    Fat from steak
    Aleatha H.

finally decided to try this place after looking for a hibachi restaurant that was close to home. Well this one isn't it. The positives: food was prepared quickly, steak was tender and portion is very generous. The negatives: super fatty ribeye steak (see photos), bland as hell...had literally zero flavor. I had to drown it in yum yum sauce to make it edible. Noodles are extremely overcooked, just not good at all. I gave it two stars for the portions and tenderness of the steak but overall I will avoid this place.

Little place that is perfect for take out! The best part about this place is the yum yum sauce. I believe Japanese restaurants should be rated on a 1-10 scale solely on yum yum sauce. If that was the case it would get a 10! Alas, I had Wasabi role: crab, spicy mayo, crunch, cucumber, avocado, masago, and their home made creamy shrimp sauce. Decent for to-go! Beef Fried Rice, great portion and big pieces of beef. Yum Yum made it better! A hidden little gem in Fairview Park!

We got the tofu teriyaki and it was delicious! The service picking up the food was good too.

First time at the Wasabi Express. I have read a lot of local good reviews so I thought I would check it out as s quick go to. It's in the neighborhood so what the heck. The restaurant is clean, sparse, and quick. I would love to see counter or high top table service. My husband and I both ordered the hibachi to go, one shrimp and one salmon and the Fairview Roll. The food was hot, but a little too overcooked, the veggies were too soft and soggy. Don't get me wrong, the portions were HUGE, but with a quick service my concern is food sits for a quick reheat. Did I mention they offer WiFi, Apple Pay and delivery. This won't be the last time, I look forward to trying it again.

This place is amazing. They literally gave me enough food for like 5 days. The price for the portion size is crazy!! So much cheaper than other similar places and honestly it was better. I got the chicken teriyaki with noodles. The food tasted incredibly fresh the chicken was all well seasoned white meat. The teriyaki sauce is perfect. I'd recommend extra veggies if you like a lot there was definitely a good amount but most of the bulk was chicken and noodles. Now that I know I don't have to fear not getting enough noodles I will get half fried rice half noodles next time I also want to try the steak it looks great. I think they make their own ginger sauce as well tasted house made. The tempura shrimp were crispy and delicious. The crab rangoons were also really good but I wish they came with sweet and sour which is my only very minor complaint. Still 5 stars this meal was delicious and affordable. Online ordering was easy also. Will definitely be back soon!

Wasabi express is the best!! I've only gotten Uber eats from there but they seal the bag up which is so appreciated. So much food and you can tell it's fresh!

Come with a huge appetite the portions are huge and the prices are low and reasonable Classic JAPANESE and CHINESE carry out. You can watch them cook your food. The staff is very friendly I ordered steak chicken and shrimp. Wow tasty and enough left over for another meal. They just opened up and are worth the trip

My husband and I love this place! We were weary to try it but we are so glad we did. We've only tried the steak & shrimp and steak and chicken hibachi and we got a tip from another person to add more vegetables for an extra $1. They have a drive thru window that makes it easy for pick-up and they give you so much food and it's always ready on time!

Basic Japanese and Chinese take-out. Japanese selection is hibachi, cooked on the spot, with a limited selection of sushi rolls. Not a great place to dine in, although they do have spots to stand and eat.

We were able to order off of the half prices menu since it was Tuesday which offers a large amount of rolls from more traditional ones to their house specialties. They also have a huge menu along with a totally vegan menu so you are bound to find something you will enjoy. The packaging was excellent for takeout and everything arrived properly and in tact. We even ordered extra sauces and they were sealed tightly. The price is great for the amount of food that you get for the Tuesday deal. All of the fish tasted fresh and delicious and great texture. Although we did not try anything crazy, it was just a good sushi especially for takeout. I know it is not everyone's favorite either but they give a ton of ginger/wasabi which is my personal favorite addition so I am glad that they add that. Both the raw and fried rolls were delicious, my personal favorite was probably the dancing tuna or the spicy california roll. I would really like to try this place again and try some more and different options!

When we got sat, it took around 15 minutes for a server to greet us and when she did, the energy shifted. I understand people have bad days but the tip percentage is decided upon the quality of service. A bitter attitude and a lack of attention is not the usual expectation when dining out. When our appetizer arrived, disappointed accompanied it. The Bang Bang Shrimp has always been a crowd favorite; this time around it was burnt yet soggy pieces of shrimp. The sauce was enveloped by the taste of frying oil, causing the flavor to be bitter. By the time our entrees arrived, morale was at an all time low but the first bite of my roll made up for it. The Ichiban roll is unique- asparagus with spicy salmon and yellow tail may sound bizarre but it works. I've come to the conclusion that Sakana is purely a sushi restaurant. I have never been displeased by the quality and flavor of the sushi. Henceforth I will be ordering off the sushi menu and I recommend you do the same.

I visited Kintaro Sushi and Hibachi for the first time on Sunday, 18 August 2024 in the late afternoon with my friend and fellow Yelper, Dr. Antonio P. FOOD -- They specialize in AYCE (All You Can Eat) Sushi and Hotpot. When I entered the restaurant, I noticed some yummy fried rice with steak and shrimp so maybe I'll order that next time, if I visit Kintaro again. I came to try the 'All You Can Eat' hotpot (soup) lunch for $17.99. You can eat as much as you want for 2 hours. They can charge extra for food waste so don't order too much. For their hotpot all you can eat, you are given a menu to mark off what you want added to your soup. I can't remember if I chose a pork based broth or a chicken broth but I think it was pork-based. The hotpot came with some beef strips (rolled up), ramen noodles, and cilantro. The broth didn't look as fresh as I would have liked when my food was initially brought to me but after adding the ingredients to the soup, it tasted fine. My soup needed flavour as it was bland so I had to stand up and go to the back of the restaurant to get some chili oil and sauces so that I could add that to my soup. When my food was brought out, it was actually a lot for 1 person so I don't remember finishing my soup. I did add all the ingredients into the hotpot and ate enough of it that I wasn't charged extra for food waste. Overall, the hotpot is decent. Customer service was friendly and efficient. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 114/250 total reviews in 2026 - 955 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 1 June 2026

I was working at a coffee shop nearby, 10 mins away, with a friend and we both decided to walk over to Hako to grab lunch. FOOD -- Hako has lots to choose from, including sushi, rice dishes, dumplings, etc. I ordered the Dumpling Bowl ($13.95) for lunch which was delicious and fresh. The Dumpling Bowl includes sushi rice, furikake top fried chicken dumplings, and cucumbers. It is topped with spicy mayo & eel sauce. The chicken dumplings were thick, crunchy on the ends, and slightly creamy with the spicy mayo on top. The addition of the sushi rice gave for a filling lunch. The dish wasn't too salty especially with the cucumbers on the side which added a cooling effect. I will definitely order the dumpling bowl again and the price ($13.95) is a lunch special, I believe. AMBIANCE -- Simple design inside with tables and chairs. Calm atmosphere. Clean. SERVICE -- Quick and efficient customer service. The lady at the checkout counter was very friendly. We spoke about her being from South Korea. I will definitely love to come back to Hako to dine-in for dinner.
