As a seller, my experience with Wasteland in Studio City was less than stellar. This is the worst, crudest store I have ever known. If you value your self esteem, BEWARE. And their merchandise is wasted too. In addition, I just heard that they are soley responsible for shutting down (on Christmas Eve!) a death row shelter rescue organization's weekly adoption event that has been located next door to them--adopting out doomed pound pets for 15 years. They called the police on this Studio City animal charity icon for absolutely no reason. Wasteland is a tasteless wasteland and needs to be put out of business. They are very bad for people, as well as for sweet helpless forgotten animals. I never went back into this store after being treated like dirt (not wearing crummy enough clothing I think), and when I discovered what they did to a charity which rescues animals and finds them loving homes, I decided it was time to speak up about MY treatment as well. This place is an absolute joke. If I could rate 0 stars I would. They should be arrested for the thievery of countless expensive items. They sell stolen goods (I know this because I had my house robbed, found out who did it and he told me he sold the shoes and other shirts to wasteland), and they are incredibly daft when it comes to actual valuable items. I went in with a genuine Louis Vuitton belt, Manganni shoes and other T-shirts and they said they have NO USE FOR THEM; Magnanni shoes purchased from Niemann's and a Louis Vuitton belt purchased directly from the LV store in Bev Hills. DON'T GET ROBBED BY THEM!!!! Awful store. Buying from there, not as bad. But still very expensive from what they buy it for. Or I mean ROB people for. read more

Recently I visited this location and saw a framed rising sun flag pattern with Japanese soldier's face printed on a t shirt display on the wall. Japan's Rising sun flag was used in WWII in conjunction with the Nazi's swastika symbol - which is the definition of hate and everything that goes against America's idea of democracy. Not only does this flag symbolize the horrible acts done in WWII against the Allies and my people, but displaying this your store is disrespectful and offensive to the WWII heroes who fought for our freedoms. Absolutely Fantastic service, I cannot say enough about the incredible staff at this store. I moved from the other side of the hill to the valley and was anxious to try this location. I must say the staff is much better than what I would find at Melrose. Even the dressing room attendant was helpful and patient. I really scored a couple of great pairs of shoes. I have found my go to store and I'm sure this is the first of many trips to Ventura Blvd. read more

The fact that Wasteland is only 2 $$ on here is a joke. I've never been to a more overpriced store in my life...well that's not entirely true but Wasteland is right up at the top of that list. I like tons of clothes in the place but I only have two arms and two legs so I can't give up one of each for a pair of jeans :( read more
