Welp! I think I'll need to take this off my list of places to go in the Bridgemill area. As I was eating my house fried rice I bit into a fingernail. If the cooks wear gloves I'm not sure how that would happen, but it did. I called the store and while the manager was nice about it and assured me it had to be an egg shell, she let me know that there's nothing she can do for me except make another fried rice for me. I had to decline as I'm now turned off from eating there. I've bitten into an egg shell before. I also know what it feels like on your teeth if biting your own nails. Not even close. While I like the food I can't say I'll be back. I also have them a 36% tip on top of my carry out order.

Bonsai Tree Roll and Skytrack Roll. Amazing!

I've been to Wasabi about times now. Ate in once and take out 4 more. Possibly the best sushi in the area. I'd like to focus on the eat in: Restaurant is nice. Vibe is a little stale and the decor could use some updating. Past that, the food is awesome. Presentation of sushi was amazing and their rolls are very creative. My two favorite at the Bonsai Tree roll and Sky track roll. Both are delicious and extremely cool looking. See the pictures. They even have a creative vegan roll with spicy tofu topping. See picture. Highly recommend this plan. Decor and vibe could be better but Service was great, food outstanding.

Been meaning to review this place. Have been a couple of times now and can say it's one of the best sushi places in the area. The prices are reasonable and the sushi is fresh. If you haven't stopped in yet give it a try.

Have been going here since they opened. I absolutely LOVE their sushi. The Incredible Hulk roll is my favorite roll by far. I try to bring all my friends who love sushi here. The food is amazing and so are the people. Nothing but great things to say.

    Take out- still delicious!

We haven't eaten in here yet, only take out. That being said, we were happy with our meals. We got a few sushi and hibachi for the kids. Sushi can be very hit or miss for take out so we were pleasantly surprised. All of the rolls that we got were a great size, very fresh and delicious. The hibachi was also delicious. I hope to update with a dine in experience soon!

This is avocado rolls, fried sweet potato roll and the green goddess roll. So fresh and yummy.

My husband and I love their veggie rolls. We are vegan and it's nice that they have a separate vegetarian menu. the people are always so nice and inviting.

When I am in town visiting my sister, we would go to Rainbow Asia for lunch. That restaurant has since closed, and is now Wasabi Sushi and Steak Japanese Restaurant. On my recent visit with family for the Easter holiday, I met up with my sister and she wanted to come here. With the pandemic, she has not gone out to any restaurants. But getting her vaccination shot, this was one new restaurant that she wanted to try. And knowing I like sushi, she suggested we go here for lunch. Upon entering, we noticed the difference in the dining room having more natural light enter, which gave the dining room a much more relaxed feel to it. Unlike the darker interior of the previous restaurant. The dining room is comfortable, with the wood interior throughout. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. Our waitress brought out our menus and answered any questions about the the restaurant and any items on the menu. I wish I got her name so I could give her a shout out. She was really friendly and pleasant. I thought about ordering sushi. But my attention turned to the fried rice after my sister commented on getting the shrimp with fried rice. Not having fried rice since what feels like forever, I decided on the chicken fried rice. Both came with a bowl of chicken broth and a small salad with beverage. The chicken fried rice was good. And filling. My sister was pleased with her shrimp fried rice. The chicken fried rice ($8.00) and the shrimp fried rice ($10.00) made for a really affordable lunch. My sister really enjoyed coming here, and we will likely come here again the next time I visit. Maybe then, I will try the sushi.

Food was great, with plenty of variety. The pieces were a little on the small size but that is understandable with the current economic environment and them just opening. Chef / owner came from Kani house and knows his stuff. I'm coming back for sure.

Excellent food with awesome service. The chef is very experienced and knows what he is doing. For appetizers we had Crab Rangoon and bam bam. Both were so good, specially Bam Bam. There was a dance in my mouth. We ordered California roll, cowboy roll, Manhattan roll, Mexican roll and two types of chef's special sushi. Oh everything was so fresh, taste was on point. The presentation was spectacular. The kids ordered chicken tenders and shrimp plate. Plate was completely clean. We will definitely be back.

Horrible place. I had to do a charge back because the worker wouldn't take something off of the check. The sushi was old and spoil

Absolutely filthy- every inch of the place is covered in crust. The food is mediocre at best and way over priced.

We started with the gyoza and the tempura calamari (comes with a wasabi mayo sauce). The udon soup is huge and so worth the price. The broth is fantastic, toppings are awesome, the tempura you get was perfectly fried and came out hot. And if you need to know about the sushi rolls definitely get them, so much more filling and quality then I have gotten at similar places around the area. Service is good, the people working there are always on top of making sure that you got what you needed and that your food came straight to you when it was give ln to them from the kitchen. Ambiance is good. The outside you can tell it used to be a Waffle House, but inside they have some amazing decorations. The bathrooms are super clean, and for the lil ones they have some stuff running on the tv they have. Spend your money here, you will for sure be leaving knowing it was money well spent. For sure they will continuously get my families business.

From the outside it looks like a converted Waffle House so my hopes for ambiance weren't super high but thankfully I was pleasantly surprised! Our table of 4 shared 6-7 sushi rolls, some apps and a bento box. The sushi rolls were all some of the best I've had in Atlanta. The freshness, the combination of flavors and the incredible variety were all exceptional. The service is pleasant but not over the top. I love Diet Coke and the fact they sell by the can is not my favorite option but I'll deal with it because the sushi is so good. The chicken katzu bento box was just average but everything else was really good.

This is not your typical sushi restaurant as evident from its long sushi bar to its upstairs private booths. We were one of the first to arrive for a weekday happy hour and enjoyed trying various sushi, miso cod, and cold Japanese beer. We wish that frenetic Lily's was not the next sushi exploration stop on our progressive activity as we were spoiled by Edo's tranquil environment and quality food at Edo. The hamachi kama yaki was a lovely presentation of a very large grilled collar. Our request to modify the orange blossom roll for regular tuna instead of spicy tuna and no mayo was not a problem either. The jalapeno yellow tail roll was generous portion and again- hold the mayo please! Very pleasant and non rushed service. Only odd note were the photos on the menu- guess that was needed before diners became more familiar with the cuisine. Plenty of parking in its private parking lot in the N. Point shopping area. Looking forward to our next visit!

The rolls were missing the tuna, the fried noodles were ok but the prawns were not fresh. The Hokkaido miso ramen had two slices of meat and the rest was all noodles..hat was the best dish. The octopus appetizer was sketch soo I did not try to. We went to celebrate a birthday and they did give the birthday boy a nice birthday treat. For the cost we could have gotten better food elsewhere.

I started with the Shrimp Tempura appetizer with some scrawny shrimp with a weak dipping sauce but the coating was nice and it came with tempura slices of sweet potato, onion, and a broccoli floret. I had a bento box for my entree and it came with a soup and salad. The soup was tasty with nice mushroom slices. The salad had a flavorful ginger dressing, but it was very thin and watery and filled half the bowl after I'd finished it (see photo). My bento box was the steak version with upcharge to fried rice. The meat was tender and tasty and cooked with onion slices. The rice was okay, sparse on egg, peas, corn, etc. The yum-yum sauce that accompanied it was quite watery. It came with a tempura shrimp and vegetables that were also on the appetizer. The California rolls were disappointing with poor quality sushi rice that wasn't cohesive. The ingredients were flavorless, and even the wasabi was incredibly bland (how can that even happen?!?). The dab of pickled ginger was good. My waitress was attentive and ensured I got refills, up to the point that I got the bill, and she never bothered to offer a to go cup or refill. Processing the payment took a lot longer than expected, especially considering there were no patrons in the restaurant at the time. They have a combination of booth, table, bar, and hibachi table seats. The table that I sat at had it's finish marred and had a rough an unpleasant texture and needed refinishing.

It is well lit in eating areas but the rest takes a moment for your eyes to adjust. Service: ok. Prompt. No rudeness experienced. We were not ignored. Food: ok...here we go: Miso soup: great. Say what you want about miso, this hit the spot wonderfully. Salad: lettuce and dressing. A carrot sliver or two. Nothing awesome. Hibachi: YES! I don't eat rice, so I can't comment on that. The meat (filet and shrimp) were delicious and the steak cooked to perfection. The veggies were delicious and plenty. Price: lunch was about $50 for my wife and I, including tip. A single person drinking water could easily get a big meal for $20 to $25 (including tip). Would I go back? Yes.
