The waitresses were cool and attentive. For starters, we had the scallion pancake which was just okay, nothing special. My friend ordered the chicken katsu and said it was alright. I got the chicken ramen, and honestly, it was pretty bland and disappointing. The highlight was definitely the sushi. We ordered the halfway roll and kani Stella rolls, and those were actually really good. They were fresh and flavorful. For drinks, she had a Diet Pepsi and I got bubble tea. Ordered take out from Wasu and it is definitely one of the best sushi places in the area. The fish was fresh and they certainly don't skimp on their cuts. My order was well packaged and they even threw in some freebies as well I enjoyed the nigiri more than the rolls. The rolls, while good, were not tightly rolled. They just weren't anything special. I posted Review seven years ago when WASU opened and we've been coming back quite often in the years in between sometimes for lunch sometimes for dinner. we've never had a disappointing meal. I have visited this place on several occasions. On my own, with my co workers for lunch and to celebrate a birthday. Each time I have visited it has been a different experience and I'm not sure why. The 2 women (taller lady and the short one) just seem to be really overwhelmed with managing the phone, online orders, pick ups and tending to the patrons dining in. Granted each time there was maybe 3 patrons in total dining in at each occasion. This last visit will be my last and I will not recommend this establishment anymore to my friends. I received such horrible service from the tall young lady so much so that another person in my party stated that they thought the service was poor, before I could utter the words out. We had to ask her for EVERYTHING !! Utensils, napkins, cups for our drinks and straws. Typically when you dine in, you usually receive all those items and more. And each time we asked the young lady for an item, she mumbled something in her language. The last straw for us was when she mumbled something to the man making the sushi rolls and he instantly looked up at me and we made eye contact. Additionally, her manners are poor. We thanked her for her service, and she pretended to not hear us each time. There was no way we were tipping her after that. I recently visited this restaurant last week and was very disappointed with the service. This was the third time I've been and the service was mediocre, but last week was my last time. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. No one greeted us, we picked our own seats. We had to ask for menus, cups, and utensils. The lady who covers the register seemed to be the only one mandating the register, phone, tables, and orders. Mind you there were others there working who weren't pleasant by their demeanor. She also was rude when we asked for containers and bags for our left overs. She then spoke in her language to another worker who looked directly at us after she finished speaking. I was expecting unctuous, fatty, melt-in-your-mouth pork. That's the kind of pork that'll make the broth have body and a thickness that'll coat your mouth & leave you thinking about it for days!
