD (ABV Per Dollar) ratio. There are food options too, but have not tried any, yet. There is an app, that you can get updates, and I think earn rewards, with. It's called "Untappd" ( https://untappd.com/ ) : Untappd is a geosocial networking service and mobile phone application founded by Greg Avola and Tim Mather that allows its users to check in as they drink beers, and share these check-ins and their locations with their friends. Brew Drinkery & Bistro is a great little place in the heart of Granbury. They have an amazing selection of beers to choose from. Their food is delicious! They have a large dog-friendly patio that had a fun polka band playing when we were there on a Sunday afternoon. The only downside is they were very understaffed when we were there. I believe it may have only been two workers as the lady taking the orders mentioned to another patron that there was only one kitchen guy there that day. Food took a little longer as a result, and the outdoor tables were not able to be cleared as folks were leaving. Perhaps they were unexpectedly busy when we were there? We still enjoyed our food and drinks, but one could easily see that they needed more hands on deck. read more

Stopped in here while exploring this adorable city. Heard they had over 20 different types of beers. They had a great selection so we did a f light with some sours and ales. Ordered a pulled pork bowl and pretzel bites. If you have not been here, you are missing out!! This was our first time- great outdoor patio area right off square for people watching. Inside has an entertainment room for bands. We were lucky to go on a night of acoustic and EJ was amazing!!! Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They have wide variety of beers on tap and several wines- let you taste to choose. If you are a liquor drinker- they do not have bar. The lemonade cider and choices of wine worked for me. We had the pretzel bites and cauliflower crust pepperoni pizza and they were amazing!! Entire experience was great! Will definitely be good back and recommend you all do the same! read more

Visited this place a couple times while I was out in Granbury to work the Tough Mudder event earlier in the month. Super thankful for Untappd and Brew Drinkery utilizing that profile. With that being said, they have a great rotating tap list and I was beyond happy to see how they had a plethora of stouts to choose from. One of my biggest pet peeves is when beer bars have little to no stouts. They have some pretty great drink specials throughout the week too so make sure to check up on those! The food is great too! The first time I had their pizza and the second time I had one of their bowls. Both were filling and yummy! If I'm ever back in Granbury then I will definitely be visiting this place again. read more

Good option with live music in Granbury. We enjoyed seating outside and listening to the Jazz band. Creative decor and menu. I end up always ordering the Django Reinhardt pizza with Brie cheese, arugula and grapes. It's delicious. They have a variety of tea and coffee also. The jasmine tea is very flavorful. Brew is a great place to hang out with your friends, enjoy some drinks, and not feel pressured. My group meets up here often and we have kindly been obliged with changing what is on the big tv wall to suit our preference. Dogs are allowed as well. Nice patio out front but can be noisy with the street traffic. The food is good but nothing heavy. Small pizzas, and salads are most popular. The staff is great and I have no complaints. read more

We love the beer selection. It's really the only place in Granbury to find a great selection of beers. The Brew house beers stand up pretty well to the other local brews as well. The food is good. Not great. But we like the pretzel bites and the paninis. Patio is always fun and you get to watch the crowds of Granbury walk by. It's a routine stop for us on our ventures. read more

As a professional restaurant and hotel reviewer, I must highlight this review is based on 3 collective experiences over the course of a year. It is also based upon my own personal discussions with local folks who have visited The Brew Drinkery in Granbury TX. This place is definitely in a class of it's own and is located just a stone's throw from the famous downtown Granbury Square. You cannot compare it to anything else in the area!!! It has an eclectic vibe, with newly painted bright colors, fun decor and even a front yard patio complete with covered picnic tables where you can share a fresh baked pizza and a pint of your favorite craft beer with friends. This is not a restaurant where you are seated and served, but rather an authentic and fun drinkery where you can meander outside, sit at the bar and watch the game or simply hang out in a cozy place and sip on your favorite coffee drink. They have a succinct menu that pairs well will their craft beers as well as their non-alcoholic root beer (my favorite). The food was excellent all 3 times. I've had their cauliflower crust pizza as well as their hand tossed pizza, elotes and southwestern style bowl. I've had no complaints. The only potential issue I've experienced was food availability during an unexpected crowd one evening. I cannot fault the venue for having an unexpected crowd. That was on one of the 3 visits. We hosted a birthday party here 6 months ago and the owners and staff were super attentive to our needs, requests and any potential issues we ran into. In light of staff issues, everyone we have encountered has been kind, helpful and professional. In over a decade of reviewing, I have to say ALL businesses have a lapse on occasion but we have yet to experience anything but quality customer service during our visits. This is neither a 5-star bougie dining establishment nor is it a 'bar' environment. It has a craft brewhouse feel with a comfy pub community and outdoor beer garden area to boot. They offer live music indoors, fun events and specials on food and drink, so check their social media page for upcoming events. If good friends gathering to connect and sample some incredible craft beers and share a pizza (or not!) is your thing, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Brew Drinkery. Also...come see the changes they have made and say hello to Ginger! I recommend the St Arnold's Rootbeer and the Prosciutto/Arugula pizza on cauliflower crust! Then again, I'm always looking for the extra thing. They did not disappoint! Simple. Succinct. Eclectic. read more

Such a great addition to downtown! It's literally steps from the main square streets and tucked in a small side building. Owners say a patio is coming soon and that will really solidify this as a downtown must go. They are neighbors with the Fusion table so in addition to coffee and a massive variety of beers on tap, they will have some of the best food in town. read more
