Super clean wasteland! Doesn't smell and has a security in the front to protect the community and goodies :) Their selection of clothing were random, not many flashy designer as I would think there'd be in a busy and known area, but there were reasonable priced pieces.

Wasteland seems like it's here to stay. Referring to this location. I have been to other locations in the past, but today was my second time visiting this store. After leaving Crossroads with the bag of clothes that were returned back to me, I wanted to see if I could sell my old clothes to this store. Got a very nice, pleasant greeting by the security guard at the front and he directed me all the way to the back. There were 2 ladies that checked my bags, piled my clothes in different piles and took a very good look at them. Felt like I was trying to sell them my royal oats. Anyway, got rejected again by them telling me that they will not accept my clothes without giving me a reason. That was very unprofessional. All my clothes were in a VERY GOOD CONDITION!! I looked around and didn't even see anything close to or better than what I had in my bags. They put everything in the same bag and told me thank you for coming in, maybe next time. All I wanted to do was sell some of my clothing. They couldn't even accommodate 1, 2 or not even 3 items from my entire wardrobe. I felt a bit disappointed. Grabbed my bags and left the store. Store was clean, had couple of dressing rooms, has 2 entrances and a big parking lot shared with many other businesses.. Prices vary from one item to the next. Buying hours are between 12PM-6PM. They sell, buy, trade, women's, men's clothing, shoes, and accessories. They have many different styles, labels, colors by different designers. Didn't waste much time over there since all I wanted to do was sell my clothes for a buck or two. They also have a lot of vintage stuff. If you are interested in stores like this, then Wasteland is your one stop store!!

I went into Wasteland in Studio City twice in the same day this week. I went in to browse. I was impressed by the diverse selection of clothing, shoes, and accessories available. All items appeared to be in good condition. I liked seeing a wide variety of styles, patterns, and textures for many items. Many things appeared to be pricey, but of good quality. Unfortunately, I didn't see many size-inclusive women's clothing.

Solid 3-star. Some interesting clothes and good labels, but high priced and poorly organized.

The staff here is so welcoming and sincere, and are not afraid to strike up a warm conversation. The store is run very efficiently for consignors as well -- I've consigned many men's designer that have sold quickly here. I'd say it's easier to find nice designer womenswear. Men's designer is harder to find, but at times you'l get lucky with designer menswear.

I purchased two candle holders and later got a voicemail saying I owed an additional 33 cents because they'd undercharged me. Odd amount to call about, but I was out of town and didn't call back right away. The next day I answered a call (that turned out to be from them) asking for someone else entirely. Assuming the number was possibly spam, I googled the number, saw it was Trove, and then emailed them directly, saying I understood I owed 33 cents and asking for an invoice. They corrected me. I actually owed $33, not 33 cents, they couldn't send an invoice by email, and wanted me to call and give my card info over the phone instead. After everything already off with this (the wrong number call, the 33-cent voicemail, no email invoicing), I didn't feel comfortable reading my card number to someone over the phone. I offered to stop by in person instead, and asked in advance if they could have a receipt ready showing my original 33 cent charge, so I wouldn't be making the trip for nothing. I rearranged my lunch break to make this happen and showed up as planned. No receipt. They said they'd emailed it, but I'd specifically asked for a printed copy, the least they could do given this was their error to begin with. That request took several days notice and still didn't happen. Their printer was "acting up," so I got no receipt for the original charge and none for the new $33 charge, either! An error on their end turned into a special trip, wasted time on my lunch break, and still no paperwork to show for any of it. Disappointing customer service, especially when the customer is the one who has to burn their own time fixing your mistake.

However, there really isn't much in the way of actual clothes to try on. There's way more online or with other retailers like Anthropologie or Nordstrom. The store is beautifully designed, but it's to hide the fact that they have a lack of actual merchandise. They also only have one size of everything out on the floor, which feels limiting and restrictive for anyone who isn't a size 0. I'm sure they have more sizes in the back, but that's not a great look in the era of body positivity. I still love the brand, but unfortunately the store was a miss for me. I'll continue to shop online instead.

I've always loved the Farm Rio brand and have consistently had positive experiences, (always at aventura mall) which made this visit even more surprising. Unfortunately, the staff was extremely rude, unwelcoming, and completely unwilling to help. Instead of creating a pleasant shopping experience, the atmosphere felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. What made the situation even more disappointing was the feeling that some employees were taking advantage of the manager's absence. Customer service seemed to be the last priority. I still appreciate the brand, but this particular location does not reflect the values and experience I've come to expect from Farm Rio. Based on my experience, I would not recommend shopping at this store.
