My wife and I drive from Heath just for this place. The food is ALWAYS amazing. The presentation is STUNNING between the food and the decor inside. And the service is OUTSTANDING and efficient. This had to be the worst experience I had we drove an hour out of our way to go try this place to get to go order that cost us over 50 bucks. We drove it all the way back home to come out and find that our Ramen had no broth in it the beef inside the Ramen was overcooked. Stopped here for dinner after the gym after 7pm on a Thursday. The parking lot for moderately full. The establishment is nice on the inside - cutely and authentically decorated. I ordered the spicy ramen to go with a side of kimchi and a Thai tea. My husband got a hibachi plate. I was immediately greeted upon entering and my food was ready upon pickup. I was impressed by the Togo bag. Its reusable!! Once I got home I was equally impressed by the packaging of the food. I was weary of traveling with soup but everything arrived neat and warm despite a 30 min bumpy ride home. My ramen was delicious. Perfect amount of spice with portions big enough for left overs. The kimchi was spicier than I remember at other establishments. I didn't like it that much. My Thai tea was pretty good and refreshing, perfect to wash down the spicy kimchi. I tried some of my husbands hibachi though and was not impressed. I definitely would return for ramen and I also want to try the sushi! To be honest, we were headed to our favorite Thai restaurant Thai Pho, but it was closed until 445. It was 351 so we were going to Kohl's and drove by this place and said let's look at the menu saw the reviews were great and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed at all everything was delicious customer service great our waitress name was Yuki. Weven got a little dessert at the end. Ambience is great nice cozy place wasn't many people in there, but we will be back very huge portions. I'm very excited. The place looks cool inside and I've had Oishii before in Dallas so I was excited for them to come to Forney! I was able to order quickly and my food didn't take long. I got their vegetarian ramen and an order of spring rolls. The spring rolls were standard, but the ramen was a different story. It lacked quite a bit of flavor and the avocado and mixed greens inside were very weird. Not sure mixed greens should go in ramen. It wilted so fast and was just soggy. The seasoning you see in the pictures were added by me. Also, the cauliflower looked like it had mold on it or maybe it wasn't cleaned properly. It was also raw, so that threw off the textures of the meal. Noodles were cooked unevenly. I would not get it again. As a vegan/vegetarian friendly eater, I would have to review the menu again to see if there's anything I would be able to get. read more

I'm so happy to have more good food choices in the neighborhood. Oishii is in a great location with easy parking. The dining rooms is cute and very spacious. I went on a Thursday night and all of the booths were filled. A good sign. I had the shrimp tempura roll. It was a really generous sized roll. The tempura shrimp was still warm - it was very very good. i could've done without the dark sauce (eel sauce maybe) but i didn't mind because it complimented the saltiness of the soy sauce and wasabi. I chose the Chicken Katsu Curry bento box. It included the Katsu cutlet on a big bowl of rice along with miso soup, a California roll, pickled cucumber, cabbage slaw and fried veggie spring rolls. The California roll had imitation "crab" which pretty much ruined it for me. I just don't like the sweetness and texture of fake crab. My only other feedback was that they did not have Katsu sauce (I don't like curry). Service was efficient and pretty fast. My server was attentive and polite. The curry ramen was really good i ate that there. I ordered the rest Togo, 2 sushi & for nearly $16 a pop and I got 6 small bites it was not worth the price the portions are way too small. I ordered the 5 piece taco they were tasty, I also ordered chicken stir fry noodles my order came out to be over $85 & there really wasn't much there. First time at Oishii we left. The wait was too long. HOWEVER, it was opening day. So that was 100% expected. We went back as soon as we got the chance. And I am so glad we did. Our server was delightful, the ambiance is calm and relaxing. The food came out pretty fast and was fresh. We enjoyed every dish we ordered. We got the Black Garlic Ramen. The Stuffed Jalapeños. Crab Rangoon. And the pork belly rice. (This was our least favorite. Which is GREAT! It's rice. lol) They carry Kirin Beer! HUGE plus for me. Nothing beats a Kirin with some ramen or sushi.
