I have one of these. I had to provide the tech a tape measure and level; he didn't have one with him.
    Douglas S.

My real estate agent recommended Pentagon, saying "I've heard good and not-so-good, but they're a third recommendation, so give them a call if no one else works out." Pentagon was the third company to come out and quote. A-the tech didn't know about a standard plumbing tool; a cable saw. SHOCKING. B-He couldn't give a quote because he didn't know how long it would take to move things around so he could get his Sawzall in to the area to cut the pipe. C-Hemming and hawing around the install was our first clue that this plumber would not be a good fit. D-He offered no idea of how long it would take. The other two companies commented that "at worst, cut out the entire stack, rebuild, and install would take 90 mins to 2 hours." He indicated it "might be a two hour job or a four hour job." At two hours, their price would be only slightly higher than the previous two quotes, at four hours (priced at $109.00 for second hour and beyond), they'd be triple the previous two quotes. When I asked if it could possibly go beyond four hours, he responded that he didn't know. I explained that I was not going to hire someone who couldn't give me a quote, and couldn't tell me approximately how long it would take. That's just stupid. I could be spending $500.00 before I knew it. The tech who came to our house did not instill confidence. No questions, just lots of thinking out loud, and not being able to see a rapid solution. The other two that came out both had immediate thoughts, responses, quotes for time and materials. His "non-estimate" of at least $350.00 for time/materials was a bit more than the first quote of $190.00 for time/materials, and only slightly higher than $260.00 for time/materials. The guy that came from the second company came in with bootie covers, nitrile gloves, very high standard of speaking, looked us in the eye, and felt trustworthy. The tech from Pentagon walked through the wet driveway, leaves, and pine needles, didn't clean his feet on our doormat, and tracked in water on our newly polished floor of our just-purchased home. No booties, no real sense of pride nor presentation. He's probably a good tech, and it was just hidden beneath his demeanor and presentation. Needless to say, we hired the second quote that seemed priced in the middle, as Pentagon would not offer a quote, saying they'd have to do the job first, and then tell us how much it would cost. Job is done, and done well. Hated to share with my real estate agent that Pentagon wasn't all that impressive.

However, after the two pleasant, informative, and professional plumbing technicians I had earlier, I later had a third technician come to my home for an HVAC matter, and he was anything but. About a month ago, I had a toilet backup and called Bumble Breeze. Hugo, the first technician, seemed to clear the clog and warned me that wet wipes should never be used, as they will clog your toilet faster than anything else. Unfortunately, a second technician had to be called days later when the clog returned. Adrian, the second technician, was also pleasant and professional, but after being told I would have to pull the toilet and potentially pay $1,700 to $1,800 to permanently clear the wet wipes, I decided to go in another direction. That direction cost me $300.00 and has completely fixed the problem. After the toilet incident, I was in the Bumble Breeze database and became inundated with offers of a low-cost HVAC inspection. This is where it all went bad. The third HVAC technician was nowhere near as professional, informative, or pleasant as the first two. After he left, I had to call Bumble Breeze for a return visit to fix what the initial technician had inadvertently caused. I asked for a different technician, but the same one returned. Since those visits, my HVAC system isn't working as well as it was prior. I was given an estimate of $800.00 - $1,100.00 by the HVAC technician to fix non-critical findings. Then I received another estimate from the Bumble Breeze office for approximately $2,800.00+/-. This HVAC process is/was extremely distressing and concerning. As a result, it is unlikely I will be contacting Bumble Breeze again for either plumbing or HVAC services. Nothing bothers me more than "low-ball" unprofessional estimates.

The A/C went out on them and they didn't want to "bother anyone" Well, first call to Fetch A Tech and they put an Emergency Rush for someone to come out to check it out. Well were told it would be between 2-4pm but were surprised when they called back in 10 mins and said someone could be out between 10-2pm. We were just happy someone would be out to check out the situation. When Jacob came out he found out that the Blower was out and oil had leaked which tripped the circuit breakers. Jacob came back in a couple of days and changed out the Blower with another along with a New Thermostat. We cannot say enough about Jacob and Fetch A Tech. They were prompt, professional and above all, cared. They went above the call of duty in their immediate response during a very Hot Week in May. So a big "Thank You" to Bernadette who took our call and especially our Technician Jacob, who went "above & beyond." We Highly recommend Fetch A Tech and their super reliable service! 5-Stars

After several incidents of substandard service and being told I needed to do work that did not need to be done, I cancelled both contracts. Since one contract was not close to the renewal date, they asked me to keep the contract active and allow them to earn back my business. I said yes, only to have the same sort of incidents repeat themselves. So I cancelled the contact that was not close to renewal. Months later, I discovered I'd been charged $299 for an annual membership. Several calls later, and no resolution. I told them exactly why I was cancelling in a blunt but not disrespectful way. I remember it clearly but I did not get confirmation. I would not recommend working with this company. In my case, they told me I needed extensive work- and sometimes I did that work- only to be told later but reputable vendors the work did not need to be done.

We have had excellent experiences with Nevada Residential Services (NRS) in the past with…read morereplacement of our AC units. When NRS offered to inspect our water system, we jumped at the offer. When you live in the desert, you can't take any chances with your AC or water systems. Both can turn into expensive issues very quickly. During our inspection, Arturo with NRS noticed some corrosion and possible past leak at our water heater connections. Chances are these connections are original to our 2004 condo and since we have neighbors downstairs, we want to avoid any leaks that could result in issues that could affect both units. The NRS Team presented us with an estimate that we were pleased with and we scheduled Arturo for today. Arturo called ahead when he was enroute (we appreciate that) and was onsite in no time. Arturo took the time to explain what he would be doing to eliminate a possible issue and make our system more secure. Changing out the old hoses (over 20 years old) and connections to solid copper piping and new connections gives us the peace of mind that you need with plumbing. He also configured it so should we need to replace the hot water heater, the new copper fittings will be easy to disconnect & reconnect. Arturo did an amazing job, kept us informed as he worked and the work area was spotless when he was finished. A true gentleman & professional. Many THANKS to Arturo and the NRS Team for spotting a potential plumbing issue and providing a great solution. That's what every homeowner expects. We would highly recommend Nevada Residential Services for your AC and plumbing needs. Sincerely, Lee & James Duncan

I scheduled my appointment @3am in order for Goettl to arrive in the morning. (Non emergency situation since it's just the beginning of summer) Tech tht came out was punctual, wore a neat professional uniform. He quoted me $2k+ then said, "I can replace the following parts, but I can't guarantee how much longer your unit will last." "If it were me I would get a brand new unit." When I asked about the parts that needed to be replaced he ignored my question. I informed the tech he was my first estimate/quote of the day, and that I have 2 quotes scheduled later, "I'll get back to you." The look on his face appeared so irritated that I was not ready to make a decision. He also did not understand the social que that "I'll let you know," also was a gentle way of expressing "please leave my home." As I tried walking him out he said, "let me at least get you some air flowing." And at the time it seemed like a "genuine act," but it mainly came off as a desperation for a sale. I remember thinking to myself "damn, if this tech doesn't make a sale is he going to get fired?" I was charged $288.00 for dual capacitor. Replacing the capacitor did not fix my issue. And after doing some research the dual capacitor only costs $20-$30 online for my AC unit model make and year. This entire experience was a learning lesson for me to be more firm. I should have just thanked the tech for coming out, and asked him to leave. DO YOUR RESEARCH before moving forward with Goettl. In the end I paid way less than 2k to have my AC repaired, and it was not with Goettl. Quoting me 2k is absurd, NSCB may have some investigating to do,
