Came out to fix my shattered window at my home within less than 24 hours of me contacting them for a quote. Their price was very reasonable and quite a bit lower than some of their competitors who weren't able to provide the service as quickly nor included the window tint without charging extra. I recently had to have the windshield replaced on my new 2018 Hyundai Elantra. I left a message and Ryan responded right away. He needed more information from me. I haven't had a windshield replaced in a while and didn't know about all of the changes in them. Now there are sensors for all of the new advances. And they cost a lot more. That is from all the other quotes I had. Ryan's price was very, very reasonable. And he gave a lifetime warranty. I live in California and we don't have glass coverage that so the cost was all on me so the low price was appreciated. I had just replaced 2 tires from something I ran over on the freeway. I had to change my 5 star to a 2. The first time, Ryan did a great job and he was really sorry to make me wait and gave me a big discount. The chip in the windshield was virtually invisible. But when I brought it back like 8 months later to fix a 2nd chip, he had someone else do it and did a horrible job. It didn't even look like it filled anything. I complained and Ryan said there's nothing he can do. Fast forward another 8 months, I got a new chip on my windshield, I decide to go with somebody else, and this new guy was a pro. He explained his technique and how others shops makes mistakes. He fixed the new chip like it never existed. I showed him the 2nd chip repair that was done horribly and he said he'll give it his best shot. Well, it worked. Completely gone. So I'm really disappointed with American Warriors Auto Glass. The experience at this auto repair shop was less than acceptable. This establishment was selected based on the favorable Yelp reviews. However, the manner in which business is conducted was disappointing. After contacting the shop via Yelp Chat, I explained in detail the nature of the damage to my windshield, the vehicle year/make/model, the requirements by the manufacturer, warranty, etc. I was assured the repair could be completed without issue, then provided a quote and appointment time. I arrived at the shop and was greeted by (possibly the receptionist) a very nice young lady who kindly asked us to have a seat. Another lady (seemingly too busy to introduce herself, acknowledge or give any details as to the process) asked for my keys and provided to someone in the back, who proceeded to move my car (without any communication to me btw). So I ask this busy lady, should I wait or how long will it be? "About 2 hours...we'll call you" she flippantly replies. (I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt and figured she was not having a good day!). So I let them know I'll come back...the nice receptionist exchanged pleasantries and I was on my way home. Before I reach my front door (20mins away) the Manager calls and shares he does not have the part after all and will have to order it, and it will cost double what was quoted!!! Upon my return I ask to speak with the Manager to see if we could arrive at a fair compromise. You know, where he apologizes that he confirmed all the details previously discussed, and that I had to turnaround and come back. And that he's sorry he did not take the time to check the specs before I left the first time and as a goodwill gesture he'll honor the quote or some other reasonable response. You know...how good Customer Service is executed. Firstly, we had the prior conversation as to the make/model/recs for my vehicle, secondly, why didn't you review my vehicle carefully when I arrived? The appropriate action would have been to establish any issue before I left, but more importantly why tell me you have the part and schedule an appointment? Better yet, acknowledge you made a mistake and honor what was quoted!! I'm a firm believer in supporting the small business especially during these economic times but the lack of Customer Service and the nonchalant disregard of people's time and money is disappointing. Needless to say, the Manager was not willing to honor his quote, therefore I will be taking my vehicle elsewhere. read more

Like I said, a little communication during install about the "blatantly obvious bad condition" would have helped smooth over the problem. I gave you credit where it's due and acknowledged that you were willing to quickly come out and "clean up" the rest (although you really didn't do much cleaning - you walked off, I had to call out from behind you before you returned and took a razor blade to one spot on the glass). Your demeanor remains the main reason for my negative review.** I chose this place to fix my windshield based on their excellent reviews, but unfortunately my experience with them was very different. The quality of the work done on my replacement windshield is not what I expected, and the way the owner (Ryan) chose to address my concerns is the main reason I'm writing this review. I initially contacted them thru Yelp for a quote to repair two chips, and they responded promptly with a very reasonable estimate. I scheduled a mobile chip repair and the tech arrived within the given time window, but after checking out the chips he determined that it would need to be replaced instead. I was told to bring my car into the shop for installation the next morning, and the price they quoted me was again very fair. After a confusing couple of phone calls regarding my (in-shop) appointment, they said that they would actually just come to me and do a mobile repair for the same price (cool thanks!) The tech arrived on time and the replacement seemed like it went fine. I paid (before looking it over very closely, oops); he left. Soon after, I noticed a couple issues. There was messily applied black windshield adhesive smeared on the roof/paint/windshield in several places and not cleaned up. The rubber on the cowl at the base of the windshield was left looking jagged and terrible. I contacted them again via Yelp and the owner, Ryan, immediately called to discuss it. I asked if I should clean/scrape the adhesive off myself and was willing to do so, but he insisted on coming back to do it himself. However, my main concern was the damage to the cowl, which I do not believe was removed during the installation as it should have been. I appreciate that Ryan was willing to stop by and address this, but he was standoffish and rude from the second he pulled up. He was adamant that BMW's specifically have this rubber issue, "it falls apart with the slightest touch". I agree that rubber doesn't last forever and my garage-kept car is 6 years old, but the only way I could reproduce the damage they did was by peeling the rubber back/purposely picking it away. If the cowl had been removed I don't think it would have been manipulated in this way. At the very least they could have let me know it would be left in this condition. When Ryan went to look at it I actually had to ask him to stop picking it apart, to which he responded, "it's falling apart anyway". He left without attempting to come to any sort of resolution. I'm still scraping black adhesive off my blue paint and new windshield glass, and had to order a replacement cowl which cost me almost as much as the windshield did. To summarize: inexpensive windshield replacement, messy installation, argumentative owner. You get what you pay for. read more
