Great service and easy to use self service when they're open. This is second Sunday I've tried to wash my dog there. The store advertises Sunday's 10-6p. It's 4:15p and I see the guy locking the doors. Bummer cause I now have to take a soaked, muddy dog elsewhere. read more

Just genius to put a self serve dog wash here. $10 gave us more than enough minutes in the raised tub to get my dogs super clean and fluffy. They have a harness to hold the dog in place plus mats on the bottom of the tub so it's less slippery. They also provide aprons for the people as well as clean towels. I was happy to see scented and unscented hypoallergenic liquid shampoos available, plus a dryer hose for maximum fur fluff. So nice to leave the dog park with tired, happy and clean pups in the car! read more

This place was great - aside from my scardy-cat Dane not wanting to walk the ramp to the tub the experience was flawless. The staff were super helpful and patient, and the treats flowed as freely as the herbal shampoo. Have a dog with allergies? They also have Hypo shampoo and plenty of aprons and towels to keep you dry (unless you have a 120 lb beast trying to ease their fears by leaning on you during the entire bathing experience - then you're just plain out of luck!) The prices are really reasonable too- starting at $8 and it's super easy to pay (although you feel like you're "feeding the meter".) You're in, you're out, your dog is clean and happy. These guys are great when they're open. They are clean, it's very convenient to go there, washing our dog is great... when they're open. The problem is... they're never open when I need them. I tried to find out when they're open (their hours change in the summer/winter). Can't check their web site (they don't have one), so I called their phone number to get their hours. No answer, not even an answering machine with a recording of their hours - nothing. So I drive by the location and the sign says 10am-6pm except holidays and park event days. I picked up my dog from boarding and needed to do a quick wash for him before I had to run to work. I expected them to honor their posted hours like any other business but nobody showed up at 10am and after waiting 15 minutes, I was running late for work and had to go somewhere else. They don't seem to take their hours very seriously. Today could have been a "park event day" where they're closed, but you would think they'd post something on their sign. Instead, I'm left guessing and I ended up being late to work because they didn't honor their posted hours. This place is great when they're open but I don't get the impression they take their hours of operation very seriously. I know this isn't a large business like a bank, but I've been burned several times when I've tried to come here and they're not open in the mornings. read more

First of all Yelp, please show their hours correctly. During winter hours, they are only open til 4PM each day. Once we spring ahead, they go to 6PM. Their prices have gone up too, only by a $1, but it's $10 for the shorter version, $14 for the longer. Now to the real review, these people are awesome. They provide the best service for you to clean up your dog, especially after a romp around Marymoor Park Off Leash park, which is next to it. The facility itself is clean and functional. It allows you to get your dog up off the ground, in a secure way and allow you to get them completely clean and dry. Think of a self service car wash, the wand, the dial, you get rinse, shampoo and vacuum all right at your fingertips. The people are what makes it even better. They always have a kind word, provide water dishes outside and dog treats to give to your pup. They go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. We go there every few weeks and are never disappointed. read more

If there was an option for no or negative stars I would use that. Very very disappointed with the service. Took my dog to get cleaned for the first place. As I entered there was one small door to get inside. Very small entry. Would not suggest for a big dog. One way in and out. There was a pay station inside so I paid for the $14 priced wash. This guy with a bald head came up to me and asked me if I ever been there and I said no. He continued on and said the service you paid for we don't do for newcomers and first wash is free. So first I think so why isn't it available to me and second they should really do better advertising. I'm expecting a full refund but I only got a $4 refund. I asked what this was about and he explained that I was just charged for the $10 service. I said 'Ok, whatever.' Out of nowhere the same employee attacked me verbally saying 'No it's not whatever! I explained to you prior you coming in!" He had such a bad attitude and huffed away while shaking his head at me. I work in customer service and this is not how you treat your client. I didn't have anything else to say and left. I will never come back here! What a waste of time. Frankly, I could care less about the money because the service is was horrid. DO NOT GO HERE. Perfect place to wash your dog. They can accommodate any size of dogs. Two different shampoo types are provided out the wash nozzle. 8 min for a wash is more than enough time for medium to large size dog. They provide aprons and towels as wells as any harness to keep the dog tied up. Best place to wash your dog after a rambunctious day in he Marymoore off leash park. On weekends call ahead to check if they are open as the concerts in the park shut down road access and the place may be closed. read more

This place is awesome. Perfect location next to the dog park in case my pup gets a little muddy, very reasonable prices. A quick and easy way to get your dog as clean as when they come home from the groomer! The best part is the high power dryer - I have never been able to fully dry our dog's fur at home with a hair dryer and this gets it done in no time! I've gone on weekdays when it's a little slower and the gentleman who owns the place gave me extra time for free! He is so friendly and so is everyone else who works there. read more

Nothing better than an insure dog wash station at the best dog part around. Lots of muddy spots around the part that can be problematic for keeping your car clean at all. But with the self dog wash station, it really doesn't matter. Let your dog roll around in the mud and have all the fun he can handle! read more

Never thought this would be good but I have to admit, this should be the best dog wash ever! They charge a nominal price of either $9 for 8mins or $13 for 14 mins compared to other kennels who charge $40. There is ample space to bathe and dry your dog. The washer has modes to rinse, shampoo, low dry and high dry. They also provide a large towel along with the price. read more

Does the Wash Spot have a new owner? We've been going there for years and have loved the business, esp. the wonderful staff. I've been there lately and the service is way off. The person on duty is always very busy talking to people who are there without dogs.??? One day I bought my ticket, found a spot myself ( only one other dog washer there) and waited for her to turn on the wash. I waited, waited...looked her way.... Her companion, with her in the back room, looked my way and asked if there was something I needed? Yep! Hate to bother them but I needed the machine turned on? What is that about? This business is a great concept and something many dog owners use regularly, please keep it great! read more

Great idea to put this here guys. If you bring your dog to Marymoore and it tends to roll around in the mud with the thought of spreading it all over the back of your Hummer, than clean him/her off here before you jet to the driving range. Do it yourself washing and they take Visa Black Card to boot. Awesome! read more

I went there for the first time today. The facility is very cleaned and well maintained and the people were so nice! My Akita took three turns at the wash to get all cleaned up (she was shedding big time and is a big dog) and they didn't even charge me extra! I had my toddler with me and she had a terrific time with the two dogs that were "resident" dogs at the dog wash :) Thank you so much ~ We will definitely be back! read more

This place is amazing and the help there so friendly! Took my one year old puppy there and was given the longer wash for the price of the short one, just to make sure I had enough time since it was our first time there. The machine worked perfectly and my dog now smells so much better. Could bathe my dog at home but honestly the $10 is worth it at Spot Wash for how easy they make it. read more

I love this place and so do my dogs! It's a good price and right near Marymoor dog park so your dogs can get nice and clean after a day in the park. The staff members are always very nice and helpful. They help me get one of my older dogs into the tub and they offer me more towels and more time to on the dryer to dry my dog if I need it. They provide the shampoo, aprons, towels, and dryer. Everything is kept very clean. The staff members provide plenty of attention and treats for my dogs. read more

Love my Wash Spot. After visiting the dog park, it's great to have the option to wash my two girls myself since groomers can be expensive and washing my lab and mix in the tub at the apt is a gruesome task (and involves cleaning the tub afterwards!!!). The Wash Spot has grain-free treats to make my girls feel like getting a bath isn't all that bad, and the shampoo they have makes my two babies smell like they really did come from the groomers. At 10 bucks a dog and with excellent helpful and personable staff, I dub this place a blessing from God. read more

This is a great spot. Clean, nice people and great facilities. Only minus is that the hours are not very predictable.

Love this place. It is WAY cheaper than any other dog wash Ive been to, and the owner is super helpful, friendly and genuinely adores dogs. My dogs always get tons of attention and treats when we go. The owner is also very reasonable if you run out of time and need an extra min to finish rinsing. He also let me wait 5 mins for the medicated shampoo to sit on my dog's skin without cutting that time from my wash. The place is insanely convenient as well, what a genius idea! I can bathe both my aussie & husky in the 8-min "spot wash" (8 mins each) for the same price of doing one of them at any other dog wash. read more

We've never self washed our dog before -- she's a 50 lb Australian Shepard, and it always seemed like too much for us to do. But after a long run in the park, she needed it, and based on the reviews we thought we'd give it a try. I agree with all the other posts -- its cheap, you get help from the very friendly staff if you need it, and it does the job all for $9! The only thing I wanted to add are the WINTER HOURS -- they're only open until 4pm in the winter, not 6pm like the photo here shows. I wouldnt want anyone to miss out!! read more

This place is AWESOME!!! I used to work at a groomers and washed dogs there, and compared to the place I worked, Wash Spot Express is so much better!!! They have great equipment and the staff are sooooooo nice and friendly!!! I would not take my dog anywhere else to get bathed. It is a do-it-yourself place but if you have any problems the employees are happy to help. I cannot say enough good things about this place!! I took my two labs here today for baths. I was very impressed with the entire experience. Warren was super nice and very helpful in walking me through the process. Both dogs walked right up the ramp and seemed very comfortable in the tubs. The temperature of the water was perfect and I loved the ease of applying the shampoo. Best of all, since the tubs are at waist height, my back didn't hurt and after I was done the entire mess was left behind! The price is reasonable and totally worth it! read more

Our pup rolled in something very smelly at the Marymoor Dog Park today. Thank goodness The Wash Spot is located at the parking area of the dog walk! Cynthia came to our rescue. She set us up at a true dog washing sink and gave me latex gloves (at no extra charge) so I wouldn't have to touch the smelly stuff. She even gave me a special shampoo to eliminate bad odors, which afforded me 2 chances to rinse out the offending smell. This place is a car saver! Very reasonably priced. Supplies everything you need to wash and dry your dog well. read more

I have tried Wash Spot Express twice and the convenience of this place is very nice but I was not happy with the service. This is supposed to be a self service dog wash but the owner constantly micromanages you during your dog wash. Both times we were there he took over our station to tell us what to do in a very discourteous manner, wasting the time we were paying for, and being too aggressive with our dog. We will not return to Wash Spot Express. read more

I'm really heartbroken to write this review. I've been coming to this place since last two years. I have to admit that its a very clean, efficient and a great facility. Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience today. I have a 2 year old, a very well socialized Lab who knows the drill of the dog park and his wash. Today, I happen to take my friend's golden retriever who is very different from my own Lab. Also, the Asian gentleman who wears glasses, who is extremely polite and helpful was not there today. The gentleman in his place today was not very helpful despite there being only one other person washing their dog. I got the 14$ wash knowing my friend's dog has severe anxiety. This gentleman helped me with this dog up the ramp only after a few minutes of watching that this dog was not ready for a bath. I personally felt he was more interested in making a small talk with the other client instead. Once, I finished the wash and vacuumed the tub with the vac, my dog started trembling with anxiety. I decided to get the dog down and started using the vacuum to dry up the dog. This helper came up to me and told me that I had to vacuum this dog in the tub despite explaining to him earlier how anxious my friend's dog was. He offered no help this time to help the dog up the ramp and he just walked past me, got his key out and shut down the system when there were 4 minutes left. He also went back to the other client, so to "help" when there was no particular help needed. Now, the factor that I have not mentioned so far is that I'm also Latino female. I really hope that his unwillingness to help had nothing to do with my descent but he thoroughly lacked compassion towards the whole situation. I am health professional, so I really have a hard time overlooking this guy's lack of empathy towards my dog. Needless to say, small businesses which offer such great services at a small cost, should definitely be more cognizant of how they come across to their customers especially when we live in such a diverse place. I have to say, I'm thoroughly disappointed today. I'd hate to cave in and start taking my own dog to a chain pet store for future services. read more
