The texted me the day before my service to let me know they were coming. It took them about 20 minutes to clean the bins and then they texted me when they were done cleaning. This is hands down my greatest ever adulting choice. About 2.5 years ago it was a brutal summer and my groceries made my trash have a smell of their own. Of course, if you think it - the ads will appear. Sure enough I saw ads for Wash-A-Bin and reached out immediately and they responded quickly and set me up to begin receiving services THE NEXT DAY. Yes, you read it - less than 24 hours from my inquiry I was going to have clean cans. Here is how it works. I pay $16.99 to have both my trash can and recycling bin cleaned once a month. They send me a text the day before to remind me to leave my cans out because they come as late as 9pm. This text is such a helpful reminder. They then come when they can and when the bins are empty. Once they are done, they leave the cans lids off to dry and then send a text. It is important to wait for the text because if you think they've been done - your neighbor gets clean bins instead. (I learned my lesson and have never brought them in early again) It is such a great service and the gentlemen that come by are beyond friendly. Wow!!! Why didn't I know about this service before. I am so impressed by how amazing and clean my bins looked and smelled that I had my neighbor come over just to check them out. I swear they smelled like fresh lavender and was completely shocked. Haha!!! Very easy service. Once you sign up you are sent an email reminding you to leave the cans outside on your garbage day. Then, you receive a text the night before reminding you again . I watched the whole process like a creeper from my side gate in the backyard because I was so amazed. They take the bins, wash and sanitize them in there truck. Then, the guy actually gets into the garbage bins and cleans them with a rag!! I couldn't believe it! Once they are all finished you get a text. The moment the guy was done I pretty much rushed outside to inspect them. My bins were absolutely disgusting to begin with. I leave mine out on the side yard so imagine all the gross stuff that has baked inside them over the summer. This company doesn't have a license to do business in Clark County and they are in default with the Nevada Secretary of State. They are registered as Versa Steam LLC. They charged my credit card and they never called or confirmed my order. Also, they didn't show up to clean my bin. I have made several attempts to reach out and they don't answer the phone or emails. Worst experience. read more

Never thought I'd use such a business until I realized the work involved to wash, scrub, rinse, and dry out 2 tall waste bins for the garbage pick up. I located Wash A Bin on-line, made an appointment, paid for the service in advance, and got a receipt confirming my wash day which was 2 weeks out. I got a reminder text a couple of days before my appointment day. On that day, they came and left me with sparkling clean and sweet smelling bins absent all the crud, dried house paint, and smelly fish fertilizer, etc. You get the picture. This is my second attempt to use this company. I do not understand why they bother offering a service if they are going to be lazy and not provide the service hired for. The first time I cancelled service is because they said they would clean my trash and did not show up. I decided to contract with them again because I needed the service. Saturday 7/23, they were suppose to service my trash cans. They argued with me after sending video clips and photos that my trash cans were not serviced. They sent me a photo that they were there at 6:06pm to clean my trash cans. My cameras record on motion and there was no motion between 4pm and 8pm that day. Wash a bin is not reliable. We were renting our home here in Vegas. I had NO IDEA this service existed! I saw a truck on the road and committed the name to memory. So glad I did. I had no idea they have a "subscription" service, a monthly, weekly, what ever you want type of bin cleaning. I wish I knew prior. We are moving, and I chose to use the service to clean the bins for the next tenants (this was not done for us!!). The bins are literally sparkling clean. It said that they try their best to expedite your first clean and I figured since it was garbage day that I could expect my first service next week. They texted!! Immediately!! They were cleaning out bins and they charge the service but didn't show up after we contacted them for not doing a good job with the cleaning. It took about 4 weeks for them to contact us after initial complaint. They advised that they will resume service at the beginning of the year because of the service fee they took but didn't do the service, but they never showed up. I never new this was a service until I saw one of these trucks at our neighbors house. Like most others, our HOA requires that we keep our bins in the garage (Gross). I no longer have to get down in there myself to wash the trash cans & LUV that they are so meticulous with our cans, they smell so good when they are freshly done I could bathe in them, I don't, but I could :) Their reminders & text updates are great, reasonably priced, with versatile plans. Poor customer service, initially paid $60 for the service and waited a couple of days for someone to call and schedule an appointment but never heard anything so I called to set up an appointment and they couldn't locate my account then they finally found it and said they were sending someone out that night and no one ever came so a week later I had to call again and then they sent someone out but they cleaned the neighbor's trash cans so I had to call once again. I forgot to take my bins out on cleaning day and they never reached out to reschedule just charged me for the service. This companies customer service is horrible. Yesterday was an extremely windy day, our trash bins were flying all over the place so when it hit 5pm we moved the bins in the garage. They didn't bother knocking at the door for the bins but extremely quick to take the payment. Then I requested them to come back out and was told they charge $15 for no show. I get charged $15 for them not cleaning my trash bins. So I requested to cancel service and was sent a link saying they're going to charge a cancellation fee. Horrible customer service! I've had their service for a year and a half and they used to be amazing. I moved 2 months ago and it took multiple voicemails and emails finally saying I was going go cancel my service before they finally responded and changed my address. Today I got the message that my cans were clean, but my trash hasn't even been picked up yet! Nobody answers the phone and they never respond to messages. Follow-up: Amazing. Not sure how, but they were successfully able to get all negative reviews removed from their Facebook page. Fortunately, they can't affect that outcome on Yelp. So, to summarize: Posted a reply to a negative review on their Facebook page, looking to see how the business owners would respond to those complaints, and gauge their customer service, before considering them for business. Action of business: No response to their criticts, and somehow got the negative commentary deleted. Conclusion: The first post only called into question their dubious handling of customer service criticism, but was not an indictment of their honesty. I use to love this company. I'm not sure if they sold the company or what's going on. They have debit my account and not come to wash my bins but are quick to charge a fee if the bins where never left out. I've called countless times emails and no response on either end. I am so impressed. First, it was easy to sign up for service. I signed up on a Sunday and my trash day is Tuesday. I wasn't expecting service to start on Tuesday since it was only a few days lead time, but I received a text message confirming my service was scheduled for the upcoming Tuesday. When I came home on Tuesday afternoon, about 4:30pm, both my bins were moved up to the sidewalk to stand out which indicated to me they had been cleaned. I checked and they were indeed serviced and cleaned. I don't expect service to be that quick always, as they say they work as late as 9pm, but all I can say is Wow! We just signed up a little over a week ago and got our first cleaning yesterday. We have a dog and an HOA that forces us to keep our trash cans inside our tiny one car garage. We've cleaned the cans ourself numerous times with just a hose and a bottle of dish soap, but without the proper tools it didn't make much of a difference.
