Overall nice customer service, always response to my emails within one biz day. When calling, there's a live person answered the phone within 5 minutes. Much better than expected. I produce way less Trash & Recycle than the average. It usually takes me 1~2 months to fill up my small containers. They gave me the option to have the Trash picked up once a month -- fair. But Recycle Pick Up is every 2 weeks, can NOT be changed. So I have to pay about $13/mo even though my Recycle container is empty, and I only roll it out (for pick up) about once every 6 weeks. So I am being charged for (Recycle) service that I hardly use. Every dollar adds up, especially for a retired elderly. 0 Stars - what the heck... We recently moved and Waste Management is apparently our garbage/recycle/yard waste service provider. I called them in March to start the service in May and to have the new bins delivered - all went well until the first scheduled pick up. Bin pick ups are every Thursday with Recycle being every other Thursday. I leave the bins out on Wednesday evening for Thursday morning pick up - on the first pick up, yard waste is picked up but the garbage is missed. I do the chat feature online and they told me that 'your garbage bin was not out, so it was not picked up.' I let them know that it was put out...they offered to do a missed pick up and said the garage would be picked up within 24-48hrs. It is now July 7th, 2026 and every single week for the last 9 weeks either the garbage or recycle is *not* picked up. Every single week for the last 9 weeks i call and let them know that it was missed, ask if this is normal service, ask if my address was not added to their servicing schedule, ask why it was missed, and every time they say 'so sorry, we will make sure they get picked up.' Completely blown away by how horrible this service has been from the start. I dont even want to go to the Waste Management golf tournament in Scottsdale anymore! Still waiting on a supervisor to call me back and it has been 4 business days since i asked to speak with one...losing my mind. My recycling bin didn't get picked up. I live chatted WM and was told they would pick up today. It wasn't. Chatted again. They said they came by and my bin wasn't outside. Its been outside for teo days. They actually lied to me. I told them so and I did not appreciate it as I pay for their service! They said later today or tomorrow. I will see but I won't change my review, they are an awful company but they have a captured audience as they're the only waste company in this area. read more

Well one doesn't often hear kind words about the rubbish collection companies, but I want to shout out to a rubbish collector; yes an individual! A hard working human being and an obvious good person! I don't know where the Waste Management company has it's headquarters for North Kitsap County Washington and that's why I chose Seattle, it's close. But, this isn't about WM it's about an employee! On our morning drive down Lemolo Shore Drive in Poulsbo to Agate Pass Fitness we followed a WM truck making its weekly collection run. Following one of these might be frustrating to someone in a hurry...we were not. We didn't pass the truck. We watched as he empties the last rubbish bins on Lemolo just before turning down Lindsey Lane. A small piece of white paper blew off the truck on the opposite side of where he was operating the machine that picks the bins. I noticed it but hadn't time to think about it before he walked around the front of his truck and picked up that piece of paper!!! I mean how often does that happen? I don't even know how he had noticed the paper; he was on the opposite side of the truck! You, Sir are a fantastic caring individual and an invaluable asset to your company and our community. THANK YOU! We appreciate you. I wanted to get out of the car and go thank him but he had already continued on his rounds. read more

Their app/web interface for new customer issues is nonexistent and you can't find their phone number anywhere under "contact us." Our church is located in WA and every January we house a homeless men's program. I called and asked them to please provide a second dumpster pickup for the month of January and ONLY the month of January. I just found out from our accountant that they have been billing us ever since. I called then today, after trying 2-3 times to go through their Virtual Assistant which does not work btw and finally got in touch with a real person. They informed me that they will stop the service but since they already came out to do the pickups, they will not refund us any of the money we paid. When you log in to their website, you can add a pickup, let them know of a missed pick up, but can't cancel a pickup unless you actually talk to a real person. No wonder they have a 1.4 rating on Yelp! They are deceitful and underhanded in the way they do business. We are now out over $1000.00 in costs that we should not be liable for. read more

After several attempts earlier in the week, I'm trying once again to get through to someone, anyone, to make a simple change to my commercial account. The first phone call today resulted in being on hold for 1 hour and 18 minutes and I never got through. Second attempt of the day is 28 minutes on perpetual hold...and counting. It's worse than awful. It's despicable. If only they had some real competition, they would lose most of their customers in a hurry! I'm actually considering cancelling my service and hauling the garbage and recycling to the transfer station myself!! read more

I remember the days when you pa paid for a service and companies followed through (because you paid them). Water management has not picked up my trash in a month now, yet they're still charging me for the service... Would love a refund for the missed pickups but so far I've been on hold for an hour. Too bad they have a monopoly on the area and choose to use that to treat their customers poorly. read more
