This establishment is a filthy, vile cesspool. Don't let the shiny machines and cheaper than normal prices fool you! That is unless you don't mind wasting every penny you spend on washers that do nothing more than soak and spin clothes in filthy water. I visited this "laundry" facility this evening after spending a day at work, in order to wash sheets that my child had had an accident on, along with other dirty towels and jeans. You would think even with low prices of $10.50 and $8.50 for the largest and second largest washers, a customer might expect once they've paid their money, the washing machine in return would provide fresh, clean clothes. NOT HERE!! It wasn't until after I'd wasted $19.00, AND, an hour of my evening, AND, wasting another $8 to dry my still soiled clothes, AND, stood at a table folding what I idiotically assumed where clean clothes wondering where the putrid smell of urine was coming from, did I realize I had just spent $27 dollars to fold a warmed version of the filthy clothes I paid to wash!! THIS PLACE IS THE DEFINITION OF PATHETIC!! Here's yet another sorry excuse for a business owner that cares more about lining their pockets than providing anything close to resembling adequate services. Why waste your MONEY & TIME at this dump when there's a laundromat on every corner. Businesses like this deserve to go out of business. I spoke to the attendant as I collected my still dirty, but now wet laundry, from the still running dryer. I let her know I had all the proof in my laundry bag and offered her to "take a whiff" so she could let the owner know exactly how atrocious his facility is. She declined.... ANY APOLOGY? COMPENSATION? Nope, just a crooked, knowing smile. Congratulations, you bamboozled me out of $27 bucks and two bags full of wet pee smelling clothes, but I'll never be back to your hoodrat dump. First time here and I like it. I would drive all the way to spring valley to do my laundry after having the worst experience at Eco Laundry on main. This location is close to home and it is very clean. Plenty of Washers were available and they accept card and quarters. Even wireless pay like Apple. read more

The guy that works at night is so rude. All he cares about are those red carts. I have been going there for years. I felt so uncomfortable last time I went. So I went last week and last night. The guy would just stare at me. Both times. My son came to help me fold and he even told me that the guy kept staring at me. Bring back Christian and Brandon and Perla. The address here is 576 Jamacha Blvd in El Cajon. The sign says Laundromat. I am using three 6 loader washers at $8.00!!!!!! Each. 2 out of 3 machines Fails!!!!to add the soap!!!!! I can see the soap in two of the machines soap containers. I am using 3 machines. I can clearly see no soap suds thru the glass. I hope this place gives me $16 back. prices are not bad. The owner I believe he is, is not very nice. They have a machine to get a card and fill it up with your own cash but instead the owner carries his own card around charging people using his own card. They won't even let you add sufficient clothes in the machines. read more

I came here despite the negative reviews because it is very close to my apartment complex. I was seeking a better deal and bigger washers than my complex had to offer. I didn't even do laundry here because as I was loading the washer the Asian lady started criticizing and sneering at me. She was so rude and disrespectful, and the washers were more expensive, $1.80 for a single load, that I took my clothes out of the washer and left. They don't take quarters or give you a card to load the washer, so you must talk to one of the two Asian people that work there. I definitely will never go back and I don't recommend that you go either. read more

In my book it gets five stars! I was in a pinch to where I had to wash one load. My apartments close our laundry facility at 8 so I looked for a laundrymat that was open late. With my son having no cloths clean I ran here at nine at night. The lady here was so sweet and helped me. I had no card to work the washer or dryer and I gave her cash. Wow talk about a angel! Pricing starts at $2 for a single top loading washer, $2.50 for a double front loader. 50 cents for 10 minutes of drying. No quarters needed - or accepted. You need a card and the attendant fixing broken machines wants you to pay him. No thanks. There are many other (cleaner, cheaper, more user-friendly) laundromats in the area I'd rather go to.... read more

THEY'RE IMPROVING! The new owners are taking great care of the place. The attendant is nice and works hard and my blankets seem to be the cleanest I've ever seen them after using the 8 load washer. I've officially had a change of heart about this place. Yay read more

I love this people. Christian is such a sweetheart! He has helped with our clothes a few times. I will only go back to him. He has such an amazing personality and is quick at his job. He gives estimated times and calls and updates my clothes. He is very helpful and checks in guest I notice while I was there. He helped carry to my car and from too. He should be recognized personally in my opinion. He may just be doing his job but he's pretty good at it read more

This Asian guy is a dick. I showed up at 9:55p with wet clothes that needed to be dried. Their sing says "last wash 10p" so I should be good since I'm only drying right? Wrong! He meets me at the door and won't let me in the door! (Mind you they are open for another hour and 5 min) he says it's too late and he won't let me dry. So I'm stuck with a laundry basket of wet clothes. I went to the laundromat on Washington and Magnolia well after the 10p cut off and I was welcomed in since I just had to dry. Oh and by the way, I drove by this place at 10:20p and all the lights were off and shut down. He just didn't want to stay open his regular business hours for a customer. I will go some where that appreciates customers not is inconvenienced by them. read more

Closest laundry area in my neighborhood. I LOVE the 8 load wash. Really cuts my time in half with my laundry. Very friendly staff and helpful. Machines are always clean, I've been going here for 2 years and I've never seen it dirty or machines not working. Having someone there at all times is always a plus. Been coming here since I got an apt close by. Nice variety of washers and dryers use the card or ask the owners they are super nice and helpful!!! Always clean when I come but sometimes when it's busy people hog the carts which is annoying. read more

When the machines are working correctly this place is great BUT that's only maybe 10% of the time. I've been disappointed with the service/quality the last few times I've been here. Like today, their hot water heater is broken and you can only use cold. I'd go somewhere else if it wasn't so conveniently located. read more

Apparently, they don't follow their hours. I was in a bind and just need to dry one load. I came in an hour before closing time and was denied service. When I asked to talk to the manager, I was denied of that too. The worker was hostile and vulge towards me and approached me as if he was going to get physical. Will never ever return. read more
