Love the food the Hibachi grill is fun!!! Our host had the whole family laughing he was interacting with us it was so fun!!!

His total vegetable portion-notice there is nothing else on the plate because he served the vegetables 20 minutes after everything else!

Very disappointed tonight. Our Chef, that we were excited, to have entertain us did little to nothing. He left the vegetables in the corner of the grill for twenty minutes before moving them to cook and serve much much later than the protein and rice. I had my hungry teenage nephew with me and there was two other couples that we did not know seated with us.....the chef served everyone before my nephew and literally gave him less than half a portion. He is as big as a man, standing over 6'2"! The other people looked at his portion and spoke on the discrepancy as well! He cleaned his plate of what he was given while all the others sitting with us(grown men) had leftovers to take home! I stepped away and asked to speak to a manager. Very rudely she spoke to another worker in a foreign language and took 20% off, really gee thanks! We will not be back.

Update 12/20/2018: Have been back several times since the change of ownership almost a year ago, and sad to say it has declined since then. There's an odd smell as soon as you walk in, that continues into the dining area. The small plates used for sushi/appetizers are plastic, pink with hearts, and say Galentine's Day on them, and are used year round. Special rolls aren't coming out as described on the menu, such as the Green Phoenix is now served with spicy mayo, & no roe. Overall, the experience feels cheapened, and kind of dingy. Will probably give them another try in a few months to see if anything has improved. We have been going to Wasabi since it opened over 10 years ago, & in the hundreds of visits only a handful have been off, usually do to new wait staff, not the food! We usually choose to sit at the regular tables (not hibachi), but you are able to order from the hibachi menu, which is nice if you're in a hurry or just not up for the presentation. Our favorite appetizer is the pork gyoza, and the Green Phoenix roll (spicy tuna rolled in avocado & topped with roe & a vinegar cream dressing). We try to pick a different roll every time we visit, but often end up ordering the Sunshine Roll. I also always get salmon sashimi, & its fresh & buttery-like in tex

Four of us ate here for my twins birthday dinner. Good hibachi show. Good food. As expected. Would recommend and return. Covid restrictions, masks recommended.

The night that I stopped in there were three other couples dining, which I understand were all regulars because of the great food. I can't disagree with them. Got duck and filet and both were cooked as requested and to perfection with a delicious char, a juicy center, and perfect salt and seasoning. Sides were packed with flavor as well. Ordered a cheese board appetizer as well and they reopened my eyes to blue cheese, peppers, espresso beans, and olives. Very intimate setting, maybe 8 tables max with one server (maybe two and I missed) but I'd plan at least a couple hours for your dining experience, especially if you plan to get appetizers or dessert. Tips: Gotta check out their FB page for the weekly hours and menu as they close some weekends for catering. BYOB, no corking fee! No need to bring corkscrew, they cork it free of charge.

A guy I assumed was the owner or manager was sitting at the bar watching TV and doing a crossword puzzle. A few minutes later we ordered a burger (well done) and a blackened salmon wrap. And then we waited. And waited. At 3:42pm I asked about the food, noting how long we were waiting. The waitress said it was coming right up (our waitress was kind and understanding). However, the owner grumbled at me that "the food is cooked to order." Ok. Great. I told the owner we only ordered a burger and a wrap and that doesn't take almost 40 minutes cooked to order, especially considering the place was empty. The owner got up and started talking back aggressively and in an irritated tone about how we didn't wait that long. I repeated that it doesn't take that long to cook a burger. I asked if he treated all his customers like this. If the owner is reading this: Here's a tip. Get off your behind and manage the restaurant. Don't blame the customer when the cook takes forever. Instead say, "I'm sorry it took so long we will get right on that" and then pop back in the kitchen to see what is happening. I'm so sorry that customers interrupted your important crossword puzzle. My "well done" burger was burned. I wanted it cooked through not a piece of charcoal. Not good. And my wife's salmon wrap did not have a lot of salmon. For what we got, it was very expensive. The waitress was excellent, but the service from the cook and management was abysmal. We will not be going back there again, which is too bad because as locals have enjoyed going to City Lights during the summer to sit on the patio for dinner.

We called and they said no reservations. We walked over and noticed there are NO lights in the parking lot. This made it feel dangerous with cars driving around and very unsafe. After a few minute wait we were seated. Our waitress was either new or off her game that day. Our drink order eas taken fast, but that's where the positives end. She didn't come back for almost 20 minutes ro take our order. Another table that came in after us already had their food before we even ordered! The rest of the night was like this. Someone at a nearby table went to the bar for another beer because she took so long with them too. We were ready to leave but our waitress was nowhere to be found for almost half an hour. By that point the restaurant was practically empty. It's almost like she forgot we were still there. The food was decent, but a little overpriced for what it was. I ordered bbq while my wife had the rotisserie chicken. I thought it was a little bland. I overheard our waitress say they often have people come in who don't want to wait at the other steakhouse nearby. I would say change your plans to something else. You'll be thankful you did.

The menu has a variety of choices from hot/cold sandwiches to pasta, steaks, seafood, chicken, salad and soups. Everything we had was delicious. The buffalo dip appetizer was not too spicy and had a tangy flavor from the blue cheese in it. My Reuben was HUGE. I could only eat half of it. The crinkle fries were tasty and the homemade ranch dressing was perfect for dipping. My son got the chili and he and my husband couldn't stop talking about it. It was just the right amount to spice but a little sweet as well. My other son had the crabby chicken melt and it was smothered in crab dip and cheese. We usually avoid seafood when we aren't close to the water but we made an exception since it was MD and we weren't disappointed. I don't recall our server's name but she was super sweet, friendly and gave us updates periodically on our order. She was also quick to get our drinks refilled. We will definitely return if we are in the area again.

I'm not big on fried foods that often so I ordered the Captains Platter broiled. It was $41.49 and came with a crab cake, three shrimp, three scallops, a piece of unidentifiable fish and some steamed broccoli. It was absolutely not worth the price paid. The fish was practically inedible, awful flavor and texture. The shrimp were standard and the scallops were small. The crab cake really didn't have much crab in it. I wouldn't get it again. My second mistake was ordering steamed clams for $14.99...I doubt it was even half a pound. They tasted boiled. The bread that came with it was the best part of the meal and sopped up the juices pretty well. You get better clams from a Chinese buffet on a weekend where you get a meal for the same price as the clams. The salad I got with the platter was also pretty good, very standard. Hard to mess up a salad. The place is very tiny inside and not great for groups. We waited a couple hours to seat six people. It's decorated like an old Hooters and has that kind of feel. Service was 3 stars. It's super loud and noisy inside and she was trying to take our orders from across the table at the other end and I couldn't hear a word she said and she seemed offended when I asked her to come closer.
