I rarely write reviews because I really just want to say "They did exactly what they said they would do" and be done with it. Yelp, however, says my reviews are too short. I think those reading the reviews don't need a bunch of extraneous stuff. Yes, I'm sure the technician likes puppies, takes time to fly kites with his kids, slows down his work truck near school crossings and is kind to those he meets on the street. In addition to helping me with my electrical projects at home, I've referred many of our customers to B&G electric, as we are a General Contractor. They are fairly priced and respond when you call them. Unlike many electricians, you get a live dedicated customer service representative on the line, who then dispatches their technicians throughout. The communication process is consistent - with email and text updates/reminders of appointments. I received very professional and excellent service from B & G . I had a few dead power outlets in the living room that I hired two technician earlier both failed to figure out the problem, which costs lots of time and money. B & G was my third attempt before I give up. Garret root-caused the problem quickly after asked me a few questions about previous remodel project done in the affected area. He than quickly test his assumption and rewire the connections. Garret fixed the issue within 30 minutes and help fixing a few other electrical related problem as well in the house. I love these guys. I hired B&G a couple years ago initially to replace all of the ceiling lighting fixtures inside my house to LED's as well as add new LED cans in rooms that did not have enough light. After going through an extensive proposal process then, these guys were both the best in terms of the level of detail in their proposal and also the most responsive to my questions. The work itself was excellent. I just recently hired them again to replace all of the incandescent and fluorescent lights in my garage and to update some top of cabinet lights. I hired B&G to install new bathroom fans and smart thermostats for my condo. They were extremely communicative and helped me identify what I needed to purchase before the appointment and also said they could supply things if I didn't want to purchase things. They told me the itemized pricing before the day of the job. I'm extremely impressed with how responsible they are. One of B&G's trucks accidentally damaged some siding in my condo's exterior and they went above and beyond to have it fixed. I had Xander from "B&G property maintenance" help me with two electrical issues at a new place I recently bought. Both of them were dealt with at a reasonable price and with a high degree of professionalism. 1.- My fridge was tripping the GFCI: By the time Xander came, I had already brought another electrician to look at this. That other person incorrectly told me that the Fridge was faulty. Because of this incorrect assessment I had to bring a technician to look at the fridge. After hours of the technician following up with others from the fridge's manufacturing and his own colleagues he concluded the fridge was not the problem. Fortunately when Xander came he actually took the time to look at the circuit (something that the previous electrician did not do) and concluded that the specific outlet that the fridge was plugged into had to be wired in a special way to prevent the GFCI from tripping. Its been months since Xander's fix and the fridge has been working fine since then. 2.- Following the great experience I had getting the fridge to work, I requested Xander to come install a dedicated circuit for an aquarium (this is a salt water aquarium so it uses quite a bit of electricity for pumps, lights etc). He did a great job installing a dedicated 20 AMP circuit. The aquarium has been running flawlessly for months now. read more

I actually didn't use B&G Property management and Electrical, however, wanted to leave a review as they did help me. As context, I had an electrical issue happen which required addressing. I reach out to numerous electricians; however, all were booked aways out. Through the process of telling B&G what the issue was (and getting a quote for service), they provided some troubleshooting advice based on the information I gave them. I am happy to say that their advice worked - which saved me (likely) hundreds in fees (regardless of who I chose). I contacted B & G electrical to put in a dedicated circuit and a whole house surge suppressor on 6/10/24. Emails back and forth with details, and photos of open circuit boxes. Garrett gave an estimate of one person 2 hours with cost of first hour and second hour. I asked for cost of surge suppressor and if it was included in the 2 hours labor, he gave me price and said 2 hours would cover all of it. B & G scheduled apt for 6/26. Then 6/25 they needed to move apt, no 48 hour notice, asked if 7/1 would work. I called the next day to accept 7/1 apt and was told then that they had just gotten some big jobs and had nothing available until August sometime. Didn't say when in Aug, just sometime. Office staff said, "Was that okay? and oh, by the way it's been changed to a two-person job" And I was told that 2 people would cost more. Whole experience very unprofessional, basically felt like they had enough work now so didn't want to schedule me and didn't stand by their estimate either, despite the scope of the job not changing at all. Our circuit breaker tripped overnight and I couldn't reset it - I messaged several contractors and only B&G responded promptly at 8 in the morning and they had a technician out in an hour! Zoe was super helpful in scheduling and being transparent about costs. Initially I was not impressed with BNG property. My scheduled appointment time was noon and the electrician did not show up till after 2 o'clock. My opinion changed though when the electrician, John showed up. John was very knowledgeable and did quick work on the project that I had. We had a new panel installed by B&G approx 22 months ago. Our assumption is that an electrician's job is to test their own work. We did not realize we would have to test every breaker, outlet, and light fixture in my home after the work was performed. Bad on us for assuming. HOWEVER, there is not a good reason to play with a panel all of the time so once we touched it for the first time after almost two years, we've discovered that things were wired like the old aged panel that was replaced rather than asking questions about how things could be done more logically. Now of course, to revisit the job, they want their palms greased again. We'd have been happy to pay for a couple if extra hours in the beginning to have made things logical but now it will be a service call plus several hours of work to do that. They seemed to have done quality work but we are dinging them on stars for not providing the service upfront that they should have and not being willing to revisit with some sort of a break to correct things. read more
