My wife and I drive from Heath just for this place. The food is ALWAYS amazing. The presentation is STUNNING between the food and the decor inside. And the service is OUTSTANDING and efficient. Oishii deserves 6 stars. Try it. You won't be disappointed. This is legitimately a high scale sushi/Japanese place at a VERY affordable price.

The calamari was good and the sushi was fresh and enjoyable, definitely some of the better sushi I've had south of downtown Dallas. Service was also pretty good. I had a few questions and they were all answered without any issues, and the staff was attentive without being overbearing. It wasn't too packed when I went, almost on the slower side for lunch, which honestly made the experience feel very relaxed. It's a really family-oriented, community-run type of place, and I'd actually love to see them get a little more lunch traffic because the quality is there. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it. We had 13 people at the table with 2 more tables of our group who came after us and still not food! Those tables after us were all served and finished and still my sushi did not arrive at the table. Had to ask them to make it to go and still had to wait! To make it worse the sushi was terrible. I ordered the Godzilla roll, no flavor and it was soggy. The soy sauce they put in the bag was low sodium which add nothing to an already terrible Roll.

But, I don't think so, this is ramen. i order the #1 tonkatsu ramen and with pork tonkatsu combo for about 20 the ramen white soup base is the first time I had this. very good the katsu was fat and very good as well. i finished everything including the cabbage. in addition, i think the 2 piece of pork in the ramen is bacon or pork belly. very generous thick slices as well. total with 20% tip is about $25. very good!
