Brad and Jeri Washburn did a fabulous job of capturing all the details of our wedding day. They were so professional and flexible, and they worked with my husband and I to make sure we were able to get photos at all 3 of our locations. Both Brad and Jeri met us at our hotel for some pre-wedding "first look" shots. I have never enjoyed having my picture taken before, and I was a bit apprehensive at first, but their easygoing, fun approach really made it stress-free. Brad photographed our beach ceremony, as well as our reception aboard a yacht. His knowledge and experience really showed through, as he used the natural light and surroundings to create beautiful scenes. He managed to be everywhere at once, yet his presence was very unimposing. We really appreciated that he offered to stay an additional half hour or so in order to get the final shots. We have a wonderful variety of photos to choose from including the traditional photos and many very creative and artistic ones. We were aiming for a vintage feel on our wedding day and they were able to photograph and edit the photos in a way that truly captured the feel we were going for. Another thing I love is that we received all our images on a disk after the wedding...and quickly! We received the photos about 6-7 weeks after our wedding (most people I know have waited closer to 4 months for their photos!) and the disks were beautifully packaged and labeled. Our wedding package included the engagement session, a guest book album of the engagement photos displayed at the wedding, a 30 page craftsman wedding album, 200 proofs, all the photos on a high resolution CD both color and black/white, plus a DVD slide show of 100 wedding photos set to music of our choice. Where do I begin? Hiring Jeri and Brad to do our photography was one of the best decisions I made. They were absolutely phenomenal to work with and the photographs are just incredible. They gave us a perfect blend of the formal wedding shots and the fun candid moments. We used Washburn photography for our wedding last summer and I have to admit that we are disappointed. On the positive side, Jeri was nice, on time and professional on the day of, but we are not happy with the pictures we got (after 7 weeks). There were a lot and lot of pictures of the decorations, and the wedding party what is ok but unfortunately there were only a handful of pictures of the wedding guests. There were many of our guests that did not make it into a single picture. And it was not a big wedding. I would have expected to get pictures at least of each table, but unfortunately that was not the case. Maybe we should have told her that we want pictures of all guests but it did not cross our mind to ask for something that seems obvious. My fiancé and I made last minute plans to visit Santa Barbara as our original plans to Hawaii fell through due to a major hurricane.
