Good chain sushi place, lots of great deals. The place is rock and roll themed with fun names for rolls. This location also carries ramen which is solid. Best deal, in my opinion, is the ramen and roll combo. Will for sure get your moneys worth. Service is good and they are so kind here. I'm handicapped and needed some help and our server was so helpful. Only reason not 5 stars is because it is a chain, and while this one is a better one I have been to, it is what it is. Give this place a shot for sure when out at the Mill if you want a solid meal. read more

Friday night date night can be a challenge at times. As much as we like our regular haunts, we also trying something new. This was a new weekend and offerings of The Mill in Canton seemed logical. For unfamiliar folks, The Mill is a bonafide refurbished cotton mill in Canton, GA that offers cool restaurants and shops. It's not terribly far from us and seemed like a good place to target. Rock N Roll Sushi is a chain of sushi restaurants with a 80s hard rock theme. It works for me, being a former 80s headbanger. Parking is ample, the restaurant clean, and kitschy decor hit me the right way. The service is great. I found our waiter to be really on the spot and attentive. The appetizers were the winner on this visit. The Crab Rangoon was one of the best I've had. The pot sticker/dumpling was flavorful. However, I wasn't a fan of the egg roll; but egg rolls are usually not my go to foods. The jalapeño poppers were forgettable. Not gross, not bad, just not memorable. My wife had the hibachi trio (chicken, steak, and shrimp). She gave it a seven out of ten. The steak was good, bot great. The shrimp were "a little past their prime." The chicken was "meh." The rice and veggies were the best things on the plate to her. Nothing tasted super fresh. I had the Crowd Surfer roll. It was fishy tasting. I am WELL AWARE that it's sushi and I'm eating raw fish in some cases. In this case, it was noticeable in a less than perfect manner. We declined dessert. Would we go back? Maybe. The appetizers are mostly winners. I can make a meal of those. And the service is great. read more

Was hoping for a fun sushi spot. Unfortunately this place was awful. The food was cold, the sushi tasted fishy, the lobster on the main event was absolutely vile. It was like cat food. Our waiter tried, but man he was just not great- his anxiety was through the roof and I felt so uncomfortable asking for anything because he seemed fully overwhelmed. Typically I don't write bad reviews, but this place has me frustrated after ruining my lunch several times. It's two times in a row now (4 times total) that I've ordered the "fresh" salmon nigiri from here only to receive pale, slimy, foul smelling rotten salmon. I wouldn't eat here for free, let alone for the $20 the 4 pieces of salmon and rice cost me. I don't even understand how the kitchen/chef allows this to be served? It's a sushi restaurant. At the very least, shouldn't the one thing they get right be the fish...? My order has TWO ingredients: raw salmon and rice. If they can't get that right, it says a lot. In regards to ambiance, I've always came here at lunch time, and I'm usually the only one in there. Judging by their outrageous prices for small portions of bad quality food, I'd guess this place is struggling financially. Service was fine though. Unless you like rotten raw fish, probably one of the most blatantly disgusting things you can encounter in life, don't order from here. LETTER TO MANAGEMENT: Instead of juggling with your numbers like altering menu prices in an attempt to increase revenue, why don't you just retreat back to the fundamentals? Downsize wherever you can. Spend less resources on the bar, shrink your menu, focus on improving your core items with better ingredients, and lower the prices. Your prices draw in people with high expectations, who are then or course disappointed because they're not getting anywhere near their moneys worth due to small portions, but far more importantly, poor quality food. For example, the ginger salad is delicious, but for $5-$6, you can't give a few more pieces of LETTUCE? You're missing the forest for the trees. This is a compounding issue, it will keep getting worse until this place has to close down. read more

I left Northside Hospital's Canton campus feeing famished and quickly ended up at Rock N Roll Sushi. I was the first customer of the day, so the friendly host let me pick any seat in the house. I settled on a booth in front of some giant posters of Stevie Nicks and Slash - legends in my book! Now onto the food... I started with an iced tea and miso soup (see pic). I also ordered a Spider Roll - Halloween is right around the corner, so it felt like the right seasonal choice. Everything was great! I like that they bring you both a fork and chopsticks for those of us who aren't quite as adept at sticks - I try, but it's good to have the fork as a backup for those small morsels (LOL!). The vibe is rock n roll just as the name implies. It's very entertaining. Over my lunch, I watched music videos (there are TVs everywhere) featuring Stevie Nicks, Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Green Day and more. I don't know what I was expecting walking in but it definitely wasn't an American themed sushi restaurant. It felt like I was in a rundown casino in Vegas. The sushi was the equivalent to Publix sushi or something similar. Not great. My wife had hibachi and the steak was really bad. Our friends also didn't enjoy their food. Service was okay. If it was cheaper I could see it being a good fit for people who don't care as much about food quality but this just all around misses the mark. read more

The chicken was rubbery. The fried rice wasn't fried at all - came out wet and with very little flavor.
